i have a iphone 4 and while installing a program it froze now itunes says it can not read the info on my iphone how do i restore from a back up i made this morning

First, prior to connecting your phone, open iTunes on your computer and disable automatic syncing (iTunes>Preferences, on the Devices tab check "Prevent...from syncing automatically"). Now connect your phone, when it appears in iTunes on the left sidebar right-click on its name and choose Restore from Backup. When done, you can go back and re-enable automatic syncing if you prefer this.

If you are using the same Apple ID on both devices, the Game Center profile should be the same.
Check out this information from the iPad User Guide. Try signing out of the Game Center on both devices and then sign back in with the correct Apple ID:

Sign out of the Apple ID on the device in question, making sure to disable the Find My iDevice feature.
Sign in with the new Apple ID.
If the intent is to sell the device, simply restore as new after disabling the Find My iDevice and signing out.

Adobe cc Updates not Installing on Mac OS 10.10. Everytime I try to install an update to Illustrator cc it fails and I have to uninstall and re-install the program.

After reading the forums I've notice that several people have been having this problem for a while now. The cause seems to be the deletion of additional language files. I do run CCleaner on my mac to keep it clean and reduce the hard drive space as I have a SSD as the main drive. Are there any plans from Adobe to fix this issue? It is really annoying to have to uninstall and reinstall the software every time there's an update. Is there any chance this will be fixed in the next update or 2 as I think I'm going to stop updating cc until it has been fixed?

Rudy_Two76 I would encourage you to disable the portion of CCleaner which is removing the additional language files. Many of the available updates do require these files. This is why they are installed to the computer at the time of installation. Continued removal of the language files will continue to lead to update failures.

I have my old iphone 5s and recently I bought a iphone 6. What I want to do is to use same apple id on both of them, but I want to have different apps and media on them.
I plan to use the iphone 5s as my 2nd phone, so I do not need same apps/music/movies/books on them. Any tips how I can keep them different? Every time I sync I have to manually select the books and music I want to have on my phone. I want to create two different profiles for my phones which will have different apps, books and music.
I do not use icloud, so that is not a problem for me.

You do not necessarily need to restore the device to factory settings, but rather sign out of the four services that utilize your Apple ID: iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, and iTunes & App Stores. Once signed out, you can sign in with a new Apple ID. For more information, see the following article:

When you connect the iPod to the computer either by wifi or USB, and click on the iPod under Devices in iTunes you will go to the various panes for the iPod. There are labled near the top of the screen from Summary, Info, Apps, Tones, Music, ....... Clcik on the lable to acccess/show that pane. If you click on the Muic pane there is check box for Sync Music. Under that there are circles for that yu dot with yur cursor to:
Sync the "Entire Library"
"Selected playlist, artists, albums and genres"
And a check boxrs for:
Including music videos
Include vice memos
You want to sync "Selected playlist, artists, albums and genres"
The Apps pane is sumilar.

How do I restore from a backup Firefox prefs and bookmark after a complete reinstall

My Mac HD software got damaged and I have to do a complete system reinstall. I have a complete backup using Time Machine and want to restore all my Firefox bookmarks and prefs, especially all the stored usernames and passwords. Where do I find the right files? I assume when I have the files, I just copy them into the new software, right?

My ipod won't sync and it keeps coming up with an error message saying "internal error" or it tries to get me to restore from a backup. All of my music and movies have been wiped from my ipod and the apps don't work. The backups don't work either. help.

I then unplugged it and plugged it back in and this time it told me that I needed to restore from a backup or set it up as a new ipod. I then looked on my ipod and all of my music and movies are gone though it still says that they are on the ipod in itunes. I decided to use the restore function and let that finish. After restoring it still doesn't allow me to sync or back up and The music and movies can still not be seen. I am currently attempting to copy the music and movies to my ipod though this did not work with my apps as they transfered but when I attempted to open them they just crash... If someone could please help me it would be great. It is driving me crazy.

If you get an error that says can't backup, try moving the existing backup file to a safe location and thry again. again. You can find the location of the backup file here:

Have managed to cure it based upon the following information received -
I keep having this problem with iTunes when I try to connect my iPod Touch to iTunes. I keep getting this error message: "This iPod cannot be used because the required software is not installed".
What I did:
Run the iTunes installer to remove iTunes, then install the 64-bit version of iTunes.
I have already done this required step about a hundred times and I am still getting this same error so if you have any idea of what I can do please help.
Solution
I was running the 64-bit version if iTunes, and I did uninstall and re-install just to make sure -- no luck. Turns out there's a really easy solution, I'll spare you the detail of how I figured it out, but if you encounter the same issue, here's the solution:
1) Using WinRAR (or any other decent archiving program), extract iTunesWindows64Setup.exe
2) Right click on AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi and choose Properties.
3) Switch to the Compatibility tab and check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" box, and select your only option, "Previous versions of Windows", in the drop-down box.
4) Click OK
5) Double click the AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi
6) Tell it to Repair your current installation
7) Done!

YOu'll have to restore, nothing else you can do.
If you have an older backup you can restore to that.
