I have a different iPhone, and now it won't sync with my iTunes.

I had an iPhone 3GS, but my husband had a newer one, so he gave me his when he upgraded to the iPhone4. When we uploaded everything, it took it all except my music. Now when I try to download my music from iTunes, it will not sync with it.
No error messages
It pops up the box where it asks if you want to view folders, download your pics, etc. There is nothing in the box about music (iTunes).
I have rebooted my phone and computer. Downloaded the lastest version of iTunes, Deauthorized and reauthorized the phone. Not sure what to do now.

Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service.
Pictures taken with the device are designed to regularly be copied off the device to a computer as would be done with any digital camera.
If you have failed to use the device as designed it may be too late to recovery anything.
Is the device regularly backed up to a computer via iTunes? If so, the most recent backup (when restored to a replacement iOS device) should contain all contacts and pictures as of when the backup was created.

HT1212 how do you unlock your ipod..we have tried different passcodes and now is is saying to plug into itunes...guy at the apple store said to plug into itunes too...we have done this and still nothing....thanks still wont unlock..

Have you tried resetting your device: Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the "Slide to Unlock" screen redisplays, see if your issue is resolved.

I downloade some txt messages alerts a long time ago and no matter what I try I can't get them on my phone. they show up in iTunes but can't get them to my sound section on my phone.

Trying to sync my ipod with my itunes account on my new computer with no response. When I plug my ipod into my computer it doesn't sync.

How is your iPod configured to sync with your iTunes library? What options do you have enabled/configured from under the iPod's Summary and Music tabs? Perhaps this article can offer more assistance.

I recently got my iPhone 4S locked completly, and it says ''Sync to iTunes'', but here is the problem:
When I try to sync it, iTunes says ''Can't sync, iPhone ******** got a passcode. Lock it up, then it will automatically connect.''
You can't lock it up when it's locked, right? So how do I do?
Please help me, it would mean alot!!
