You can not activate an iPhone without a SIM. If the phone is carrier locked, you must have a valid Sim from the correct carrier.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I have a iphone 3gs and it will not update. I have tried going to settings and it doesnt even show up the software button to check and see if I can update. I have also tried on itunes to see if i will update and all it says is "the version iphone software (4.2.1) is the current version"

I have tried to restore it a total of 4 times but each time a message comes up saying that an error has occured. I need to restore the IPhone in order to use it in my daily life. Can someone help me?

If this does not work, try to delete the iphone software file located in C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates to make iTunes download a new copy when you connect in recovery mode. Maybe the file stored on your PC is damaged.

Also, check your hosts file to verify that it's not blocking iTunes from communicating with the update server. If you have software used to perform unauthorized modifications to the iOS device, uninstall this software prior to editing the hosts file to prevent that software from automatically modifying the hosts file again on restart. -

you have definitely tried the correct steps, all you would need to do now is a back up & restore to factory settings. If after that the issue remains then you would most likely need a replacement unit.

You don't say which version of Premiere Elements you're using, but Photoshop.com was discontinued last year, so you won't be able to log into it.
As for exporting -- it's hard to give you specific information without knowing which version of the software you're using and on what operating system but -- which Share or Publish & Share option are you using and what is happening when you use it? -
