I have a Deskjet D4160 that has never been able to print envelopes. ,

It acts like it is feeding it through then it stops and I get a paper jam warning. I have checked with HP and the printer does have an envelope printing feature. Has any one had this problem or have an idea how to fix it.

Eject the iPad, quit iTunes, restart your Mac and reset the iPad and try again.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

My 6100 printer has never been able to print color

From Day 1 it has told me the blue (cyan) cartridge is empty, even when I replaced the starter cartridge with a new one, and it always says that the other colors are "low." I have been printing only black and white words on a page, in fast draft mode, but the one time I tried to print color it failed -- a yellow headline came out white, no color at all. It always says cyan is empty. Now it won't print black and white at all. Am I supposed to spend $50+ on all new cartridges every time I need to print something?
Also, is there some cellophane tape I need to remove inside the printer? I can see a cellophance coating on the cartridge carriage inside the printer, but there is nothing in the instructions that says to remove it.
The inability to print color seems a defect to me. Can I make a return? I bought it two weeks ago.

I understand you have not been able to print anything in color, and that you see a piece of cellophane tape inside. I would like to help you with this.
Please use the following document to troubleshoot the quality issue you are experiencing; Troubleshooting Print Quality Issues.
The cellophane tape inside the printer should only be removed if the setup guide instructed you to; otherwise, it is part of the inner mechanics.
I am not sure of the return policy where you bought the printer so I can not answer whether or not you can return the printer, but I can tell you that HP printers have a 1 year manufacture warranty. If you are still experiencing issues after following the steps in the document, call HP. The number to call HP is 1-800-474-6836 for Canada and US, or you can Contact HP Worldwide.

It's a phishing attempt to get your account and payment details, it's not from Apple - if you clicked on the links in it and entered your details then you should change your password immediately e.g. by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your iPad and selecting 'view apple id' on the popup and signing into it, via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes or via http://appleid.apple.com

You don't get a choice. If you decide to update, your phone will be updated to the latest iOS version available for your phone. For you, that's iOS 7.0.4.

The update to iOS 5.0 & higher is an erase/restore deal.

What version of iPhoto are you using?
Go thru each page, check the layout to see if there's a text box included on the page and make sure there is text in that text box. If not it may show the "holding" text like this:
If you don't want to change the page layout to one that only has photos and no text boxes just select that holding text and put a space in its place.

Yes, you're safe to continue. That means that there are text boxes that you did not put any text into and they contain the holding text which will not be printed. That text is shown in a light grayt and is in Latin. Normally you can just put a space in the text box to replace the holding text so as not to get that warning message.
Before ordering the book proof the book according to this Apple document: iPhoto, Aperture: Previewing an order in iPhoto or Aperture. Check the pdf file for any missing text or photos and any warning indicators in the text boxes indicating that some of the text has exceeded the space allotted in the text box.
Keep the pdf file to compare with the printed copy when you reciive it.

Have never been able to print

I have never been able to print through Bonjour to a shared printer connected to a 10.4 machine. Whenever I try, the print system crashes and the printer needs to be restarted, and then I must restart the queue on the server. The only way to actually print is to move the file to the server and print from there. It even crashes if I open the folder AFP and try to print while the file is open from the remote machine.
Is this normal? It worked perfectly under 10.4 and is totally broken under 10.5.

Definitely not normal. It would help to know the printer model.
Have you tried any of the other protocols to print from Mac to Mac? IP > LPD or IPP, Samba (Windows Printing), for troubleshooting?

How do I update my husband's 3G iphone that has never been updated in 2.5 years?

My Husband has never updated his phone since he got it in Dec 2009. Now his internet & any devices that require 3G or WiFi do not work. It has never been connected to an Apple ID, and never been synced with any account. I can't seem to be able to add it to my account to update it. Any help?

Connect it to iTunes. If it doesn't automatically prompt you to update, click on the name of the iPhone under the DEVICES section in iTunes, and click Check for Updates.

A few bugs thats has never been attended too...

Well there are 3 bugs that have constantly driving me up the wall. I thought it was just the iPhone I had, but since I have had it replaced 3x and I have an iPod Touch which has one of these problems also.
Problem 1: When an incoming caller has a picture with there information, the phone freezes and won't let me answer the phone. This has been a problem that hasnt been addressed since the earlier OS'.
Problem 2: When there is an incoming call, the slider sometimes jams up and won't let you answer the call, the only solution to this has been to stick in the headphones and answer your call through its mic button. This has been present since the earlier OS' too.
Problem 3: Relates to all models of iPhone and iPod. Music videos played through a shuffle sometimes do not show the video, however the audio continues to play. Problem present since FIRST OS.
I'm certain that many of you have this problem, and would like Apple to fix this hopefully in their upcoming OS'.

With music videos, they do appear in your song list, playlists and are played in shuffles. This problem isnt only persistant in iPod Touch, but also with iPhone. I have generally been able to play a shuffle and stumble across a music video with the video playing, but as i have said, sometimes only the audio will play and the screen is blank. If you think that I might be even slightly wrong with this, go into iTunes, buy 1 or get yourself 1 for free, sync it and try it out. Who knows, maybe this problem is persistant with the australian stock of ipod and iphone.
As for the first problem, all i can do is remove the photos from each contact to stop it from freezing, but then doesnt it seem pointless that the image option exists for contacts then?
As for the second problem, the slider lets me go to the end of "slide to answer" or "slide to view" but won't open once it reaches the end. I have spoken to Apple themselves and they looked lost for words.
