I have a Canon MX880 printer. For some reason, it no longer uses the cyan color with printing. I have all colors except those that need cyan. The cartridge is full. Cleaning didn't help.

I know you mentioned already doing cleanings, but I wanted to recommend if you havent already done so to please try 3-4 consecutive cleanings for the best results. If you delete the backups it will not delete any content from their device, however the data will be removed from iCloud.
It will also prevent the devices from backing up to iCloud in future, unless this is re-enabled.

I have trouble reading in Black and White. On my PC I can change the background color (and I am not just talking about for a word or pages document) but for eveything so anything that was a white background I can put in what ever color I like but it still prints in Black and white.. I can't see how to do this on the Macbook air. on my PC I do this in display. Sort of putting colored film over the screen I dont know what to do. Can anyone help?

You may be interested in the 'invert colors' Accessibility feature. This can be invoked by pressing the Control, Option, Command, and 8 keys on your keyboard. This only affects your display, and does not have any affect on printed items.

Printing with the iMac -- "Color Matching"

I have an iMac running OS10.6.8 and I am printing photographs to an Epson 3880 from the photo editing software Nikon Capture NX2. In Capture NX2 I set colour management to application manages colour as well as choosing the profile to which I want the printer to print. At this point I also choose Intent and Black Point Compensation. I hit print and up comes the print window under OS10.6.8. Here I choose to turn off control of color management by the printer driver under "Printer Settings" from the drop down menu titled "Layout". When I come to the item "Color Matching" in the drop down menu I find that "EPSON Color Controls" is highllghted. But at this point I can deselect this setting and select "ColorSync". If I select "ColorSync" I then can choose from "Automatic" or any of the paper profiles I have on my computer. What determines which one I choose, that is which of "EPSON Color Controls" or "ColorSync"?
I was inclined to think that it was "ColorSync" and then choose the profile that I chose back under the NX2 print window. But this produces bad results. If I leave it to "EPSON Color Controls" I get perfect results (at least so far). But the name of this choice seems to suggest that the Epson print driver manages the colours which I do not want to happen. So I would like to understand what is going on here. What is one doing when one make the various possible selections that one can make under "Color Matching"?

So do you have any problems using the iP4300 to print from other applications on 10.8? Just trying to get an idea of your current setup.
I ask because Easy PhotoPrint (EPP) will use your existing printer - there is no need to create a new printer. So when you open the software and select to make a Disc Label, when you get to Step 4 - Print Settings, the software looks at your existing printer setup to check that you have a printer that will support CD/DVD printing (not all models of Canon inkjet support this).
So with regards to the problem connecting to the iP4300, is the software failing to locate a supporting printer? Can you give me a bit more info as to what is happening when you attempt to print a CD/DVD from EPP?

Thanks, PAHU, for providing the Australian site for the Canon driver. I have an MP500 and it still seemed to print fine after I downloaded Yosemite. However, as others have reported, the MP Navigator no longer performed normally in scanning. The "Save As" keys didn't align and therefore didn't work but one could still scan using an alternative method ("Scan with scanner driver" button).
In any case, my hard drive subsequently failed on this 2010 27" iMac and when it was replaced the tech installed Yosemite 10.10.1. Just tried printing this evening and it wouldn't. Advised I needed undefined "software." Got various error messages. Went to Google and read this and downloaded that to no avail. Tried the Gutenprint driver but it too didn't work. Latest error was "stopping job because the scheduler could not execute a filter." Had no clue what that meant! System info listing for the printer (under About this Mac, System Info) lacked any reference to permissions or a printer utility version (but I didn't notice or know significance of omissions). Finally I downloaded from the Australian site, just the print driver 10.51.2. The printer then printed!!! (The MP Navigator scanner remains flawed but works by clicking "Scan with scanner driver" rather than the normal way.) I'm holding my breath that things will continue to work.

It appears to be a bug with the current build. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next release.

Try clearing your printer queue. Double click the bottom button to see your active apps and scroll to find your printer app. Cancel all documents listed for printing. Hopefully you'll b able to print again. This solution worked for me recently.

I just used the "Quick Menu" in Adobe Acrobat XI Pro after wasting hours several days when the SSID and Network key/password were already activated and the Adobe software claimed no scanner was available. . (i.e., from the pdf file I created using NI). Hi cjvandeveer, The Windows 7 operating system has a mini-driver built-in for the printer. You can plug in the USB cable of printer into the computer and then turn the printer on. If Windows 7 automatically recognizes the printer, it will appear in your DEVICES AND PRINTERS window, and you will be able to print. You will then need to download the Windows 7 printer driver add-on module from our website. The add-on module will give the printer its full capability, but only after the printer is already recognized by Windows 7. First, to see if Windows recognizes your printer, please follow these steps: 1. Plug in the printer's USB cable into the computer and then turn on the printer. 2. Go to your START MENU on the computer and select DEVICES AND PRINTERS. 3. See if your printer is located in the DEVICES AND PRINTERS window. If it is not, we may need to run Windows Update on your computer in order for the printer to be initially recognized. Duplex printing with the MG3150

I have a 36 page document which is A4 in size folding to A5 and I want to print it out as a finished file and I was wonderig if anyone has any information about the duplex feature with the Canon MG3150. Basically the printer is printing both sides of the document but its printing it upside down so the page numbers are not following in the correct order. I think it might have something to do with the 'print both sides' option but for some reason I cannont get this feature to highlight (its always in grey) Any ideas?

Do you have iOS 5.1.1 on your original iPad? If not update the iOS.
You might also try quitting the app and then reset the pad.
Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on the app in question until it wiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
Still no joy? Delete the Keynote app, reset the iPad and then reinstall Keynote. You will not have to pay for downloading it again.
