I have a 8310 wont sync the calender wireless,on the calender properties the wireless synchronization does`t allow the change option of yes or no.it is on no and does`t give me the yes option.anyone know why?It is a work email but BES in administered by Vodacom.I can get emails only.we are on outlook2003 server @ our workers can access their emails using web email.

As it should have been transferred to your computer when you synced, you can contact itunes support and ask for an exception.

If you subscribed to iTunes match the songs are kept in icloud. If you didn't but you did save the actual iTunes library folder which should include the music, video, etc. you should be able to just drag this file back to your machine in the same place and when you open iTunes it will give you a chance to identify the iTunes library folder.
You can test this to find out if you saved the media files or not and don't need to attach your nano to do it.
You are correct that once you connect the nano it will clear the existing files from it and sync it with the new iTunes library.
If you don't have the media files i'm not sure if/how to get them back on a windows ipod. I have everything backed up regularly because of the horror stories I have seen & heard.

If you are using the 2nd or 3rd gen Apple TV (little black box) then it would have no syncing or storage capability.
iTunes content would be accessed using home sharing.

HT1386 I am trying to sync my iPod Touches calendar to my MacBook Pro calendar. I have been successful at syncing the events from my MacBook Pro's iCal to the iPod but haven't been able to sync the events from my iPod to my MacBook Pro. Is this possible?

I have an iPod touch that I often use to manage different events for work. I have been able to sync the events on my calendar from my MacBook Pro to the iPod touch successfully using wifi. What I really need to do though is sync my iPod calendar events to my MacBook Pro calendar. Is this possible? How do I set this up? It would be a huge help if I could transfer the events on my iPod calendar to my computers calendar. I currently have the wifi sync option on and have turned on the sync calendars option in iTunes. Thank you for your help!

TS1503 iTunes keeps telling me I don't have enough space to sync the songs and it clearly says 3 GB free and yet it won't sync. Has anyone had this issue ever? Before a week ago I could fit 900 songs and now I can't fit 300.

Didn't know an iPhone is capable of "BS"! Impressive. Do the basic troubleshooting steps described in the User Guide: Restart, Reset, Restore.

I can't sync the calender on my iPhone to my Ipad on my Mac

I just got an iPad 2. I have an iPhone and MacBook Pro. I synced my iPad and all the information from my iPhone synced except my calender. I can't figure out how to get my calender information from my iPhone to my iPad.

I thought I was using google calender, but turns out I'm not. In fact, I can't figure out where my calender information is besides on my iPhone.
I did get 13 years worth of calenders to sync, but nothing from Jan. 2012 to present. I still don't know where they are on my computer.
Some of the events I can only see in the List mode in the calender on my iPad. I'm sure this goes back to when I got my phone 2 years ago and had to transfer 11 years of calenders and hundreds of contacts from my Palm to my iPhone. I had a PC then and the ATT guys couldn't help me at all. I finally figured out a way to do it through Goggle. It was a real pain and took hours and once it was done I promptly forgot how I did it.
When I got my Mac I just plugged in my phone and everything was synced.

Can't get Outlook to Sync the Calender properly to iphone

Just got my iphone 4, after sync with itunes, the only dates in Calender are for Birthdays but no events at all.
Using Vista and Outlook 2003.
Have also tried to add new events in iphone but also doesn't show up in Outlook.
Please help, need the iphone's Calender to work very badly.

What I am about to relay to you is what I learned when I got my 3GS about 18 months ago ...
I was not very impressed with Apple support ;-/
Here goes:
1) The iOS now looks at your contacts and if birthdays are recorded in the contact records it puts them on the calendar. So that is why the birthdays are showing up.
2) Try this fix, it was not my problem but some others have had success with it:

3) If you have repeating events that repeat "forever" trim them back to only repeat for a year or two.
(Reset them so they start repeating "now" and go forward for a year or two).
This did help me. I had some repeating events that would not sync.
E.g. I have an uncle that was born in 1898 the "default" event placed in Outlook
started in 1898 and repeated annually forever to remind me of his birthday.
Once I lied in Outlook and said he was born in 1980 it worked OK.
4) The only other idea I have (as my calendar is currently broken as well) is the following:
I have not tried this myself yet, but do see it as low risk - albeit tedious:
* Backup your PST file
* Empty the "Deleted Items" bin INSIDE of outlook
* Delete all the appointments from your calendar
* Add one simple event and try syncing it. If it works contine below
If it does not work ... well you're screwed, I can't help you ;-/
* Start adding your appointments BACK to your calender from the
Deleted items bin. Sync. and test, repeat until you find the "bad" calendar event.
I don't know what it is that trips up the sync, and there are no logs I can find
that would help identify the problem. Once you find the "problem child" leave that
Item in the delete bucket and re-create it from scratch.
Hopefully you'll get some better suggestions ... than this sorry approach ;-/

I reset my Ipod touch then it said to connect to Itunes, and I have but it wont sync why ?

Last night i factory reset my 4th generation ipod touch, because i am selling it. Thenit showed a picture basically telling me to connect toitunes, and i tried several time but it wouldnot sync what so ever? What do i do ? My ipod is cracked,if that helps at all?
