I have a dozen or so PC Power photos that wont open. How can i open them?

I opereate an iMac desk toop computer. OSX 10.9.3. I have a dozen or so photos on my desktop, not in iPhoto dated 2000. I'm told i can't open these photos because my system no longer uses Power PC software. Is there any way I can open these?

Photos are not PowerPC, there is no such thing, It's possible that you have them set to open with a PowerPC program on your Mac which may or may not exist.
You said these pictures are on the desktop so select one and press control-i, an information panel will open, what does it say for Kind:

Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store (which I think is a requirement from audible.com who supply them), so they won't appear in the Purchased link for re-downloading. You should be able to copy them from your old computer (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527), or from your backup into your new computer's iTunes (File > Add To Library)

Go to Settings>Store>Apple ID - sign out of the account that you are currently using then tap sign in - and enter the information for the other account. You may want to restart the iPad before you sign into the other account.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

Just to summarise what's in the link above:
Method one is to have two Mac or Windows user accounts which by definition would give you two completely separate libraries.
Method two is to set your preferences so that either one or both iPods get updated with only certain playlists within one library. If you've had no success with this you can have a look through the guide on this page: Loading songs onto iPod automatically
Another option when using a single library is to set one or both of the iPods to manual update: Managing content manually on iPod

Ana Candano, what is your Aperture version? Earlier Aperture versions - until Aperture 3.2.4 had colored icons, Aperture 3.3 and later are gray in gray. Do you have two versions of Aperture installed?
When you post back, list your version of MacOS X and the versions of any Aperture.app you can find with Spotlight on your Mac.

It's a really bad idea to post your iPhone's serial number and I've asked the Hosts to remove it.
Any one device can create only three iCloud accounts. As you have apparently already created three accounts (or if it's a used phone the previous owner did) you cannot create any more one it. This is tied to the hardware, not the account, and there is no way round it.
You can create a new iCloud account on another iOS device or on a Mac, and then you will be able to sign into that on your iPhone.

We want to make sure that we get your phone up and running. Can you look to see where you have the most stuff stored at. Settings>General>Usage>Storage.
This will tell you what exactly is using everything. Then you can delete things from there.

Start iTunes, under STORE > iTunes Store. Click Purchased (NEW) top rght.
Note: Music is not supported in all countries. If your country is supported you can click Music, Apps and Books to re-download.

There is no syncing process to move synced photos from an iOS device back to a computer.
If you have only a small amount of photos you can email them to yourself.
There are third party applications available online, some free and some at cost that will pull pictures off your device and back to the computer if your number of photos is great.
In the past I have user PhoneView with great success.

Hi, first I'm french and I might not be using the right terms in the 'search engine' as I'm unable to find the answer and I have been looking for more than an hour...
I unfortunately saved my htm document on my desktop. After putting the file in its initial folder, I realize that all the link for my pictures were broken. I can update them one by one... But I happen to have the same image featured over 200 times on that same webpage... I'm sure there must be a quicker way to relink that image than doing it one by one.

You should be able to correct that from the Errors tab on the right-hand side of the site window. It should show up as a Missing File. Select it, then point and shoot at the correct image file in the FIles tab on the left-hand side of the site window.

As long as you have the files stored on itunes from your computer or backed up, you should be to connect your ipod to computer and sync your music back onto your ipod.

How did it get disabled?
Are these apps that you paid for or your school paid for? If they are yours make sure you have entered your AppleID in Settings > iTunes & App Store and download them again. You don't have to pay again.

No Flash for iPads, iPhones, or iPods
Here's why there's is no Flash available for iDevices or other mobile devices. Adobe was unable to provide a product that was suitable to the needs of battery powered mobile devices used for Internet browsing. Existing Flash technology used too much memory, ate battery life, and was buggy. Simply put Flash did not work well on mobile devices.
Apple's Steve Jobs led the escape from Flash dependency when Apple introduced the iPhone, and later introduced the iPad. There was a hue and cry over the omission. Time proved Jobs was right on target.
So this is why there is no Flash for your iPhone or iPad or iPod nor for most SmartPhones. Flash has been abandoned by many sites in favor of supported technologies such as HTML5 or by providing their own custom app.

Here is Adobe's later announcement to cease development of Flash for mobile devices: Adobe on Mobile Flash. Adobe is not providing Flash for Apple iOS devices, and they no longer provide Flash for any other cellular phones. Flash is officially gone.
Now, you are not necessarily out on a limb. There are some apps that can display some Flash, but don't count on there ability to display anything using Flash.

Also, note that many sites that use Flash provide their own app for accessing their material. So check with your favorite sites and find out if "there's an app for that."
