I have a cracked iphone 4s.

Since the price for an iphone 4s is only $99, would the price be $99 to fix it without insurance?

The $99 price is if you sign a new 2 year carrier agreement. The cost to replace the phone will be 199 for accidental damage.

To replace your phone's screen costs $109US and I don't see why having Apple replace the screen would void your warranty.

  • Are there any Apple stores in the Pensacola, FL are? I have a cracked screen and wanted to get it fixed or replaced.

Need to find an apple store in Pensacola area if there even is one. Have a cracked iPhone 4 screen and was wanting to get fixed or replaced.
    Thanks!

Genius Bar, includes a list of all the Genius Bar in Florida. ( grey box right side of page ) This page will also let you book an appointment for the Genius Bar; that way you can wal into the store at the time of your appoinment and get help right away.
Apple Retail Store, include the option to find store by zipcode. This would show you see the closest store on a map. If you click on one of the stores listed, then click on hours and information, you should end up on the Apple Web Page for that store. If the store include a genius bar, there will be a link on the top right corner of the page to book an appointment for the Genius Bar.
Service and Repair, should give you access to all your servicing options. If there is no a Genius Bar close by, you might be able to arrange for mail in repair.
What ever service options you chose, I would highly suggest backing up your iPad. Ether using a computer, and or by iCloud. Some times repairing a product means they have to swap out the product for a replacement.

  • I have a refurbished iPhone 5 (which I got less than a year ago) and the screen becomes unresponsive and there is a purplish haze that appears on the phone when I try to use it. Hasn't been dropped or cracked.. What could it be? help!!

I Have a refurbished iPhone 5 that is less than a year old (apple replaced my first one due to a battery fault) but this one has all of a sudden become unresponsive most times and a purple haze has come thru the background on the lCd. The cursor goes abit cranky sometimes too and jumps from Window to window?! It has never been dropped or screen has never been replaced either no exposure to water or sun. This happened after I upgraded to the new iOS 8.1. I don't think it was the update but I've never had good results from updating the iPhone anyway..
HELP?? I have an appt with Apple tomorrow but don't know if I can wait that long!!
    THanks in advance.

  • Is there any help for a cracked iphone after dropping it?

is there any help for a cracked iphone after dropping it?

If you have the new AppleCare+ service, then yes:
    http://www.apple.com/support/products/iphone.html
Otherwise, maybe. Regular AppleCare, if you have it, can't help you. But you might still be able to get it repaired – of course, any repair will cost you. Apple will replace a damaged iPhone for a flat fee.

If your iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad is Broken
Apple does not fix iDevices. Instead, they exchange yours for a refurbished or new replacement depending upon the age of your device and refurbished inventories. On rare occasions when there are no longer refurbished units for your older model, they may replace it with the next newer model.
You may take your device to an Apple retailer for help or you may call Customer Service and arrange to send your device to Apple:

  • Cracked iPhone 4s? Help?

I recently purchased the iPhone 4s about two weeks ago. On Tuesday I dropped it and it cracked just a little on the top right corner (white part) That was the only damage. This morning I woke up to find another crack on the bottom left corner (about an inch and a half long) I don't see how this happened if I never dropped it anymore? What should I do? Is there a cheap way to get it fixed or replaced?

Yes. Once you cracked it, the integrity of the glass panel as compromised. It may have been cracked there on the back side of the glass when you dropped it and it took a while for it to work its way through.
I suggest you get the phone replaced before the whole thing just shatters and falls out.

  • Cracked iPhone screen...questions re replacement

Ok Ive had my Verizon iPhone since February...yesterday my worst iPhone fear came true...I dropped my iPhone about 4 ft onto cement in 30 degree weather... Over half the screen was really cracked...I have a 32gb so I think vzw charges a $199 deductible...so I found this shop that replaces cracked iPhone screens...he told me the labor itself would only be about $30-40 but then he looked the part price up in his book up to his iPhone 4 CDMA parts guide & mumbles something like "digitizer" & blah blah then tells me the part would cost $150...I asked him what if I brought him the part would he still did it & just charge for labor...he was very nice and said he would do that.
Then I went online & googled iPhone 4 replacement assemblys & saw them for as low as $25 the I saw some for $55ish but nowhere near $150...is there a legit reason why he would charge this price...is the what an apple OEM screen replacement assembly costs, & I was looking at all non-OEM products? What are the downsides, if any, to replacing the iPhone screen with a non-OEM..are some of the features absent, like the oleophobic coating?
So I guess my question is what does an "iPhone screen replacement" assembly include? Besides the screen itself  & a "digitizer" (not sure what that is) and how do I know which ones are trash out there & which ones are good? Would you advise any non-OEM product at all?
Please give me any info you have on screen replacement packages, & possibly where I can purchase one that won't be garbage. Oh & also if it says it is meant for CDMA model...should I assume it is going to be the glossy version?
    Thanks!

So if I'm clear here you have thus far paid $109.90 for insurance and after paying another $199, for a total of $308.90 Verizon will replace your iPhone? Or, as has already been noted you can pay $149 at an Apple Store and get a replacement with a 90 day warranty.
I have no idea why in the **** you are paying for that insurance. I would talk to a Verizon rep about it before doing anything.
when you put it that way, yeah verizon is totally screwing everyone who has iphone insurance with them
this is right from verizon wireless website:
soooooooooo laaaammmmeeee.....I love verizon...but this is clearly called "taking advantage of ignorant consumers." When I had a regular ol' phone & even up to my blackberry it was 6.99/mo for the asurion coverage and a $50 deductable if damaged or stolen, which was totally worth it, but this is not that-clearly. gouge gouge gouge....prices ever increasing....& it's only up to the consumer to keep abreast of the price hikes....

It sounds like you have damaged more than the screen. Take it to your nearest Apple Storer Repair or out of warranty replacement.

  • Cracked Iphone 5 and broken lock button

So I have had my iphone 5 less than a year. A couple weeks ago the lock button stopped working, also my screen is now cracked. Can I get the screen replaced ? or do i need the phone replaced? and how much will it cost to either replace the screen or phone?

To do an out-of-warranty replacement of the entire phone through Apple will be $229 USD.

Yes it is done through iTunes. The iPhone will never show up in Finder as a device. The following is general information on iTunes sync: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1386 and the following is a previous discussion where the post by Andreas Junge helped others that had a problem syncing audiobooks: https://discussions.apple.com/message/20052732#20052732
