I have a button on my ipod that won't work anymore. How do I fix it?

I have a ipod nano here, the newset one, (6th generation) and it will not work. I don't really know what happened to it, but the button on the right is broke and is like pushed in to far.The ipod is about 2 years old. We got it in Febuary 2011 and no problems have occured since then. I don't know if I should send it to apple or not, so I need help! Thanks.

i have this problem too! the wake/sleep button is apperantly jammed, Apple dont seem to be doing anything about it sadly.

- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so. There is a little switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted.

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings

- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack.

My ipod classic has started making a mewing sound and all it does is scroll through the songs. It will not play except when connected to my computer. I tried resyncing and that did not work. How do I fix this problem?

Have you recharge your iPod for at least 2 hours, preferably till the Full charge Battery symbol comes ON.?

So my friend gave me her old iPod touch. (First generation) and before she did, she had to delete all of her contacts and photos. It was on a screen where it had a loading bar. I waited for that to finnish. After I did, all it shows now is the other end of the USB cord and the iTunes logo. I pushed the on/off button, and the bottom button. It won't let me use it. How do I use my iPod?

Try using RecBoot to kick it out of recovery mode. If that does not work, restore.

All of a sudden my Firefox brower will not open correctly. It keeps telling me that it is trying to restore the previous session, but it doesnt' matter if I press the Restore button or the Close button to try again, it will not work. How can I fix this?

After I hit the Close button and try to reopen it tells me that Firefox is currently already running and to either close it or restart my computer. Which I did, and it didn't do anything. Also, when I press the restore button, it will not restore, it just sits there. Please help, I hate Internet Explorer and I don't want to use it longer than I need to.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the files sessionstore.js [2] and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.

For those people that have a issue with MSI DVD that won't work right

I have an MSI K9 SLI Platium 7250 w/ an AMD Athlon X2 4600+ 2.4 GHz. I have MSIDVD that originaly came with my old Motherboard MS-680E AMD Atlon XP 1700+ 1.4GHz. When I upgraded MSIDVD wouldn't work right and every time I Would insert a a DVD MSIDVD would give a wierd error. But here a hint how to bypass. As long as you have MSIDVD installed you should be able to play DVD's through Windows Media Player without any problems, thats what I was able to do. Or if you still want to use MSIDVD, you need to download a program from AMD, here are the detales, I also done this too

My 4s has a blank homescreen, that is, no icons, and Siri won't work. How can I fix it?

I have a 4s and recently updated to the newest ios. Also, today I changed my homescreen photo and lock photo, and gave a game access to my photos. Tongith when I was playing a game, my phone became very sluggish and knocked me out of the game. It wouldn't let me back in, so I powered off the phone. When I turned it back on, the homescreen had no icons. It only showed my background photo, AT&T signal, Wifi signal, time and battery power. It lets me pull up the notification list and control center, but that is all. Siri doesn't work, either. I can answer calls but when I hang up, it doesn't dim the end button or go back to the homescreen, it just gets stuck with the caller's identity and the end button. I have turned it off and on several times, plugged it in even though it has over 50% of battery remaining, I have reset it by tapping the power button 5 times, and I have reset it by holding the power button with the home button. It hasn't fixed the problem. What else can I do? And, what could have caused this? I was just playing a game.

Siri, and turning Siri off then on again.
But after some hours, or by the next day it happens again. Hope this helps.

After updating to Firefox 15 on my Vista machine Firefox will not open. I have removed and reinstalled it but still won't open. How do I fix this?

If Firefox runs without problems, it could indicate that your firewall is blocking Firefox.
