I have a blinking cursor whereever I click on whatever website, any suggestions?

Unfortunately I cannot remember exactly when my problem started, but it must have been around the time FF8ß was installed on my system.
Everytime I use FF now, I have a blinking cursor whereever I click inside a webpage.
It is extremely annoying, being "able" to click on any piece of text on a page and have that blinking cursor sitting there, which I can move around, using the arrow-keys on the keyboard, as this limits the ability to maneuvre a webpage with the help of these buttons as well as the pageup/down-buttons. It is like the whole text of a website is editable as if working on it in MS Word or a texteditor, but obviously without the ability to actually change anythign.
Problem also occurs in safemode.
Any help is appreciated!

it appears every time i click on anything. any suggestions? tru thanxI, too, have found Bridge very unstable. I find this to be extremely disappointing, seeing as it's literally the most expensive piece of software I've ever purchased for personal use. I've seen these two symptoms:
1. When running in full screen mode, Bridge crashes periodically. This happened on Vista, so I blamed Vista (of course), but even after regressing to XP SP2, I see the same symptoms.
2. Although I didn't see this on Vista, running on XP I see the problem described earlier in this thread, where clicking on a thumbnail displays the wrong image preview. When this happens the image displayed is one from a different folder! I solve the problem by clearing the cache, and it's OK for a while, but the problem keeps returning.
3. Even when exiting cleanly from Bridge (using File->Exit), Bridge often forgets where I was working in my previous session. I need to re-navigate from the very top level directory down through the hierarchy to my photo directory.
Again, it's very disappointing to invest so much in a single software package only to see such basic operations malfunction. -
When trying to turn off compatibility mode on my itunes i dont have a compatibility tab after right clicking properties. Can any one help???

Is there any way to change the feed in itunes? The only feed I have now is http://feeds.feedburner.com/CasaEgyptStation
I tried to restore the feed http://feeds.feedburner.com/imananddinasbroadcast but feedburner refused.
I know that I missed things up but I still have hope in working things out.

How can I remove viruses off my computer? I have mac OS X, but I clicked on a website on google and it didn't open. Instead the security program popped up and said that my computer is at risk of a crash and has detected several viruses!?!?! AAAAHHH!?!?!

It's probably the MacDefender scareware trojan horse. If you have this here is how to remove it.
1. Open Activity Monitor look for MacDefender process double click on it and hit quit or force quit.
2. Go to System Preferences, Go to accounts, Go to login items look for anything related to MacDefender hightlight it by clcking on it once. Then hit the minus sign to remove it.
3. Go to applications folder and drag MacDefender to the trash.
4. Open finder and do a search for Macdefender and remove anything you see related to MacDefender.
5. Open Spotlight (the little magnyfing glass in the menubar far right corner) and do a search for MacDefender.
6. Restart your computer and empty trash.
7. If you feel you need to have virus protection for your Mac use ClamXav. It's the recommended AV program for MacOSX. Hope this helps.

I have recently upgraded my iMac to 10.6.8 and now find that the upload photo to Facebook facility no longer works. I have reset Safari but this has not resolved the issue - any suggestions? I can click on the "upload photos/video" field and it takes me to Finder to select the photo - but on selecting the photo, the Finder screen disappears as normal but from then on nothing happens.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Now empty the Safari cache.
Back to the menu bar, click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now click Develop from the menu bar. From the drop down menu click Empty Caches.
Quit and relaunch Safari then try Facebook.
If that doesn't help, it may be a Safari extension preventing you from uploading content to Facebook.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall. -
I'm new to Macbook Pro, and never imagined I would have problems saving bookmarks when I switched to Mac. Any suggestions with this issue? I have Safari 6.0.4, and has Apple come up with a permanent fix?

I am using ethernet and am using a Linksys SE1500 5- port fast etherner switch, i cant seem to sign in on the apple for anything although I have accounts set up in itunes/apple and netflix . Any suggestions PLEASE have spent 3 hours trying everything I can think of. Any help will be appreciated!

I rented a movie in iTunes and connected my iPad to transfer the movie to the iPad. The rental section will not pop-up and I have confirmed the movie is not an HD movie. Any suggestions on what to do next?
I would ask iTunes Store support for help with this. You may never be able to get the movie to download on your own now.

Did you reinstall CS3 after CC?
For that matter, doing an in-place upgrade on the OS is always a gamble with Adobe programs. Reinstalling all the versions you need, in order, would probably solve your problem.
And you shouldn't need to save as IDML after opening the .inx in CC. -
Have an iPod touch 4th gen. It is completely charged, but once I disconnect from a power source it shuts down and then the apple logo just keeps reappearing. I have restored via iTunes and reset all the settings. Any suggestions?
If you restored to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes (Not via Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting) and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.
