Ehrn I try to connect I get the message that Kindle can't connect.
Also what is the router?

I'm unable to connect to Kindle & purchase books using the Kindle Windows PC app. as long as Mozilla 4.0 is installed on my PC.
I wasn't able to "Register" my PC (Asus Slate Eee 121). The app. kept giving me a timeout message. The app. had actually been pre-loaded by Asus.
After going through several install/uninstall cycles with several pieces of software, checking the registry, etc., I finally uninstalled Mozilla 4.0 and cleaned the registry of any trace.
After I removed Mozilla 4.0, the Kindle app. works fine with IE. IE isn't my preferred browser... . Anything to do with protection levels?

PS3 Freezing and can't connect the wifi

First of all I was playing Minecraft then I had a error code (forgot which one) and I was signed out of PSN and I my wifi could not connect to my PS3 and i did the connection test all over Youtube and for hours I was sitting in front of the T.V. don't know what to do. You say that your files is corrupt and it freezes? Maybe it could be bad sectors on the harddrive? Hard to say what's the problem could be though... Best thing to do it to evaluate what could be wrong. Have you tried to backup your game saves and formated your harddrive? Have you tried to connect through an ethernet cable and not WIFI? If it works through a cable it could be faulty PS3 settings or your router. You can also try to reset you router. Or shout down the router for 5 mins and start it up again. If you see that error code again you can also type it down and use Google to find any solution.

Try changing the channel in use in case you're getting interference.
If you have WEP enabled on the Internet Sharing it'ss worth disabling it whilst troubleshooting the connectivity issues.

Help is here to resolve this issue with your wifi connection 88DaveS. Lets try disabling your "Smart Network Switch". Select Settings> Wifi. The 'smart network switch' is in the advanced settings. Locate the Menu icon in the upper right hand corner > Tap Menu > Tap Advanced > Locate and ensure the check box is Unchecked next to Smart network switch. Let us know if this helps.

While she was in the airport in the US the problem started, and continued once she reached her destination. Verizon can't figure out what the problem is, and I'm wondering if it's a hardware issue?

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

You can do it with Leopard but it depends upon the iTunes version which you did not reveal. Also make sure you are looking in the right place for purchases.
Consider buying a backup drive so you do not need to do this again. If you are going to run old hardware and software you need to live differently because yes, at some time you will find your version of iTunes no longer works. You're lucky it still works with Leopard. As you can see, some versions still work with the iTunes Store but not for repeat downloading.

I have two Kindles. Can't connect either of them t...

I have plenty of devices connected to my HH2 (BT Infinity 2). iPad, iPod, mobile, laptops, ps3, all work perfectly. But my kindles won't connect.
These are two different models, a 3rd gen and the latest paperwhite. The 3rd gen was always connected via 3G, and I have no recollection of whether it ever connected to wifi or not - but today it will not. I bought the wifi-only paperwhite yesterday and it also won't connect to the home hub. It will connect to what I'm guessing is BT-FON, which shows up on the available networks as "BTWiFi". I enter my BTinternet.com address and password via the browser to access that, but the signal for that is very weak and keeps dropping out.
On both the paperwhite and 3rd gen, I try to connect to my wifi network "BTHomeHub2-LFFT" using the wireless key 41dj528ers (not real values). It tries to connect but then times out, saying "Your kindle is unable to connect to the wi-fi network[...]".
So far I've tried:
Completely shutting down and resetting the kindle and the router a number of times
entering everything right next to the router, with a full strength signal indicated on the kindle (still can't connect)
changing the home hub from b/g/n to b/g
changing from WPA2 to WPA (failed) and then to WEP (failed)
changing the band from automatic to 1, then 3, 6, 9 (all failed)
Anyone with any ideas?

I know this sounds obvious, and I'm sure you've checked, but many people err when entering their Wireless Key for the home hub onto a device.
Are you sure that you havent made an error with this?
Seems odd for two devices not to connect though

Try restoring your phone usng DFU mode. Here are steps to get DFU Mode: Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer. (some turn off iPhone here, I do not) Hold both home and power buttons for exactly 10 seconds, release power button, keep holding home button until iPhone recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode. Usually takes 10-20 seconds of holding the home button. If the iPhone screen is black (blank) the iPhone is in DFU Mode.

I am unsure whether it can be reformatted? On the summary when I plug in the ipod (pretty sure it's a nano 4th gen) it shows the format as Windows. However now I have a Mac, I can't access the music library on the ipod, and I'm not game to try 'export' as I don't know what it will do, and I won't sync as I will lose that music library. It appears you have the cell formatted to Currency, with the default two decimal places.
What I don't understand, though is how Numbers arrived at a result of fifty five thousand five hundred fifty five on your entering the exact keystrokes in Yvan's post:
an equals sign, followed by five ones, followed by a forward slash, followed by a 2.

Drag the Row and Column control (bottom right corner) to reduce the table to two columns and three rows.
Enter the words "My table" in cell A1.
Click on cell B2 to select it, then enter the formula

Place the mouse pointer at the top left corner of the area you want to include.
Press shift-command-4.
The mouse pointer will change to a plus sign on a circle.
Hold down the mouse button and drag to the bottom right corner of the area you wan to capture.
Release the mouse button.
The screen shot will be saved to your desktop with the name "Picture 1" (The number will be different if you have taken other screen shots).
POSTING
In the Compose frame, place the Insertion point at the location you want the picture to be inserted.
Click the camera icon above the compose frame to open the Insert Image dialogue.
Click Choose file to open the Choose dialogue.
If necessary, navigate to the Desktop and click on the 'by date column header to sort the files by date, most recent at the top.
Select the most recent picture file.

Once on the initial download page for your printer, please do the following:
1. Verify that the operating system detected in the "OPERATING SYSTEM" drop-down menu is correct, and if it is not, please click the drop-down menu to select your operating system.
2. Next, please click on the red arrow next to the "DRIVERS" section and click the MP Driver file. When you do, another page will appear giving details of the file you are about to download will appear.
3. Please scroll down on the Details page and agree to the terms of the disclaimer message to continue with the download process by clicking on the "I AGREE - BEGIN DOWNLOAD" button. After clicking the "I AGREE - BEGIN DOWNLOAD" button, follow the instructions to download and install the driver. No, purchased iBooks can only be read on the iPad. Of course, purchased Kindle books can be read in both places.

I am trying to move my Elements 9 catalog and files from Windows 7 to Mac OSX Yosemite and can't connect the files on the Mac.

When I try to connect the files to the catalog on the Mac, many (~9000 out of ~12000) files show as can not reconnect. Elements finds "similar" files (actually the files I want) but says they are not the same file. I noticed that many of them have the time parameter different in the file compared to the catalog. If I go ahead and say reconnect anyway, I get another error indicating the the data has been changed by two different sources. If offers the choice of overwriting the file data with info from the catalog (which loses the EXIF data in the file) or says leave the file alone (which loses the keyword metadata from the catalog). Is there any way to get Elements to connect all of these files while retaining all of the EXIF and the keyword metadata without having to re-edit or re-import each of these files? My ultimate aim is to then move all of these photos into the current version of Lightroom on the Mac.

You won't like this response, but there is no way to simply move any Adobe software installation from one system to another. In part, this has to do with the registration/activation infrastructure that Adobe uses. FWIW, Adobe isn't the only software vendor for which you can't simply move software from one system to another via various migration tools.
You must totally uninstall from the first system including product deactivation and then install on the new system and reactivate.
In terms of “fixing” your current system, I would recommend totally uninstalling the software (and deactivating in the process), reboot, and then reinstall from scratch.
