I have a 8+ Mb VI that won't save when in runnable condition

I have created a large VI that links to more than 40 sub VIs. I can save any changes I want to the main VI as long as it is not in runnable condition (broken run arrow). However, when I make the final change to put the VI in runnable condition and then try to save, LabVIEW stops responding. This happens whether I choose save, save as, or try to save upon closing the VI.

I also have a fairly large VI that links to many subVIs but do not run into the problem that you are describing. The following are suggestions that might help.
One suggestion that I have for you is to reduce the size of your application. I am guessing that you have several bitmaps in your front panel. You can reduce this by loading the image from file using the "Graphics and Sounds" function. This may or may not be included in your development system, depending on what you have.
One other wild guess is to change the video resolution to 16 bits or lower. I know that LabVIEW will freeze for several minutes when you try and print the front panel. It might not be related but it is worth trying.
Third option is just to wait for about 5 to 10 minutes to see if LabVIEW
would come back. I don't believe that it will but try it for giggles.
Last option is to get on the phone and talk with an Application Engineer about your problem.

You can contact iTunes Customer Support on this issue. I had the same problem once & they were able to fix the problem for me. Contact them at [email protected] They will get back to you ASAP.

I have a folder from today that won't let me change its name. I can change the other folders just fine. I do it routinely... any ideas what I screwed up?

I'm as a loss. I don't understand why today's folder "2014-06-06" won't let me add "_Kim" to the end. I do it will all my folders since I download from a couple of cameras.

Hi, as the title suggests I have an old Airport Express that I have always used wirelessly to connect to my hifi but now that I have upgraded to Yosemite it won't connect via Airport Utility 6.3.4 and Yosemite won't let me use Airport Utility 5.6 Seems I'm stuck between a rock and hard place! If the AirPort Express is very old, such as the original 802.11b/g - only models A1084 or A1088 you will need a commensurately older version of both AirPort Utility and OS X to configure it. Those models were discontinued about seven years ago and support for them is gone. Ethernet won't make a difference anyway.
You may find instructions or links to web sites with instructions to modify OS X in an effort to circumvent that restriction. I cannot emphasize enough just how bad an idea that would be.

Aperture says I have over 12,000 images that are referenced, but when I search all photos, I see nothing. Where are my images?

This is the second time I've been worried that Aperture is simply losing my images.
I am setting up a second drive to backup monthly and keep at a different location. When I prompt Aperture to set up a new vault, it tells me that over 12K of images are referenced and won't be backed up.
The first problem here is that I shouldn't have any referenced images. I used to reference, but that got all kinds of messed up (even though I was only using a single HD to do it). After searching manually to find all of my images that were where they should be but Aperture couldn't find them, I shifted everything to managed. This was frustrating since the photos existed, but Aperture just "forgot" about them, but I am in so deep with Aperture it'll be nightmare to shift to LightRoom (and I don't even really know if that's a solution to the problem)
The second problem is that okay, if I have referenced images, then Aperture should be able to find them, right? Wrong. A search of all my photos for photos as "referenced", "missing", "offline" yields nothing.
So it leads me to wonder: do i really have referenced images? Has my library been screwed up again somehow?
Even after rebuildling, I still can't find these so-called referenced images. If anyone has any ideas I'd be grateful. I don't want to switch software — will Lightroom really be any better anyway — and I love Aperture's workflow and UI. Not to mention how it ties to iCloud, etc.

Ian, rebuilding your library might solve the problem, but before you rebuild, make sure you have a backup of your library - a clone with super duper or carbon copy cloner would be better than a Time Machine Backup.
If rebuilding does not help, try to recreate by creating a new library and importing the old one into the new one.
As to the missing referenced images, how do the numbers add up that the Vault panel shows:
xxx managed will be included
yyy referenced images will not be backed up
Do the sums xxx+yyy add up the total of your images when you select the "Photos" view? Then it would be only a question of the vault assuming the wrong file status, not a question of missing images. Do you miss any images that should be there, when you browse your projects?

Tabs won't save when closing the browser

After updating to the latest firefox 33.0.2 it won't save my tabs or automatically reopen them the next time I open firefox. I already checked my settings and they are not the problem.

Does Firefox create a new sessionstore.js file in the Firefox profile folder (i.e. the file has a current time stamp)?
You can check for problems with the sessionstore files (sessionstore.js) files in the profile folder that store session data.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost and you will have to recreate them (make a note or bookmark them if possible).
Current Firefox versions also keep backups in the sessionstore-backups folder.

Form Fields won't save when coworker saves PDF file

I am on Acrobat pro (mac osx), my coworker is on Acrobat Reader 9 (pc, XP). I made some form fields in a PDF file and saved it. Everytime she changes some of the text in the fields and tries to save it won't save the stuff she entered. Everytime she opens it, it contains my orignal field data.
What steps do I need to take to make it to where she can enter in her own text and save without losing data.

You need to Reader-enable the form. If you have Acrobat 10, select: File > Save As > Reader Extended PDF > Enable Additional Features

I have one thing in trash that won't empty. What to do?

I have a file that is the name of my desktop that is a copy of backup.   Not even sure how it got there.   But trash won't empty it. It's a folder of 182 items so it needs to be deleted.
How to do that?

Alberto, did you give up on me?   I think there's a major corruption now that started with iphoto corruption. Then I moved to trashing a lot of extra stuff.   Now, can't open trash because it's frozen into 'move to trash' mode. So, can't shut down my computer either since Finder is now busy with all this.
Seems my whole computer is in trouble. Thankfully I can still send these notes.
Someone out there that can help?   I need to get rid of the frozen 'moving to trash window' before anything else.

Sometimes, a new iPhoto will simply appear for iMovie use. Sometimes I have to quit and restart iMovie for this to happen. But on this certain iPhoto, it just won't appear for iMovie, even tho I made a special album for it. That's blank, too. How can I beat this?

OK, I finally tried making it a TIFF in Preview, and it appeared in the iMovie photos, and it's in the movie.
But does anyone know why some pics are "reluctant" to go to the iMovie photo browser?
And why iPhoto rejects a .jpg?
