I have a itunes card that isn't activated and I don't have the receipt.

I got an Itunes card a while back and I am just now using it, it says it's not activated. I tried other questions and they said to go back to the store with the receipt, the thing it, I don't have a receipt.

the last version of Mac OS X which supported running PowerPC apps on Intel Macs was Mac OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard). If you’d like to play this PowerPC game on your Intel MacBook Pro, then you’ll need to install Snow Leopard on it and boot into Snow Leopard. (Note that the last MacBook Pro which natively supported Snow Leopard was the Early 2011 model.)
The game was almost certainly published before Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) was released, so back then, all versions of “Mac OS X 10.3 or higher” would have supported running that PowerPC game.

You could try to redeem it. If you have serial number and activation code, then you can contact itunes support to redeem it, if it has not been redeemed.

You will probably be asked to email pictures or scans of the card
and its code so be prepared to do this.
I had an iTunes card that was not activated at point of sale and
was able to get it resolved. I did have the receipt however. I do
not know if your lack of receipt will be fatal to the process, but you
will be no worse off if you try and you may even get your card
activated/replaced.

Also, the software is not updated as the computer hasn't worked for about 2 months.

You computer is probably perfectly repairable, but if you want a new one anyway, it is perfectly possible to transfer the data from the faulty one.
But it would be a mistake to simply put the old HD in the new computer.
These are the steps:
Remove Hard drive from faulty computer. (very easy on Unibody MBPs, do-able but not so easy on older MBPs)
Put it in a cheap enclosure
Connect it the new computer
Boot up new computer.
If the new computer has never been run before the Setup Assistant will ask if you want to import your apps, data, settings etc from either another mac, another HD connected to the Mac or a Time Machine back up.
Obviously chose the second option (another HD connected to this Mac) and follow prompts.
If the new computer has already been run (so Setup Assistant doesn't run when you boot it up), you will need to use Migration Assistant...or run the installer again so that Setup Assistant runs again.

When restoring from the backup, whatever is included with the backup from two days ago should be restored which includes photos/videos in the Camera Roll at the time of the backup along with all other data included with the backup at the time of the backup two days ago.

I have an SD card that my husband uses for a trail camera. The camera does not have a delete function for the pics, so I put the SD card in our MAC and we can view the pics but when I go to delete them it says that the files cant be deleted. What can i do

We put it in our mac book pro and can look at the pictures but when I go to move them to the trash it tells me that the files can't be moved to the trash because they cant be deleted. I have Nikon camera software on my mac and it pics up and asks if you want to import the pics and if you want them deleted from the devices afterwards. I tried that but I get a message afterwards that says that some files were not able to be deleted. When I go to check, none of them were deleted. How can I clean of the SD Card? AFAIK cameras offer their own built-in format utility for inserted SD cards. You should use that. Otherwise, refer to the manual that came with your camera to determine precisely how your SD cards need to be formatted to work properly. Personally, I'd suggest Partition Scheme: MBR, and Filesystem: FAT32.
Try to limit the number of formats you perform on the SD cards, though, as you're reducing their lifespan. I believe formatting causes re-writes to a portion of the SD card that has fewer read/write cycles than the rest of the card as a whole.
