I don't know what you mean by "poor battery life". If your iPad is working properly you should get 9-10 hours of life.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Right click on your device in the device list and choose "transfer purchses" to copy all music bought in iTunes to your new iTunes library.

I have three ipod 4th gen and the latest version of itunes has killed them all

can anyone help?
I have had to open the ipods reformat on a pc and reassemle
then the pc will see the ipod and itunes offers to restore.
I pick restore then it says connect to a power source to complete the update
I left it for a day and it still has the connect to power socket picture on the ipod screen
these were all working ipods until version 11 itunes

You should still be able to manually manage the music on your iPhone within iTunes. Make sure that when your iPhone is plugged in, look in the Summary tab to see if “Manually manage music and videos” is enabled and you can even you turn off Automatically Sync when this iPhone is connected. Take a look at the first article below to give more information on that. As far as your other questions about calling someone, I have provided two options for you. In itunes it is called syncing and you can choose exactly what content to sync to all devices and it can be different for all of them

Well, I spoke too soon. Yes, I'm using the same account on both iPads, but I just changed my password for the umpteenth time and now I get the disabled message on both iPads. The way I did it was I got the free app sync:stream from the App Store and then added my ipod to my ps3's Bluetooth devices. Then went to audio settings and set output and input to 'Skaggs iPod' you then open the app and it will be listed under music as a media service. You then go to all tracks and click copy (press triangle) it will then begin to copy all of your songs onto your ps3 via Bluetooth. I haven't tried but I assume the same can be done with photos.
