i just have bought my ipad 2 5 days ago and it has 1 dead or sleept pixel, what can i do?

There really is nothing you can do yourself for bad pixels. You need to make an appointment at your Genius Bar at your Apple Store. They'll check it out and when they see dead pixels, they'll replace your iPad. If you've already loaded music, pictures, mail, apps, etc., make sure you back up your iPad before going to the Apple Store. And make sure you write down all your passwords, etc., so it's easy to set up your replacement unit.

If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact AppleCare(or Apple ID Support), upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.
Once the operator has verified your identity they will send a message through to your device which contains an alpha numeric code, which you will need to read back to them.
Once this has been completed they will send an email to your iCloud email address after a period of 24 hours, so you should check that mail is enabled in your devices iCloud settings.
Upon receipt of the email, use the reset link provided to reset your password, after which you should be able to make the adjustments to iCloud that you wish to do.

Try resetting the phone. Hold the home and power lock button until the Apple logo appears.If that does not work, turn the phone off and take the SIM out and then put it back in.
If that still does not work, you may have a defective SIM, in which case you will need a new one from your carrier.

I face same problem, after creating Adobe ID and after installing Creative Cloud app, the installed Ps and Lr can't be launched... Lr at all, no action, but Ps works for a few seconds. I could achieve "system info" from help menu as follows:

When my phone was off it wouldn't connect to iTunes, i got it working now though. I just had to hold my lock button and my home button down long enough. Thanks anyways though!

Try emptying your browser cache more often. If you are using Safari, from the menu bar top of your screen click Safari > Empty Cache
Try a video on FB. If can't stream Flash content, back to the menu bar click Safari > Reset Safari. Select the top 5 boxes, click Reset.
If that doesn't help, try deleing Flash cookies > Flush.app – Flash Cookie Removal Tool For OS X | MacHacks.TV

Are you signed into this old ID ("email") in System Preferences>iCloud, System Preferences>Internet Accounts (Mail,Contacts,Calendars), or in Mail>Accounts, Calendar>Accounts or Contacts>Accounts?

I have tried to consolidate all my music files to my Itunes Media folder but it is still missing quite a few files. How can I fix this?

So I just bought a new computer and want to transfer my itunes library over. I went through the organize library option and consolidated the files to the itunes media folder, but when i checked the folder it was missing many files still. I tried to consolidate again and it didn't do anything. How can I fix this?

Just to clarify ... you still have media files that are linked correctly from iTunes (i.e., right-click > Get Info, File tab shows the correct location), but these have not been moved to the "expected" location - assuming your iTunes folder is in the default place - C:\Users\username\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music\artist_name\album_title - correct?
There are a couple of other scenarios in which iTunes may not be able to complete the consolidation process:
Some folders in the iTunes Media hierarchy might be set to read-only - to fix this, right-click on your iTunes Media folder in Windows Explorer and select Properties. On the General tab there's a check box labeled "Read-only" - click the box so that the flag is unchecked and the box is white. Click OK, and then OK again when the "Apply changes to this folder, subfolders and files" option selected.
Windows permissions issues are preventing iTunes from moving your media files (there's some anecdotal evidence of a change in this behavior in iTunes 12). See turingtest2's notes on Repair security permissions for iTunes for Windows for advice on fixing this.
Then try the consolidation process again ... if it still doesn't work as expected we'll need to dive further into details of how your media is currently organized and how the non-moving items appear in iTunes.

For Safari you could try clearing its cache and history via Settings > Safari.
For Safari and your other apps you could close them all completely and then see if they work when you re-open them : from the home screen (i.e. not with any app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of each app to close them, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Bad video - how can I fix it?

I have two tv spots sent by my client, a large chain of electronics stores. I need to use the clips in a in house training DVD I am creating for them.
My first problem is that both videos have some corrupted frames. If I play them in anything except VLC, the video goes very chunky for a few seconds several times. For reasons that I don't understand, VLC plays both clips perfectly.
Is there some way I can then fix the problem? I noticed VLC does have some export functionality but I can't figure out what settings to use.
Secondly, the clips are encoded as DIVX. Yes I know that DIVX is evil but this is all they can get from their contacts with panasonic and samsung. They have returned to them twice and have been told they can't send them anything else.
I can import them into after effects and convert them but I wonder why After Effects can import DIVX clips while Encore cannot. Why must I go through the process of rendering them out again in After Effects?
