I have a cable that's connects to fr my phone to tv. I can't see fb but I can see videos. I want to see Facebook on my tv
I have a after market cable that connects my iPhone to my tv. I have downloaded the TVOut app. I can view music videos I can listen to pandora through my tv. But I can't view Facebook or other apps like YouTube on my tv screen by way of my phone.
The app must support video out and Facebook simply does not.

Having a problem with a iPhone 3GS. When I try to back it up on my pc or laptop it has a error message. We have other iPhones that will connect when plugged in. I need to back up my data on this iPhone so it can be serviced. Can anyone help?
Try a quick reset of the phone first. If it still doesn't work, go to Edit/Preferences/Devices in itunes and delete the old backup for the 3GS.

i currently have an iphone that i connect to my mac air to download music, i have now bought a nano for my wife can we use both devices on the same air without any problems???
My wife and I both have the iPhone 4 and it's actually pretty simple. Add another user on your MBA (her) and she can use the other iTunes when she is logged in. The iTunes is empty and will erase her iPhone, so be sure that she syncs her iPhone, then back up her library onto a portable media device like I did (SD Card) and reload it onto her empty iTunes on your MBA before she attempts to sync with it.

i have missing songs that i purchased on my old iphone. they are not in my purchased folder. but in itunes store when i look the song up, it has the purchased logo next to it.... but no way to download it
If the songs are still on your ipod, make sure autosync is disabled in iTunes on your computer, connect and right click on it in the device list, then choose "transfer purchases" to copy all bought media and apps from your ipod to your computer.
If the songs are not on your computer and got deleted from your ipod as well, you can't get them back, unless you have a backup of your iTunes library as part of your computer backup. -

Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried, until the problem is resolved.
Step 1
Restart the router. Many problems are solved that way.
Step 2
Change the name of the wireless network, if applicable, to eliminate any characters other than letters and digits. You do that on your router via its web page, if it's not an Apple device, or via AirPort Utility, if it is an Apple device.
Step 3
Run the Network Diagnostics assistant.
Step 4
Back up all data.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Enter the name of your wireless network in the search box. You should have one or more "AirPort network password" items with that name. Make a note of the name and password, then delete all the items. Quit Keychain Access. Turn Wi-Fi off and then back on. Reconnect to the network.

Make a note of all your settings for Wi-Fi in the Network preference pane, then delete the connection from the connection list and recreate it with the same settings. I have a document that I wrote today on my phone, went to open it again and the app kept crashing or it would only open half the file. Is anyone else having this issue? On the preview it shoes the whole file, but when I open it only shows a few paragraphs. When I email the file it only shows a few paragraphs, but when I go to open it both on my ipad and iphone it crashes the app.
Everything is up to date.I also have Jolly's problem. I found the iMovie 9.0.9 folder and tried to launch the older version of iMove. It would not launch. I removed all of the iMovie preferences from the Preferences folder, removed iMove 10 from the applications folder, and restarted my Mac. iMove 9.0.9 still won't launch and I can't access my videos created with the older version of iMovie. Is there a way to uninstall iMovie 10 and reinstall iMovie 9.0.9?

Apps are permanently tied to the Apple ID used to purchase them, and all future updates will require you to enter the password associated with this ID, whether you are currently using this ID for purchases or not. If you are being prompted for your sister-in-law's Apple ID when updating it means that there must be one or more apps on your phone that was purchased using her Apple ID. (When she synced with your computer it may have transferred this app to your library. It was subsequently synced to your phone.) The only way to stop the prompt for her ID is to delete these apps from your phone and your iTunes library and repurchase them using your Apple ID.
