I have a laptop, not a Mac. I am trying to install the icloud, an it won't let me because of the administrator, what can I or must I do at this point?
I am trying to install iCloud on my laptop. It is not an Apple product. I keep getting a message saying Administrator won't allow. What can I do to override it?
You have to contact someone with administrator priveledges on that PC.

I have a MS Office for Mac CD, how do I install the software onto my MacBook Pro (Retina Display)? It does not have a CD drive.
If all else fails, try this. i used to do it all the time before. might or might not work with the new office.
if you have access to another computer with a cd/dvd rom, copy the entire contents of the cd on a thumb drive.
insert the thumb drive in your MB and do the install from there.
However, if you have the newer version of MS Office, Bandit's suggestion is much better. -

I have an iPhone 4S and for some reason when I go to turn my wifi on sometimes it's greys out and Won't let me turn it on so what can I do to fix this ???
If the steps in the article TJBUSMC1973 linked didn't resolve your issue, then the next step would be to have your phone serviced at an Apple store. Good luck

I am trying to active my iPhone but it won't let me because i don't have a sims card
I am trying to active my iPhone but it won't let me because i don't have a sims card. I just want to use my old iPhone 4 as an iPod.
You could ask a friend that has a SIM-Card or stop by an Apple Store. They may be able to help you. The card is only required for a few seconds, until the device is activated. Then you can take it out and give it back.

I have a new iPad Air. I am trying to install the FREE Facebook Appbut
I have a new iPad Air, I am trying to install the FREE Facebook App, but I keep on getting a popup that says to purchase, I must verify my iTunes account. I am NOT purchasing at this time. How can I circumvent this annoying popup, which only gives me the choice of CANCEL or CONTINUE. If I cancel, it does not let me install the FB. Thank you
even to install a free app you need cc info or redeem an itunes gift card.

Hi , i had my mac showing the question mark box. So i made internet recovery, and now i'm trying to download the osx lion on external hard disk as it shows , but its failing again, i dont know why
mamdouh elchami,
which model MacBook Pro do you have? If I understand you correctly, you have already made a successful OS X Internet recovery to your internal disk, and now you would like to install Lion on an external disk. Was it Lion that you had successfully downloaded and installed to your internal disk? -

Why is my iphone does not accept my apple ID when entered in itunes and apps in settings?
Is this a new Apple iD? If it is, and you have already set it up, then you have two options:
1. Temporarily put a Credit Card or Gift Card on the account to download the free app. If you put a credit card, then once you have downloaded the app, you should be able to go into your Account preferences and change the payment option to = None.
2. You can download the fee App, and then set up a new Apple ID.
Cheers,

I have had a number of problems since installing Lion on my iMac and am going to try reinstalling. I can't seem to find the recovery disk material from the App store. I downloaded it but think I should have copied the disk image rather than trying to open it as an App. You live and learn eh!
Will someone tell me how to get this. The Lion Recovery disk is accessed by booting while holding down the command-r keys. To do a reinstall you do need an internet connection.

It doesn't even let me download Empire Total war which is 13gb
First, the App Store will not allow a download that, when expanded, would leave less than the minimum amount of available space on the startup volume that Apple considers necessary, which is about 9 GB. The download is a compressed archive that will usually expand to about twice its size. Both the archive and the expanded files will be present at the same time, so the actual amount of space needed is about three times the size of the archive.
If you're trying to add a large amount of data all at once, and you get an alert of insufficient space, then from the menu bar, select
▹ System Preferences... ▹ Time Machine
If the padlock icon is closed, click it to unlock the settings and authenticate. Turn Time Machine OFF, then back ON and close the preference pane. Restart the computer. Test. -
