I said everything in the subject except, if there is a status page printing capability how do I do it,

When I print coupons or e-mail from my hp psc 2210 all-in-one the font has changed to 6 where before it was size 10 or 12. I have made no changes in my printer settings nor any other changes that I am aware of. This happened after the latest update of Firefox.

I have a carriage jam on my HP Officejet 5510 which I cannot correct.. I have tried everything I know to do. There are two black pieces that will not spring down when the cartridges travel across. I th en get a carriage jam message.
Do these pieces need lubricated?
How can I get t hem to go down when the carriage goes across?

Psc 2210 all-in-one.

I have an old workhorse, a psc 2210 all-in-one. Can I easily turn the color off and on? Anybody know? Thanks.

Does the printhead take a swath and then delay 10-15 seconds before the next swath? Does the delay also happen when you make a copy? If so likely one of the cartridges has failed. Try removing the color cartridge and printing (not copying) a page. Does the page print at normal speed? If so the color cartridge is at fault and should be replaced. If not then remove the black cartridge, put the color cartridge back in and try printing a page. If the printing now completes in approximately normal time then the black cartridge was at fault and should be replaced.
If the failed cartridge is an original (not refilled or reman) HP and not empty you can check the warranty information as shown here.

This is likely caused by the failure of one of your cartridges. Remove the black cartridge and print a test page. Does the printer print at normal speed? Is so the black cartridge was the issue and should be replaced. If not then put the black cartridge back in and remove the color cartridge and print test page. If the printer now prints normal speed the color cartridge was at fault and needs to be replaced.

I have an HP PSC 1410v All in one - Windows 7 Prof. w XP compatabilty : worse: I can't save anything

In trying to salvage the editing program "Image Zone" express and HP Solution Center to do scanning and
editing, I upgraded to Windows 7 professional with XP compatability as I had read online, but it's
a complete nightmare.
The XP program cannot scan from the printer, (HP ALL IN ONE: HP PSC 1410v), I have to go through Windows 7 and transfer it to my "z" drive and work with the image there.
I had my computer salesman's tech at my vendors talk me through
getting a scanned image from Windows 7 useable in the XP mode / Image Zone mode where I could edit, but once I
was able to edit there was no way to save it. IT WILL NOT SAVE. I KEEP GETTING A MESSAGE THAT THE FILE
IS NOT CORRECT OR THE DISK DOESN'T EXIST OR OTHER SUCH MESSAGES.
sO IT'S USELESS IF I CANNOT SAVE MY EDITS. ALSO IN PULLING UP A PREVIOUSLY SCANNED DOCUMENT
THE QUALITY LOOKS INFERIOR AND WITH THE PRESENT SETTINGS IS UNEDITIBLE.
WAS SOMETHING LOST OR CHANGED IN THE TRANSFER OF THE IMAGE Zone 5.3 ? .
This was a waste of nearly $300 for me to go from Windows 7 to Prof. version wXP just for something that
doesnt work.

Indeed the provided functionality offered by Windows Image Aquision scanning is more limited and does not PDF support.
If you Have MS Office you might be able to scan PDF files with it in some of the editions (I believe MSOffice should support WIA scanners as well):
For example, Office 2007 can provide those capabilities as you may see within the linked document.
You may also check 3rd party software (as VueScan for example) which support your scanner and provide PDF and OCR scan capabilities.
For ink level, i believe the Extended Self Test report should provide the ink levels, however i'm not perfectly sure.
You may try printing a report as following:
Press Setup and Start Color . Press the Right Arrow to scroll to Model Number and Press Enter or OK
You will not be able to get any functionality back, as te device does is not fully compatible with Windows7..

HP psc 2210 all in one printer hung up

My HP PSC 2210 is stuck with an internal software hang up. It thinks it is printing a job, but there is no job, it also (correctly) wants to align the cartridges, but when I press enter to do this is says it is busy printing.
(I have cleared any print jobs from the computer print queue).
It will not copy or anything either , because it is trying to align the cartridges. any attempt to print test pages etc similarly fails, whether from the computer, or direct from the printer.
I need to reset the internal memory of the HP PSC 2210 in some way.
I have tried powering up with # and 6 held down, this effected some sort of reset, I had to choose the language again.... but I cannot get rid of the phantom print job.
I cannot even switch the wretched thing off with the power button any more ?!
any advice greatly appreciated

HP PSC 2210 all in one printer - slow printing

I have had this all in one printer for several years. Just recently I attempted to print two pages from a PDF file and it took over 1 hour to print. At first I thought it was the PDF but now I realize it is with anything I try to print. I went through all the troubleshooting steps and none of them have fixed the problem.
I have a Dell Dimension 8400 Intel Pentium Computer, Windows XP 4 cpu 3.20 GHz, 3.19 GHz, 1.00 GB of Ram.
It will begin to print but then it will take at least an hour to print 1 page. I have already uninstalled, re-installed, etc...

HP PSC 2510 All in One - can't get wireless feature to work with AE

I just got the Airport Extreme 802.11n access point. But I can't get my old HP printer to connect wirelessly. This is an 802.11b device and should be compatible. I can plug it in to the AE and it works, but can't get the wireless feature to work. Any suggestions?

Personally, I would connect it to one of the LAN port on the AirPort Extreme base station (AEBS).
If you do succeed in connecting it wirelessly, it will drag down your wireless speeds.

HP PSC 1410 All In One, have driver problems...............................

I have an HP PSC 1410 All in one printer that I cannot print items from my computer on. When I try to print something from my computer my computer tells me that no driver for the printer is detcted but when I open "MY COMPUTER" and click Devices, it shows the printer listed as operational and that it is functioning properly.

I tried installing the driver and couldn't so I called HP and found out the printer is obsolete and no drivers are available........ they don't support that model anymore , So I'm screwed................

HP PSC 1210 all-in-one pen failure issue

I have an hp psc 1210 all-in-one printer and recently replaced both print cartridges. Then, when I went to print it said that i had a pen failure. I then discovered online that this could be because of dirty cartridge contacts, so I cleaned them as instructed. After allowing them time to dry, I returned them to the printer and plugged it back in. However, now the printer will not turn on at all. What is wrong with my printer?

What application you are scanning from? is it Paint or Windows fax and scan?
Can you see the same behavior while using any of those options?

Hp psc 1350 all-in-one /wi fi enabling

I have an hp psc 1350 all-in- one printer. My desktop is a dinosaur and won't handle broadband internet. I now use an Apple iPad tablet on wi fi and don't want to purchase another printer. Is there a way to make my printer work on wi fi with my tablet through my router without a desktop computer. I tried hooking it up per instructions off of eHow but it my tablet can 't find it. Do I need a Driver or something else to make it work or is it even possible. Thanks for any help anyone can give me . Learnin.

Hi,
You will need an AirPrint enabled printer to print directly from an iPad or a networked printer to print from the HP ePrint mobile app.
I afraid the PSC 1350 is a USB only printer, it doesn't support printing from a mobile device as iPad.

HP PSC 2355 all-in-one Paper Jam Error

Hi. I have an HP PSC 2355 all-in-one printer that has worked well for a long time but when i switched it on today to do some printing, it made some strange noises and when i tried to print it sent an error saying there was a paper jam - but there was not !
It feeds a sheet of paper in about half way through then stops and the error is displayed.
I tried doing a copy, and the exact same thing happens.
Has anyone got an idea what has gone wrong ?

Print from Macbook Pro to HP PSC 1215 all in one on Windows 7

If I print from my new Macbook pro wirelessly to the HP PSC 1215 All in One connected to a USB port on a Windows 7 PC, the print job appears in the queue on the Windows 7 PC, the printer on/resume light starts to flash, the printer makes a few clicks, but nothing prints. Apple support say it's the fault of the HP driver. HP support says the printer is more than 5 years old, so tough, buy a new printer. Does anyone know how to solve this problem without buying a new printer ?

Does the hp psc 1210v all-in-one have the ability to print back to front?

My hp psc 1210v all-in-one is still working and it is driving me crazy that this printer doesn't have the ability to print back to front. I am also upset that there is no software to print double sided like with the newer hp printers.
Is it just me or would this printer be perfect if it had these features?

Printing back to front is actually a feature of the software you are using. You can do this in Word on your printer now. This link will go into more detail: "Printing Back to Front."
Lastly, two-sided printing is an accessory part that you put on the back of the printer to make it turn (called a duplexer). Once again, not a feature that can be added to a driver, or this printer for that matter. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but on the plus side, at the HP Parts Store, there are enough parts for this printer, you could keep it running for decades.
