1) Connect to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and Restore

The simplest operation your Mac can do is start up with the Option key held down. The code is all in ROM. It uses a One size fits all resolution to light up the display and draw an icon for each potentially bootable Volume.
The most effective thing your Mac can do when confused is to start up using the Shift key. It does one pass of Disk Utility "Repair Disk" then boots up with minimal extensions loaded and ask you to login. But if your Mac is really sick, it may never get there.

You need to keep the keys pressed for several seconds. Close down Elements. Hold down the CtrlShiftAlt keys and simultaneously click on the Edit button on the welcome screen. Release the three keys and look behind the welcome screen by closing it. Or hold down the keys whilst clicking on the desktop icon for the Editor or PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe in the Programs folder. Keep holding down all three keys until you get the settings option. You should see a pop up box with the words: Delete Adobe Photoshop Elements Settings File?Click on YesThen wait whilst Elements rebuilds the preferences. Connect the iPhone to the compter you usually sync with
and use iTunes on that computer to do the restore.

Try resetting:
Hold the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears. No data will be lost.
If that doesn't work, just let the battery drain. Once you charge it back up it should work as normal.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.

Sounds like your iPhone was hacked to unofficially unlock it. You can put it in Recovery mode, connect it to iTunes and Restore it in iTunes. Then you will need to call AppleCare, give them the model and serial numbers and find out which cell provider it is locked to. After you get that information contact that cell provider and see if you can get it officially unlocked.

Hard reset by holding down the home button and the sleep/wake lock button (BUtton on the bottom of your display, button you use to turn the screen black) hold them both down for 15 seconds till you see the apple reappear
