If I buy the newest version of elements for my new mac, will i be able to easily transfer the videos to the newest version i.e. will the new software automatically integrate the work done on those videos. What is your "Elements 2" - Photoshop Elements 2 or Premiere Elements 2? For now I will assume Premiere Elements 2 which had to be on some version of Windows.
What do you have from Premiere Elements 2 - project files (.prel) or exports to file formats such as .avi or .mpg or .mov?
Project files from Premiere Elements (any version) Windows cannot be used in Premiere Elements (any version) Mac.
Video files exported from Premiere Elements 2 with its QuickTime choice (.mov files) would be likely to open in Premiere Elements 13 Mac. The other Premiere Elements
2 choices of MPEG and Windows Media would be expected to need conversion to .mov or .mp4 before import into Premiere Elements 13.
In Premiere Elements 13 Mac, consider importing the files from wherever you save files in Mac to a project with the project's Expert workspace Add Media/Files and Folders/Project Assets. I would strongly encourage you to set the project preset manually (File Menu/New/Project) to match the properties of these source files before import rather than let the project do it manually for you based on the properties of the first video dragged to the Timeline.

You have the iPhone in your profile, but people's profiles here are often incomplete or very outdated. It's better to be specific. And part of the problem is that I can't find any Belkin composite cables for connecting an iPhone to a TV, either on the Apple Store or the Belkin site. The closest I found is this Belkin video cable, which doesn't specify exactly what kind of connection it is.

I have bought a Macbook Pro Retina, and the iPhoto which comes with it, has a different iPhoto Book menu. I cannot see how to put text at the bottom of the pages of photographs, instead of the default place in the middle. Is there a way to do this?
There are different templates for iPhoto books and they differ from version of iPhoto to iPhoto, so explore the other options.

If you mean that the shows are still taking up space on the iPad - of course they will unless you remove them. Is that what you mean?
You can transfer them into iTunes on your computer and kept them there via File>Transfer Purchases while the iPad is connected to the computer with iTunes running and if the iPad has been selected on the left side of the iTunes window under Devices.
If you just want to delete them - go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Video>Edit and you can select the shows and delete them. You can also tap and hold down on the TV show icons in the Videos App and the X will pop up to delete the shows. -

Hi, I am using an old PC P2 450Mhz, 256 MB Ram. Is ver 3.6.16 ok for my system or will it slow down the system? NODD is the anti-virus. I am not happy with IE or goolge as these are taking too much space. Thanks
The system requirements for Firefox 3.6 are:
* Pentium 233 MHz (Recommended: Pentium 500 MHz or greater)
* 64 MB RAM (Recommended: 128 MB RAM or greater)
You exceed the minimum and are just short of the recommended processor. It should run OK but the only way to tell will be to try using it. Note that using add-ons can slow Firefox down, so if you start installing quite a few you may get performance issues.

You can use Microsoft Office for Mac, one of the free Office clones such as LibreOffice or Apple's iWork suite of apps. The iWork apps - Keynote (presentation), Pages (word processing & page layout) & Numbers (spreadsheet) are available individually from the Mac App Store. There are also versions for iOS available separately. And, coming this fall, iWork for iCloud.

Well, there is a whole world of free or affordable software out there like GIMP, PDPaint and similar. Otherwise if you want to stick with Adobe stuff signing up for the CC photography program would be the most cost-efficient way...
