I have a iPad 3 calendar problem

I have a iPad 3 and running iOS 7.0.4 and my calendar is messing around - everytime I open it, it suspends the calendar and if I reopen from shortcuts it just shows for a second and then suspends again. Any suggestions?

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

Q. I have an IPAD air having problems with my email deleting after a short while without command.

I've had issues like this before.
I ended up having to call my provide to reset the connection, which worked for a while, then quit. i then took it into my provider for a new sim card and had the connection re-established again. I haven't had issues since.
hopefully for you resetting the connection with your provider will do the trick and a new SIM card wont be nessesary.

Why can't I keep the event-dates I have listed on my iPad 3 calendar?

I've been using my iPad 3 calendar for my business appointments and special events! But some of the event-dates are kept but others just disappear specially the occuring dates!! This is very disappointing and I want to know what could be done to correct it... ... ...

I'm going to guess videos buffer for a while also...
Two possibilities, one is you should close apps on the iPad, the other is your internet speed is not able to handle the demands of a high speed device.
To close apps: Double click home button, swipe up to close the apps.
To solve internet problem, contact your provider. Basic internet is not enough for video games and movies. Your router may be old and slow.

I purchased an iPad 2 for my wife for Xmas and it did not come with iOS 5 so I had to update it......

Welcome to the Apple community.
If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact Apple ID Support, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.
Once the operator has verified your identity they will send a message through to your device which contains an alpha numeric code, which you will need to read back to them.
Once this has been completed they will send an email to your iCloud email address after a period of 24 hours, so you should check that mail is enabled in your devices iCloud settings.
Upon receipt of the email, use the reset link provided to reset your password, after which you should be able to make the adjustments to iCloud that you wish to do.

I have bought ipads for my kids, so far i can only let them use my apple id and this means that any apps they download sync to my apple id, the problem is that one game they want to play wont allow them to have seperate profiles?? can anyone help?

Apple has a reptutaion of maintaining a high level of privacy and security. This means that accounts are not meant to be shared, though they can be, and defintitely not merged.
That does not come without a price however.
I completely understand that the kids would want their own profiles when playing games, but app developers are required to follow apple's protocols in order to distribute their apps via apples app store and be used on their products.
I'm going to go out on limb here and say the apple has chosen to put the job of parenting in the hands of parents.
What I do know is that as the kids get older and everybody gets their own devices and accounts, it will be a lot easier and lot less confusing when everyone has their own apple id. (especially when they start having their own contacts, calendar events and everyone in the home is syncing to icloud)

Hi melbernai - not sure if you've solved this problem yet. I had the exact same problem recently with my 2nd Gen iPod Nano. I solved it yesterday by simply updating iTunes to the most recent version, after which I could get rid of the register screen. The only other thing I needed to do to add my custom playlists was select "Manually manage music" on the screen for my iPod, since it had been in an automatic synching mode since the problem occurred.

Have you charged ipad Try a Reboot press & hold power button & menu button hold both down until you see Apple Logo You may need to do this more than once. Bsydd uk

The HTC hotspot works fine with everything else I connect to it.

I have to say this is my first venture into Apple products and I have always wanted to get away from my windows based laptop to get a MacBook, the problems I have had (flash player etc) & continue to have (as above) are putting me right off swapping over. This does help me because I am pondering on wether to buy an airport extreme to solve my ipad 2 connection woes. I have an extremely old router dLink 524....but I have NEVER had any problems with it at all ever. My xbox connected great to it and netflix ran flawless through my xbox.....now I have an ipad2 and an apple tv and they are BOTH having horrible connection problems. I have read most of the forums on how to fix it by changing the settings on my router but since mine is so old I couldn't do some of the suggested solutions. So here I am debating on whether to spend all this $ on an airport extreme? I am just hoping that if I go and purchase this, my connectivity issues problems will go away like yours did. Just wondering if you have ATV as well and if the AE solved its problems? I have read about AE solving ipad2 wifi problems, I'm just hoping it will solve my ATV as well.
