Try a smc, then the pram reset. If still no joy, you might want to take it to the Apple store. Also look in the headphone jack and see if there is a red light on.

A reset has nothing to do with Internet access or data access.
A reset is simply pressing and holding the home and power buttons until the white Apple logo appears.

hey guys. I am having trouble with my internet. My MacBook Pro seems to be connected with Belkin wireless router, but the internet would not work. We recently changed the router so its pretty new, and it used to work on my HP laptop. Although there were some problems, it still worked. But now, the internet works and stops suddenly, and then works again.
I would love to hear some suggestions to get rid of this.

I think I may have a virus! My keyboard is not working properly. When I press the zero key, it doesn't appear. Other keys that do not work include the directional keys, delete key, and others. No need to take the computer at this stage. Just take the keyboard into your local Apple store for examination. If you have another machine, not necessarily Apple, you could try the board on that or perhaps a friend's machine … they are largely universal.

Am using a MacBook. It was working perfectly before i plug in a Non Apple USB standard keyboard
into it. when i did that,an error occurred like "please pressing the just after the Right Shift Key Button"
but there was not such kind of button on that keyboard.so i pressed the Shift key instead.
it works that time,but after some time i discovered that,my build in track pad and build in keyboard
stop responding permanently. Now i have to use my MacBook using both USB mouse and keyboard.

I don't have an answer, but have suddenly developed a similar problem. Early today we got a new Verizon FIOS router to replace an older one. Once the tech fired the thing up and we got everything in the house logged into it, I noticed that my iPhone 4S wifi speed was mighty low. Using the Speed Test app, I was getting a wavering average of between 4 and 7 Mbps. Even on the old router I was usually getting 20-30 Mbps. I checked all the other devices in my house and noted all were getting at least 25-35 Mbps--including my wife's iPhone 4S, my kids iPod 5, and our iPad 2. The wired Windows desktop gets more than 60 Mbps and the wireless laptop gets more than 40. I tried all the tricks on my iPhone--restarting, forgetting the network and the resetting it, and even resetting all of the network settings. Nothing gets me any faster, yet my wife's iPhone 4s blazes away at 25-35+. I even went into the router and played with disabling WMM and switching (briefly) to b/g mode. No luck. Finally, I decided to take out the new router and put back the old one--the verizon tech was nice enough to leave the old one with me--but my speed did not increase one iota. I'm stumped. It worked fine two days ago, and all of our other Apple devices (including an identical iPhone 4S) are fine and run at super speeds. What happened to my phone?

HT1665 I just purchassed a Lightning adapter for my iPhone 5. My car came with the normal iphone 4 connector. I have a protective cover on my phone but now the connector will not work as the lightning connecting tong is not long enough to make contact.

I check for updates, then it checks, then says it's up to date but it isn't!! Still got the old iTunes! Have tried the download in www.itunes.com, I press download and 2 seconds later it says thankyou, but there's nothing there! Have tried from another link and try to open it and it says it's not recognized. I think I'm going to go insane. I have been trying iTunes contact but I can't get hold of them! I just tested it (on 10.6.8) and it worked perfectly well, so it may be something on your computer. You could try creating a new user account on your Mac and using that to try downloading. You can then install on that account and it will be available on your normal one.

I have a split screen with two site. All the suggestions are not working.

Everytime I load Firefox, I get a split screen with two sites on it.
I have tried the resetting of home page and clicking off the icon to not show the site selection page.

I too am having issues. If you have the cover closed, open it, I then get two displays. I do not have mirroring selected. My system is much older than you and with a different graphic card.
