(The x64 would most likely mean 64 bit). It may be a Windows based application/plugin, but since I had never heard of either, I'm only guessing there. If you do a search systemwide for it and don't find it plus don't know why it's there, I'd say throw it in the trash (don't empty it yet - make a note of the file path just in case you do have something installed that needs it so you can move it back).
Glad to hear it's not a torrent; some people use those not realizing that quite often there is a price to pay for downloading stuff for free that costs money elsewhere - the software packages quite often include little "add-ons" = malware which you really don't want.

I have created many inbox folders on my laptop in my email. We just noticed that many of my inbox folders are showing up on his iPad in Notes. They look like "major headings" or "categories" for lack of a better term. There are no notes or anything under any of these categories. We've tried to delete these "categories" from his Notes, but can't do it. What's happening, and how can we fix this?

If you are using a PC, log on to iCloud using Safari (rather than Explorer) to reset the photostream. Then turn iPhone/iPad photostream off and back on. I was getting the same server error as you and this advice from another blog worked for my iPhone and iPad. But I still can't get photostream deleted from my apple tv. There does not seem to be a photostream on/off control In Apple tv 4.4 software. I tried switching the screen saver to one of the ones that comes preloaded on the device, then back to photostream but all the old photos are still there. what are the automatically created files iPhotolock.data, iPhoto.ipspot, and iPhoto.db?
what do they do? if i delete them while trying to reconstruct the nonfunctioning iPhotolibrary associated with them, will I cause trouble?

These are all part of the iPhoto Library installation. It is strongly advised that you do not move, change or in anyway alter things in the iPhoto Library Folder as this can cause the application to fail and even lead to data loss

SharePoint does not remove users from SharePoint permissions just because they were deleted/disabled in AD. This is to maintain referential integrity. In fact, when you delete a user from SharePoint, that user remains in the SharePoint content database,
just marked as deleted.
They do not have access to SharePoint given their account is deleted/disabled. But as far as automatically managing this, I'm not aware of a tool. On-prem there is Metalogix ControlPoint which does a great job of this, I haven't explored the O365 options.

After a little Googling, it looks like B.Media is a content management system from Wave Corporation used for making catalogs. Doubtful you'd be able to license it at less than an enterprise level.

I have a long list of Certificate Authorities (about 280), many of which are overseas, e.g. Netherlands, Turkey, China, and many others that are unknown to me. They do not appear to be related to any websites I visited. Are my emails compromised in terms of privacy? Should I delete them? Why do I need so many certificate authorities?

Sure delete them... but when you get email or try and open a web page that has a certificate from them you will not be able to open the mail or the web page without issues or making manual decision to trust the authority in question. The geographical location of the certifying authority is of no relevance.
The now defunct Mozilla Messaging used a certifying authority in Israel for it's certificates (Start) so if someone had deleted that from their settings in a fit of xenophobic housekeeping they would not have been able to open their web sites or read mail from their employees without problems.
Certifying Authorities form a chain of trust. They on the whole certify one another, but at the top of the certification pyramid/s there most be someone or group of someones who the program simply "trusts" to certify. Hence programs have a long list of pre approved companies that are allowed to issue certificates. These lists are constantly updated and should there be a serious security issue such as one of the authorities being compromised. The people at Mozilla will update or revoke that authorities trusted status.

I found very large "frame" files, what are they & can I delete them? (See screenshot). I'm a (17 today)-year-old film-maker and can't edit in FCP X anymore because I "don't have enough space". Every time I try to delete one, another identical file creates itself...
If that can help: I just upgraded to FCP 10.0.4 and every time I launch it it asks to convert my current projects (I know it would do it at least once) and I accept, but everytime I have to get it done AGAIN. My computer is slower than ever and I have a deadline this friday

The first thing you should do is to back up your personal data. It is possible that your hard drive is failing. If you are using Time Machine, that part is already done.
Then, I think it would be easiest to reformat the drive and restore. If you ARE using Time Machine, you can start up from your Leopard installation disc. At the first Installer screen, go up to the menu bar, and from the Utilities menu, first select to run Disk Utility. Completely erase the internal drive using the Erase tab; make sure you have the internal DRIVE (not the volume) selected in the sidebar, and make sure you are NOT erasing your Time Machine drive by mistake. After erasing, quit Disk Utility, and select the command to restore from backup from the same Utilities menu. Using that Time Machine volume restore utility, you can restore it to a time and date immediately before you went on vacation, when things were working.
If you are not using Time Machine, you can erase and reinstall the OS (after you have backed up your personal data). After restarting from the new installation and installing all the updates using Software Update, you can restore your personal data from the backup you just made.

Ok this is bizzare!
Thank you for your response, I went throught each and every step without any luck, even got the recovery programme, and painstakingly tried to sift through all that mumbojumbo to find what i needed. finally found the bookmark bit, but it had been fully overwritten :(, so on reading about previous ff versions, found the sqlite thingys, and they were relatively unscathed(partly written over, but saveable apparently TG), saved them to adiff drive, amongst other possibly good folders. Then looked up how to install them, and it said to close FF, and install to profile folder.
So i tried to close FF, and the original problem from a few days ago, where it asked me if 'i was sure i wanted to close this window as it has X tabs open', popped up again. This is where 'open blank page' selection was set, over 'open previous tabs'. Wanting to save that info on how to sort out these friggin files, I reset the Option to 'open previous tabs', and closed FF. After unsucessfully searching for the profile folder on my laptop, i opened FF intending to search online for where i could find said folder.
AND BANG, surprise surprise, the FF I had just closed with only tabs open about finding out what the heck to do, had disappeared, and instead my original saved tabs were up, and my bookmarks are there..... I am gobsmacked! what the heck just happened there???
I have made 3 back up in different folders now, of those friggin bookmarks. I am weary now tho of shutting it all down.... what if its back to the other pages I had with no bookmarks, tomorrow :(

If it's not available in your country and you do not have a copy of it in iTunes backed up on your computer, you don't.

Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried, until the problem is resolved. Some of these steps are only possible if you have control over the wrieless router.
Step 1
Turn Wi-Fi off and back on.
Step 2
Restart the router and the computer. Many problems are solved that way.
Step 3
Change the name of the wireless network, if applicable, to eliminate any characters other than letters and digits. You do that on your router via its web page, if it's not an Apple device, or via AirPort Utility, if it is an Apple device.
Step 4
Run the Network Diagnostics assistant.
Step 5
In OS X 10.8.4 or later, run Wireless Diagnostics and fix the issues listed in the Summary, if any.
Step 6
Back up all data.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Enter the name of your wireless network in the search box. You should have one or more "AirPort network password" items with that name. Make a note of the name and password, then delete all the items. Quit Keychain Access. Turn Wi-Fi off and then back on. Reconnect to the network.

Make a note of all your settings for Wi-Fi in the Network preference pane, then delete the connection from the connection list and recreate it with the same settings. If you are using cable and a Nethear router sounds like from the information you provide before your Airport setting are setup improperly. PPoE is not something a cable service would need to work. Fallow the steps I will provide bellow, I will add some screen shots also to assist if necessary.
1 - Open System Preferences from  (Menu)
2 - Click "Network"
3 - From the Network window you are going to wanna make sure Location is : Automatic and Show is : Airport
4 - Once the Show: Airport is select you should see a window like this, my window is selected for Ethernet simply because I am no longer running Tiger but the window will look the same.
5 - You will want to click on the PPPoE tab and you should see this
6 - You're gonna wanna make sure " connection using PPPoE " is not select, if it is make sure to uncheck this option
7 - Once this is uncheck make sure to click "Apply Now"
8 - You will want to click back on to the "TCP/IP" tab and make sure IPv4 is set to " Using DHCP "
9 - If the option to " Apply Now" is available again please click this
10 - Once this is done go to your Aiport Menu and see if your network is listed and select your network and eneter the password if necessary.
11 - If after these steps you still have issues I would recommend Power Cylcing your Router and Modem for about 5 minutes
12 - Make sure all lights are off when unplugging the Router and the Modem
13 - Some Modems have backup batterys so you may have to push in a tiny button on the back with a pin

How did I get IOS8 on my iPad when I never downloaded it (I do not have auto download)

Hi..all of a sudden I had IOS8 download only iPad mini and I never authorized it…I have manual downloads checked in my setting so how could this happen..

If you don't want iOS 8 at this time, do NOT press the install button under Settings/General/Software Update. Instead, go to Settings/Usage, wait for the list to partially populate, then tap "Show all Apps" and wait for the list to FULLY populate. Scroll though the list and find the iOS 8 update and delete it from there or else it will rob you of at least 3 GB of your storage space. At least this time around, apparently Apple is giving the user the option to delete the update. I have not verified this on my end, however other users have reported the ability to delete the download (as long as you have NOT installed it) However, they are still auto-pushing the update to devices *without the user's consent nor permission*. I feel for those who are on limited data and get this update pushed to them...Apple however doesn't seem to care.
