I have a dead pixel on my ipad mini...   What do I do?  Only had it for almost 2 months.

Got my ipad mini on 2/24/2013 everything's great till I saw a dead pixel on the screen.  Is there any solution for me?  Apple should cover it as warranty right?

Please take not that there are approximate 800,000 pixel on an iPad 2.

  • I have one dead pixel on my iPad Mini, besides sending it back is there anything I could do?

On my iPad Mini screen, since I have bought it, there has been one small black dot in the middle of the screen (I'm presuming a dead pixel because its absolutely always there). And I'm not too bothered about it but if there was something I could do without having to send it back that would be great!
    Thanks

My iPad Mini arrived this morning with a dead pixel. I am going through the exchange process now. Hopefully the next one I recieve will not have this problem. Is this a popular issue?

  • Why is my mac so slow i have cleansed and cleaned it is a 2010 mac mini i5 but it runs like a 20 year old pc i have only had it for a few months and it was straight out of the box

I'm thinking that you have a > Mac mini (Mid 2011) - Technical Specifications because the 2010 model's only have Core 2 Duo processors and the 2011 had the first i5 processor.
2 GB of RAM is the minimum requirement for Mountain Lion, but it's hardly enough to really enjoy doing anything else.
see > Memory and Free Installation Guides for Apple Mac Mini
Plus I don't have any problems running Mountain Lion and a load of App's on my 2010 Mac Mini with 8GB of RAM.

  • How do I get my ipad charger working when i've only had it for 3 months

I plugged my ipad in when it said low battery. Then it got very hot and said unable to support this device. Then i thought it might be the outlet, so i plugged it in somewhere else. When I left in alone for about, 5 minutes and came back to check on it, The ipad was dead plugged in. I got this ipad in November and the charger came with it, the ipad was brand new and not used! So i have no idea why it is not working! and if anyone has any idea please help. Also I am unable to go to a store to see what the problem is, because of the current snow storm!
    Thank you,
    LOLAJEAN7

Not normal. Take it to an Apple Store for evaluation.

    In the meantime....
Could be the charger, cable or iPad. Plug the USB cable into your computer. It may say "Not Charging", however, it is charging slowly and will verify that the cable is good.
Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.htmlhttp://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. • My ipad air is giving me problems. It is slow, it turns off when I don't want it to. I don't have apple care but will I be able to a new one? I only had it for about 2 months

Can I get a new ipad air

You have AppleCare for a year included with your purchase, so if it's faulty, Apple will address it,
You could have returned it within 14 days of purchase.

My ipod touch 8gb won't turn on, recognize a charge and when I plug everything in nothing comes p on the computer. I've had it for about 8 months and took really god care of it.

    Try:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
If not successful, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

  • I don't know if it is my ipod or not but I have only had it for about 2 months and this has happened for about the last months and I don't think that it is the ipod so if you could get back to me as soon as possibly

My apps keep crashing and this has been happening for the past month and i don't it is the ipod is there and thing that I can do and I downloaded pictures and I can't delete them

Close all apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps in the Task Bar down for a second or two. Tap the minus sign to close app.

  • Will the Apple Store give me a replacement iPhone 6 the one i have now has a clicking noise when you press on the screen. I have only had it for about 8 weeks is it a manufacterin fault or what.

My iPhone 6 has a clicking sound coming from the top left of the device as if its no aligned properly with the frame.
Ive only had it for about 2 months, the iphone its self is in pristine condition no bumps or scrapes, in fact i treat it
like a new born baby. Will the apple store give me a new replacement or i am wasting my time i have got a clue
never had this or any problem before with iPhone's before. Its not something you want having paid £620 i live
    in the UK.

If they determine the sound to be a manufacturing defect, then yes, they will replace your iPhone with a refurbished unit of identical specs. The replacement will have the same warranty as your original iPhone, for as long a time as what is left on your iPhone's warranty at the time of exchange.

  • Got a "Dead" Pixel on my Ipad, How is Apple with these sorts of things?

Okay, I have noticed I have a dead pixel, its more of a bright spot on my screen, Larger then a pixel, its a small area, where its brighter then the rest of the image, on white backgrounds its really noticeable, like when reading a book. How is Apple with Exchanging it with a new one? I bought mine at Best Buy btw.

This is Apple's policy on computer displays. They may be the similar on the iPad. I would get it looked at. They may just exchange it, seeing you just got it.

  • Dead pixel in my screen? What will apple do?

It seems that I have a dead pixel in my screen. I have a keen eye for them as I have had to replace 2 LCD tv's because of this. Even though it is'nt a huge deal I would like it fixed. Any idea on how apple will handle this? Just replace the phone I'm assuming. Anyone have this problem also? What was the outcome?

So in other words what your saying is, there is a standard for how much your screen has to "not work" for them to care? And I read the pixel anomalies article by apple and it seems like a pretty BS way of getting out of replacing a phone. I talked to my buddy who is a TV salesman and he said it is rare to have this happen with TV's and when it does they replace them. Seems like apple should do the same. Hopefully I can get the issue resolved because this is
not the only problem. When I am in the recent/contacts section my screen doesnt work or jumps around (doesnt select where I put my finger, goes random).
