I have a daughter using Skype on her iPhone, is there any way to trace her activity, even if she logs out?
I do not know her user name or password, and she logs out every time she uses it.......just being a concerned dad.....

Err, why don't you try spend more time with her and get closer? Perhaps she might reveal who the mystery caller is or so if you ask **nicely**. Well I guess possible fear your kids have is the fear of *rejection* in a case where she might be contacting someone she thinks you wouldn't agree to.

yes it is very easy...
first of all your phone have to be all paided off.
if your phone is all paid off you can call your carrier (have someone who speaks korean to call) tell them that your moving/visiting your country and you would like your phone to be unlocked. somehow they do this over the phone and it takes three - four days for them to do this.
its real easy.
if your phone is not paid off you can just tell them that your visiting your country and you would like to use your phone there. -

Go to icloud.com. Log in with your Apple ID & Password. Go to the Find My iPhone section. Perform a remote wipe of the device.
You don't have to have downloaded any app. You only have to have enabled the Find My iPhone option under Settings > iCloud. If you did not do that, then you cannot remotely access the device.
If that's the case, then change ALL of your account passwords; email, banking, etc. All of them. And then monitor those accounts very closely! -

Jailbreaking cannot be discussed on Apple forums., except to point you to the following article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3743 which will let you know why Apple strongly cautions against "jailbreaking".
You could sell your current iPod and buy a new one, which will be able to use iOS 5.

When using an external (ergonomic mouse) is there any way to get the wheel to scroll one full page at a time? Much appreciated.
I can't use the keyboard to scroll. I need to keep my hand on the mouse, otherwise I'd never get anything done. Since I have no problem getting Firefox to scroll one page at a time, and I'm constantly jumping between 3 browsers, it would be nice to be able to scroll a full page at a time in Safari, just like I can in Firefox. The hard drive on my laptop died, so i have lost all my music. It is saved on my iphone, is there any way to transfer it across onto my new laptop? Or does itunes keep a record of my purchases?
You should be able to:
Backup the device to the new installation
Transfer your purchases into a newly authorized library
Recover any other media using third party tools as suggested in this post from forum regular Zevoneer
Restore the device from the backup
This process should switch the association of the device to the new library, preserving the data and settings in your apps.
May also be prudent to attempt a backup to iCloud directly from the device before you start... Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > iCloud Backup > On. It won't save any media but it would preserve the general account settings and documents in case anything goes wrong while you are trying to extract your other data.
When you get it all fixed, make a backup!

Hi. My mavericks is crashed and when i on my mac always showstha disk utility window. I do everything like repair and all but not fix this problem. I have no back up of my files. Is there any way to reinstall mavericks without erase my old data ?
To back up your data, either use Target Disk Mode and a cable from another Mac (which mounts your problem Mac as an external disk of the other Mac) and Disk Utility on that other Mac, or — and this is all assuming you either have a slow Internet connection and don't want to use Internet Recovery, or if you have an older Mac that doesn't support Internet Recovery — you can create a bootable USB key disk on another Mac and then boot your problematic Mac from that keydisk, then use Disk Utility from the installer to make a backup to another (external) (scratch) disk. You can also use that keydisk to reinstall OS X, to repair or to reinstall OS X.

Call Apple with the Serial and they will send you the ones that came with the Mac. Or search the Net.

The only way to locate any lost/stolen iPhone is through Find My Phone or a similar app. However, this requires that Find My Phone be setup/activated, on your phone, before it was lost/stolen. You would then login at iCloud.com & try to locate it. This requires the phone be turned on & have an Internet connection. There is no other way to locate a lost/stolen iPhone. Apple can't/won't help you, nor will your carrier. Report the loss to the Police, your carrier & Insurance company. Change all of your passwords.

Thanks but have tried that - When I try to restore I get a -50 error and into a loop of taking another back up. I took a copy of the back up before the IOS upgrade and have it stored on my desk top but I cannot get Itunes to restore to that back up
