I hope that when I download a PDF file from service.sap.com, it wil not be called aefbcedf51dc6aEN.pdf.
I hope that When I download a support package from service.sap.com, the file name will have a meaningful name.
I hope that I will not spend days to find out where to download a specific support package.
I hope that I will use J2EE log files whose Lines length will fit my screen size.
I hope that I will get meaningfull Java Error messages.
I hope that I will find in the installation guides the DVD numbers to download.
I hope that I will not have to upgrade or patch SOLMAN each time I have to use it.
I hope that I will not discover that when I upgrade SRM, my company has to redo all the specific changes.
I hope that I will not discover that applying an ECC6 EHP is in fact a hidden release upgrade.
I hope that The Netweaver Java stack will start as fast as the Netweaver Abap stack.
I hope that service.sap.com will not ask me to send my client certificate, 30 times per session.
I hope that service.sap.com will be stable and fast.
I hope that SDN forums will not crash.
I hope that Microsoft Office patches will not destroy SAP BEX each time.
I hope that there will be no more dual stack based SAP products.
I hope that SAP developpers will make their choice between Abap or JAva Webdynpro.
I hope that the SAP Software products TCO will stop to increase.
I hope that SAP developpers will finally understand ergonomy from an end user point of view.
I hope that non Unicode ECC6 will be able to display the Euro Symbol.
I hope that there will be a real SAP ESS installation guide.
I hope that I will not need to use 3 or 4 different UI technologies to administrate PI.
I hope that SDN users will do their own research before asking basic questions already answered many times.
I hope that All European SAP jobs will not be offshored.
I hope that SAP support will not bounce my message with the note I just told them is not applicable in my system.
And finally...
I hope that I will still enjoy my job as a SAP admin as I did this year !

Hello all , perhaps I'm posting the thread into the correct thread category , I'm really new in SAP and currently starting to put my interest into SAP . I'm currently doing IT Support (Unix Support). Previously I have no ideas about SAP and from my knowledge , jumping into sap is too costly until I found about getting to SAP academy through E-Learning which cost half of the actual normal classroom method of getting SAP certification . And obviously it pulled my interest . A few opinion and advices I would like to gather :
1) Do you think that it worth for me to spend money for SAP certification ?
2) What is the career prospect of an SAP certified ?
3) What is normally the routine of the SAP consultant ? in term of the job dsecription .. I don have any ideas what is the scope of a SAP consultant .
4) Is the SAP job marketable ? internationally ?
5) What is the possibly of getting job for a newly certified SAP w/out experience
6) Which is the best module that I should enroll for the certification ?
7) What is normally market price for the SAP certified salary .
What is other tips/advice from you for me before i start investing on getting on the SAP certification . Many thanks in advance for the advices .

Good depending on your previous work experience

This is always dependent on 3 things:
1) Your academic qualifications
2) Your professionsal experience
3) Your interest
7) What is normally market price for the SAP certified salary .
Depends on your experience and as you are from IT market it varies a lot depending on your experience and the requirement of the company

I have a one year old Macbook Air 13. I have a brand new 22" external monitor. In turning the Macbook and monitor on, the monitor displays very well, but within a few minutes it begins this incessant blinking (temporary black out of the screen that lasts anywhere from 1-5 seconds). This has been going on for a long time (it also happended with my older monitor which apparantly I threw out when I should have kept it thinking it was the problem). From reading various blogs in the Apple support community, this appears to be a widespread problem, but I don't find a solution, only a lot of speculation. I'm very surprised the Apple folks haven't figured this out. As a new Apple user, heretofor, I have been very impressed with the support and effort to get fixes out to users. This, however, has me frustrated to the point of junking my Mac and going back to a PC. I love the Macbook Air and most of the functionality, but I cannot function without an external monitor. Anybody have any ideas, please help. Frustrated, Jim

Your dsplay is getting extended onto the external monitor. Chcnage the setting to duplicate it or only display on the external monitor and you should be fine,

I have searched high and low and there does not seem to be a way to authorize the iPod Classic. What can I do to sync my purchases to my iPod? I have tried reformatting/restoring it as suggested. It continues to only allow me to sync non-icloud/itunes content.

Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
If so have you done anything like update iTunes on the computer since it last successfully synced?
Do the songs play in iTunes?

I use drafts to store documents and sent in a leser capacity - Ihave huge data in drafts. Tried to restore using time machine (never had to before). The backups are there but the restore button does not highlight??? So when you clickit nothing happens.

Restoring Mail is complex. Luckily, the late James Pond left us an illustrated guide:

When something that used to work stops doing so, the most likely culprit is corrupt preferences. Go to HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences, delete the com.apple.iwork.pages.plist file & then restart Pages. In Finder, hold down the Option key while clicking on the Go menu & your user Library will appear about halfway down the list. Or you can choose Go to Folder from the Go menu in Finder & paste this line in the box:
~/Library/Preferences

Apps are tied to the Apple ID that was used to purchase them and you will always need to use that ID and password in order to update them.
Saying that you do get to update them on your new details makes no sense at all.
