I got new hard driver for my MacBook I don't have the cd but I do have flash drive that has the software I need help because when I turn on my laptop it shows me a file with question mark how can I install the software from the flash driver?
Hold down the Option key while you boot your Mac. Then, it should show you a selection of devices. Click your flash drive and it will boot from that.

You might profit from a visit to a Minneapolis Apple store. With a brand new Mac, I think they will be most helpful - not just with transferring files, but with other advice as well. And I strongly recommend you invest in a back up drive. The Apple folk can help with that as well.

You will not lose everything on you phone if you backup prior to updating. You can do it maunaully (simply by syncing your phone with itunes) but when you update iTunes will prompt you do back up your phone anyways. After you've updated you can reload everything on to your phone with the itunes back up.

If they are still on the iPod then:

Otherwise they are gone and you will have to get them from where you obtained them before.

I had to re-format my laptop and lost all of the songs in my I tunes but have them all still on my I pod can I transfer my sogns from the I pod to I tunes?
CD's can only be played on PC's or Mac's (obviously). If they contained music in them, they will have to be downloaded over again. What is best to do for further problems ike this is to put those songs on a big external hard drive at about 500GB for $60. They work very well and they are time saving. Putting in multiple CD's into one big hard drive will work well. Unless you have the songs on your computer with another music player like Windows Media Player for Windows XP - 7, you do not have to do all those CD downloads. If you have them on your computer do this: File>> Add File to iTunes the drag a big box around most of the music songs and they will be uploaded.

i bought the elements 10 a year and a half ago. and i had to reset my computer. i didn't have to use it for like 5 months. and now that i try to download it from the adobe website it wouldn't download. it stop after like 5 mins or so. i still have access to my account and everything. through my account i still have the serial number for the elements 10. but i just want to know why won't it download.
p.s i can download other things on my computer without any problem. i have an asus core i7 with 1tb memory. pretty much all empty.Hello,

I live in pakisan and i downloaded ibooks and it's pretty awsoem but here's the catch it doesnt download books that r to be paid for but it does download the free ones. My cousin came frm the usa (she also has an iphone) and she didnt knew what to do she said that it works fine like her does but cant download the the books that r not free and doesnt even shows the books except for the free ones.
No, we told you why you could get the paid books in the Pakistani iTunes Store; because Apple has not been able to obtain the rights to sell them there. There is no "fix", in Settings or anywhere else, to that problem. You cannot purchase paid iBooks in Pakistan, and you cannot use another country's iTunes Store.

Do you have the purchased serial number? What computer operating system?
If you purchased from Adobe direct, you can get download installation files from "My Orders" at the Adobe web site under your Adobe ID and Password (http://www.adobe.com).
Alternatively, you can use the following Adobe document with links to the downloads....

(brought early 2004- the version with no control button) I can't find my manual or software CD for my Apple Display anywhere - I can't remember if the screen was even shipped with them. Because do not have this software I can't control anything to do with my screen e.g the brightness/contrast etc.

I have downloaded the OS X version, When I went to install it, but I got a message up saying the software was already on my machine. It must part of the Tiger OS, becuase I haven't installed anything.
I have a quick question for you . . . Should the software you put up for me enable to me run "Display Calibrator Assistant" in the System preference or is the software from the CD hidden something else and I am looking in the wrong place on my mac?
I did read somewhere when I got under the apple menu there should be a "monitor" menu - I don't have that but that maybe a classic thing?
