I have a bigger problem than I can fit into a single sentence; now what do I do?

I have a used Dell desktop running Windows 2000 Pro NT that I got for free when a rural elementary school closed down in the neighboring county. I have been using this computer for two years as a normal user, as I don't have access to administrative privileges. As the school no longer exists, I can't just contact them to inquire as to what the administrator password may have been or what faculty member may have used the computer. Operating as a normal user has only presented very occasional minor aggravations... until now. After having to switch from my old FireFox to the new "FireFox 4-beta 12, ActiveX has magically appeared and has been wreaking havoc. I have found over seven million sites elaborating in great detail about how to add and install ActiveX, but none to explain how to disable and delete it. I can't just go to control panel/ security settings because I do not have administrative privileges to change or even access many suddenly important functions. ActiveX pops up on my control panel screen (and many others) and causes the icons to be displayed on the far left of the screen with a large blank area on the right two thirds of the screen. When I try to click on any of the control panel functions, the text will highlight in blue but will not allow me to access ANY of the functions. I have tried some of the highly praised "boot discs", including the heavily worshiped "Eunet..."something or other, now known as "Pogostick". Everything has failed. In the fine print, they all confess that it cannot edit the administrator or promote a normal user to administrator status on W2K Pro NT. This ActiveX JUNK that installed it's self during my beta 12 "upgrade" has made my computer unusable in a number of ways. And because of this administrator problem, there's nothing I can do about it. Come on, now! Are you telling me that we can build a rocket ship that can fly it's self to the moon, land, take pictures and grab a few rocks, then fly it's self back to Florida, but nobody in the world has been genius enough to outsmart an eleven year old operating system? If 2000 Pro NT was that impenetrable, the government would be using it. I need help, and I know that someone has the answer.

Firefox does not use ActiveX and will not have been installed when installing Firefox beta 12. ActiveX is an Internet Explorer plugin system and does not work with Firefox.
This will not be a Firefox issue, you should try asking in a Windows support forum such as the Windows Secrets forums - http://windowssecrets.com/forums

Only way to get iMac starting again was to re-install 10.4.4 from DVD, and then update it into 10.4.6. For a while it worked perfectly, just as before.
Then I tried to print to CD with my EPSON Stylus Photo 950 from Adobe Photoshop Elements (2.0). It didn't print anything, but printer started flashing all lights. The print job was not performed, so I did remove it from the Printer Utility. After that the iMac started "ticking" again, same noise than before, after 10.4.7 installation. I did re-boot iMac. It never started, it does stuck on gray screen (gray block running clockwise). HW test from DVD didn't find any problems (extended search looping 3 times). But Disk Utility found hard drive to have inaccurate node structure, it could not fix it.
Apple support recommended to use DiskWarrior. However, it does not support (yet) Intel Macs. I haven't got TechTool Pro 4.5.1 anywhere. iMac does start on to FireWire mode (T at boot), but I cannot see the disk from 10.2.8 iMac.
So, obvisously the problem is not 10.4.7. I believe it to be ESPON printer driver compatibility on Mac OSX. This does not suprise me, EPSON printers *****, I shall never purchase one again. However, disk catalog structure should not get messed by one faulty printer driver!

Are you still facing the same issue ? if yes then please post the screenshot of exact error and few details such as if you are getting this error while opening a specific file or on double click on Muse itself ?

If this is regarding your information line that says a stolen iPhone, Apple can do nothing to help you. You must track the iPhone yourself using iCloud and must have turned on Settings > iCloud > Find My Phone before it was stolen. If that was not done, there is no way to track the iPhone.
Report the theft to the police and the cell service provider and ask if they can blacklist the iPhone so it cannot be used. Change all passwords associated with acconts on the iPhone.

I am experience a similar problem, my iphone 4 either turns off by itself or I am unable to answer a call. Everything just blocks. After contacting 2 different apple service spots still no answer as to how can we fix the problem. Worse, I am unable to revert back to ios 5.1.1 where everything worked just fine.

To see if there are any backups of your device on the computer, go to iTunes/Edit/Preferences/Devices.
Moving the mouse over the listed backups will tell you to which device they belong.
If there is no backup of your phone listed, your data is gone.

What this message means is that you have more music in your itunes library than there is free space in your ipod.
I had this same issue at one time. This is what helped me put my music on the ipod. I used manually manage.

Can anybody help me on this issue? I have already tried to replace the batteries but since the computer won't get past the spinning wheel of death then the keyboard won't connect.

Please follow Apple's advice in http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2570. If you need to get your hands on a wired USB keyboard, even a PC one will work fine.
Do not follow the previous poster's advice, that option is a "last chance" option. OS X is stable and in most cases a reinstall is never needed. Follow the directions in Apple's letter.

If you cannot get mail to quit/force quit, you can always remove power from your Mac.
NOTE: removing power is a bad idea, and can result in data loss, but sometimes it is the only thing left to do.
Press and hold the power button for 5 to 10 seconds, and the Mac will power off.
When you power back on, the Mac should reboot.

First, please be aware that you are not communicating with Apple when you post in these forums. The only people who will reply to your posts are we your fellow users. iTunes Support will never respond to posts made here.
As to your issue, confirm with your bank that they do not block access from on-line services or otherwise have restrictions on with whom a card can be used. For some company cards, such blocks can be set up. If you confirm that no such restrictions are in place, post back and we'll go from there.

The are no limitations inherent in the ZIP file format (jar files are basically just zip files).
The only limitations I can think of are;
available disk space
maximum file size (for some filesystems)

Is the proximity sensor a bigger problem than the antenna?

A lot of fuss has been made about the reception if you hold the antenna in your left hand. By far the bigger problem is the location of the proximity sensor. On the iPhone 2, 3 and 3gs it was on the top left of the screen where it worked faultlessly. On the iPhone 4 it is on the top middle. The sensor detects the light, releases the keypad and your cheek will hang up, mute the call, select hands free, or face time. The worst manifestation is if you rest the phone between your ear and your shoulder. Perhaps people are assuming that the 'dropped' call is caused by the antenna problem. In fact it's caused by your cheek. I have a problem on about 50% of calls rising to 95% if I put it to my shoulder. It's not fit for purpose.
Please apple do something about this. It gives the world's apple haters ammunition.

That's not my understanding. I thought that even with newer versions of the OS, it would only install components that are specific to the machine type. I would think that it's not universal but one that is specifically tailored for the machine to avoid unnecessary overhead.
Driver updates are already available in Software Update or individually downloaded update packages, such as 10.5.6 to 10.5.7. The way I understand it, the update package would contain everything needed for all machines, but only the required drivers for the individual machine would be installed, and the package eventually deleted (in Software Update). There have been combo (as well as separate) PowerPC and Intel downloadable updates to Leopard, but I doubt that they would install all the drivers needed for all the machines.
To be honest, I don't actually know if the license I purchased when I bought my Leopard disk (10.5.4, I think) gives me the right to use a 10.5.7 install disk, or only to use a 10.5.4 disk + updates to 10.5.7. A small point, and I think (or, at least, I hope) Apple will not really care.
I would think you would need a physical copy of the install software.

Hello all, this is my first post on these forums. I have an interesting problem with my Blackberry Curve 8330, and should be a fun thing to troubleshoot. About a month ago I dropped and broke my phone, paid $100 to Asurian (sprint insurance) and they sent me a new phone. I used the Desktop Manager and copied over everything from old phone onto new phone they sent me. Now here is where the crazy part comes in. Whenver I'm at work, some of my keys dont work correctly. It took me forever to pinpoint when it was happening, and for a while I thougth I was fixing it by removing battery and restarting. But, here goes: After I'm at work for about an hour, the trackball key when pushed types #*, the B key types 2 other letters, N types 2 other letters, M types 2 other letters, and Del key types 2 other letters. I'm not at work right now so I dont know exaclty what those 2 keys are. So anyways, I thought the phone they send me was wrong, and at that time I didnt realize it was happenign only at work and I thoguth i was fixing it temporarly by rebooting phone. So they then sent me a replacement for that. Copied everythign over onto new phone (2nd phone from Asurion). And heres the crazy part, while I'm at work, the same exact issue happens! After I leave work, about 30 minutes later, the phone will resume normal functionality. So, I thought maybe copying from the old phone to the new phone, maybe I had copied something bad and something got corrupted. I completely wiped this phone, and sure enough, still does it while I'm at work. I'm at a loss as to what to do here. On both phones, while I'm at work when I press the trackball key to enter it types # *, and all the other disfucntional keys (b,n,m,del) t yped the exact same letters. There is no water damage whatsoever, since for 14 hours a day the phone works just fine. Then the 10 hours I'm at work those 5 keys don't work. I'm not sure what to do here, since if Asurian sends me a 3rd phone I have a feeling it will do the same thing. Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated! I'm also interested if anyone has ever heard of something simliar to this before.

How strange that things should only go awry at your work. The fact that the same thing happens on two different Berries, even after you wiped and installed a fresh OS on the last one, and all in the same place, makes it seem that it has to be something in your work environment causing the problem, perhaps some kind of electromagnetic interference? That's the only thing I could guess.
