I have a Mac Air with lion OS 10.7.2 I have firefox to 9.0 now I don't have Quicktime plug in my list of plug-ins. Is there anyway to get the Quicktime plug-in into my Firefox?

If you want to sync it to the iPad from that Mac, you need to upgrade it to at least 10.5.8.
If you want to copy the music to another Mac, you don't. Move the iTunes folder of the item in the Finder's sidebar over as you would any other folder. If you put it somewhere other than the Music folder, launch iTunes with the Option key held down and point it to that location.

I have years worth of music on my PC that is about to die. If I get an iPad is there anyway to get the music from my PC onto the iPad? I have the iCloud but my understanding is only music actually purchased from iTunes lives int he cloud. I have music that was legally purchased and loaded to my iTunes account from cd's that I no longer own. I need a new laptop and am deciding between the iPad and the Mac book. I use the computer for music, photos, and web - nothing else and nothing fancy. I don't know that there is a way to save my huge music library without saving it to an external hard drive and then loading it to a new one (does the iPad have a port to plug an external hard drive into?)
First, you would need to make a backup of the entire iTunes folder on the PC. You could get music to the iPad if the PC was still functioning, or you would have to move the music to another computer. An iPad is not a laptop, and does not have a port to plug an external drive into. You can sync music to the iPad from the computer, but you are correct, unless you get iTunes Match, you would need a computer to copy the music to and then sync to an iPad.

I backedup my iphone 4 to the cloud before upgrading to an iphone 5. I also backedup my iphone 5 to icloud. I can see both phone's backups side by side on the my screen on icloud. But it will not allow me to restore the iphone 4 backup to my iphone 5. I need contacts from the iphone 4 backup but I do not have that phone anymore and icloud will only let me restore the iphone 5's backups to my iphone 5. Is there anyway to get the contacts from my previous iphone 4 backup?
You should be syncing your contacts with an app on your computer or cloud service (iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, etc), and not relying on a backup. If you haven't been doing this, start now and then restore your old backup. You will then be able to sync the new contacts back into the phone. However, you will lose all messages, etc newer thant the backup.

Wow! You learned what could have been a *VERY* expensive lesson at a relatively low price.
Another poster had set an American Express account (unlimited credit, in many cases) as payment method for iTunes, and had given his iPhone to his grandson. The grandson bought a $300 zoo-something game. The other poster may or may not have learned from that episode.
The lesson is that children do NOT feel financial responsibility when happily clicking to get pretty pictures and fun games and "cool" songs. That grandfather could have been $80,000 in the hole potentially if the grandson went hog-wild.
The solution is two-fold, in my humble opinion:
Buy a prepaid mastercard with a $100 limit. Make that the payment method. That limits loss to $100.
Supervise your cildren when they use accounts you will have to pay for. -

Connect to the iPod to iTunes and restore it. Right click on the name of the iPod under DEVICES and click Restore. If it says it can't restore because the device is locked with a passcode, put it in Recovery Mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

If you want to create something like a collage or a puzzle iPhoto is not the right application.
Unfortunately you hav to use a seperate application for this. I'm pretty sure you will find a matching App in the App-Store.

I have collected alot of music over the past couple years and the new update for the itouch says that it will erase all music and videos on the ipod. To start we have several users and devices on our itunes account....Several weeks ago I was using my itouch to create playlists for a few aerobics classes that I teach. Right before I was about to unplug the itouch I got a notification that my itouch was full and didnt have any space left. Since I was done with what I was doing at the time, I unplug my itouch and figured I would delete unwanted songs later to create more room. A week later, I went to sync my itouch into itunes and over the devices it told me that it was named another device and wanted to know if i wanted to sync the information to my itouch I had just plug in. I had never seen this message before in all the other times I had used it, and at the time I didnt realize that it was giving my device the name of another user in my house. Without realizing it itunes started to sync the new information to my itouch. I immediately unplugged the usb cable stopping the process. I then replugged the usb cable in, hoping to get done what I needed to get done on my itouch thinking it might have just been a strange glitch. Also, since I hadn't notice any change on my itouch from the incorrect syncing, I continued to start itunes again. This time it asked me the same question as before "did I want to sync the information from another ipod?". Since I didnt notice any changes before I just let it do the syncing not realizing at the time that it was earsing all the info I had on my itouch and replacing it with info coming from the other users ipod.
I contacted Apple and they gave me infomation on how I could go look for my itouch under devices and get the information back. When I did this my itouch was no longer there under the devices and it was replaced with the new name that itunes had given my itouch. This device is one of the first generation itouches and has never been backed up that I know of... So my question to you all is...Is there any way of getting my playlists back???? I spend countless hours creating these playlists for my classes and have been completely out of my mind trying to figure out how I can possibly get the infomation back. Please let me know if you think there might be a way to do this!!!The devices that are listed are: 2 under the name of the device that synced incorrectly with mine and then 3 others that are not associated with my itouch. The name of the ipod, before the incorrect sycning is no longer under devices. It has been replaced with the incorrect one because I can see the serial # of my ipod under the wrong name.
The playlists that are in my itunes library are from an ipod that I used a few times before I took this one over... Which happens to be the ipod that took on the ID of my itouch.
Both of these ipods used to be my kids.. I used my sons a few times and then switched to my daughters. They each had their names attachted to their particular devices and now it just says my sons, which is the ipod that itunes was connecting to when all this happened. The really strange thing is my son doesnt use his ipod any longer and now uses his phone for music...So, it had been a while since that particular device was even synced to itunes!

Just sent in my daughter's Ipod touch 5th generation to be fixed.....They sent me a new one. Is there any way to get the contents of her old one onto the new one? I synced the old one with Itunes before I sent it in and backed it up on my computer.
Sure, as soon as you open iTunes with the new iPod connected, it will have a "Welcome to your New iPod" screen. Just choose Restore from backup.
