I have a Canon SD 970 IS. When I try to take a picture it tells me the card is locked.

My Canon SD 970 IS is telling me my card is locked and I can't take pictures. The battery is fine, there's plenty of room on the card. Can someone please tell me how to fix this.

Unlock your card. There is a small lever on the side of the card, slide it to unlock position.

Hi, I'm not sure if I'm in the right community but when I try to take a picture I look at the screen and it has a white line going through the top part of the screen. There are white spots all over the lens. There is blue and red parts in the camera. When you move the phone the colors move around. The camera is very blurry and is not focusing.

Sounds like software - Hope you have a recent back up already as with this issue do not really want to make a back up of the device now.
Will want to restore the iPhone and after restore 1st set up as New and test the camera after setting up as new.
If good then can try to restore from a back up. If still good, good. If notice same thing with camera after restoreing from a back up when that back up is no good, will have to erase all content and settings and continue with set up as new.

I had a similar problem myself. This is what helped me.
I went to the App store app, scrolled to the bottom, logged out of the account, re logged in with my Apple ID. Then went back to app updates. Once I put in my ID password all was fine.

I would be concerned too if I was not able to gain access to my iPad. If you are unsure what your Apple ID is, you can find the steps in this article:

You can reset a forgotten Apple ID password by going to the following link:

Also, you may be able to skip the step of entering your Apple ID if you are setting up the iPad for the first time.

That's exactly why I cloned OS X 10.6.8 onto another partition of my internal drive before installing Lion - so I could boot to it and run things like Diablo II (LOD).
Old software can't be supported forever. I still have a G4 which boots to OS 9 bcause of things I like to use which can't be used in OS X.
It's a shame Blizzard elected to write the OS X front end for LOD as PPC software rather than as OS X native software. But, that was their decision, not Apple's.

The screen on my powershot a2500 is black when I try to take a picture. Is there a fix?

Several items to check:
Are the batteries fully charged? Low batteries can display photos, but may not have enough charge to snap a shot.
Are you using flash? If the batteries are low, it may take some time for the flash to charge up and display the scene on the screen. The screen will stay black until the flash is ready.
Are you outside on bright sunny day with polarized sunglasses on? Try without sunglasses on if this is the case.
Has the camera been dropped at all? Even a soft drop can loosen up the ribbon cable that goes to the LCD screen.
Are you able to see the menus? If you can, try a camera reset to defaults in the tools menu to see if that clears it up. You may have accidentally changed a setting that turned the screen when shooting. If not, remove the batteries for a few minutes then press the shutter button for a few seconds. Reinstall the batteries and see if that cleared it up.
If none of these work, you may need to send it in for repair. You will need to decide if it would be worth it or not if it is out of warrranty.

I try to take a picture using google chrome or Instagram(it may also happen with other picture taking apps, it might have to do with the camera app?) and it crashes

If the unit has NEVER been jailbroke, first try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless... Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, if you have IOS-7, read this.

When I try and copy a picture from this PDF the dimentions are reversed

I have this pdf of a map for a dungeons and dragons game I'm playing with some friends. The pictures on the pages are (for some reason) split into smaller pictures that I want to stitch together in photoshop late, but whenever I try and copy an image it switches the dimensions. Here: Dropbox - Thunderspire Demon Well.pdf is the offending pdf and here is an album of what happens when i try and copy the pictures: Messed up - Imgur.
I have no idea what to do, please help or suggest another solution to get the images.

Try taking a screenshot and then pasting it in PS and editing it there.

Try the standard fixes:
- Reset. Nothing will be lost.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

- Resore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod.
If still a problem you likely have a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

It sounds like you are trying to use a redemption code (alpha-numeric) where you are supposed to be using a serial number (strictly numeric). A redemption is normally used to acquire a serial number... the serial number is what you enter to activate the software.
