I have a lot of movies on my itunes library,when I sync my ipad2, how can I select which movies to load on the ipad?

How do I choose which movies to load into my ipad from my itunes library? Seems like everytime I sync, it loads up all the movies I have in my itunes library.

When connected to your computer's iTunes, select the iPad 'device' on the left-hand side of iTunes, and then on the right-hand side on its films/movies tab just select the films that you want to sync and then click the Sync button at the bottom.

The Sync button becomes the Apply button, if you change the iPod's settings in iTunes. If you are only unchecking songs in the iTunes music library, you click on the Sync button.
When you select the iPod in iTunes, you see the iPod's Summary screen on the main part of the iTunes window. There is a checkbox there for Sync only checked songs. Did you check that checkbox? If you want iTunes to ignore the songs you unchecked when syncing your iPod, that setting needs to be enabled. If you change that setting, you'll see the the Sync botton has changed to Apply. Click Apply.
That method of unchecking songs works, but it may become annoying over time, as you need to uncheck more and more songs. If you want advice on some other more convenient ways to make it work, you can post back.

With the iPod connected to the computer go to the Music pane for the iPod in iTunes and check the box that says sync only checked songs. The check the songs you want synced and click on Sync. For more info see:

Alternatively, create another user account in your computer. Install iTunes in that account with the library you wish to sync.

My ipod doesn't delete audiobooks I have read and are unchecked in Itunes library when I sync.

Audiobooks I have completed are not deleted from my ipod when I sync with itunes. Also, itunes automatically adds newly downloaded audiobooks to my ipod even though they have nor been checkmarked in my itunes library. Help.

What configurations do you have set up for syncing audibooks to your iPod? To check, plug your iPod in and head over to its Audibooks configuration tab.

Updating will not cause you to lose data but things can always go wrong. You should definitely backup before you update. I assume you have music on the device that was not purchased in iTunes and synced with a different iTunes library. You can transfer these songs back to your computer with third party software such as TouchCopy.

How can I select and move half of my timeline content to the right without altering anything?

I am having trouble selecting a good portion of my timeline (including everything, transitions, music, etc) and moving to the right without having some parts to be shifted to wrong palces. A lot of times the end of certain movies get cut off, so I have to strech the clip again and find the right spot I had before than I end up creating a much bigger mess. I cannot find a way to select all the clips I want to move and have them freezed until I drop the click of the mouse. I am new to this and have been watching tutorials at lynda dot com to keep up with ny learning. Any help would be very much appreciate it. Thanks.

Select the Track Select Tool (A). Place it over the clip from which you want to move everything.
For multiple track hold down Shift. Hold down the mouse and drag to the right.
Quick way is to lasso all the clips you want to move and drag it to the right.

In Acrobat XI, how can I select and move multiple text/image blocks simultaneously on the same page?

I work with student-generated PDFs that require all content to be within a specific margin range. Occasionally tables and figures are indented or otherwise spaced incorrectly so that the content violates the margin requirements. In Acrobat X, I could use the select tool to draw a select box around all of the text and lines within a table, for example, and just slide the entire table over a bit to meet the requirements without sending the PDF back to the author for a correction. This didn't always work, but often enough that I was able to use it on a daily basis.
Is there a way to select multiple (but not ALL) text blocks and image pieces on a page, so they may be moved simultaneously? If I have to select every text block and line (or every point and line within a graph) and move them each individually, this is going to be a nightmare.
