I have a mac mini with mobie me on it how do i get i cloud on it instead?
I am trying to get I cloud on my mini but i don't know where to get the software? My mini came with mobie me instead. Does anyone have any sugestions?
OMG, with all the Apple products I have bought and sold to customers (wont tell where I work-- not an Apple store) and thats the best solution? If thats the best I won't buy and will not sell another one to a customer again. I guess I will go to the apple Store here in town and hear what they have to say. My machince is only two years old (well close to it)! Thanks for the reply....

You will need to purchase a retail copy of Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, still available from the online Apple Store, and upgrade your iMac to at least the version. You will then be able to run iTunes 11, necessary to sync to a phone that's running iOS 7. Whether you can and wish to further upgrade to OS X 10.7 Lion or 10.8 Mountain Lion will depend on your specific model of iMac and your needs and preferences. I have a mac mini with my TV as a display. My display includes the taskbar but no menu bar, how do I see menu bar???Make sure you are using a 1080p capable TV. Some TVs have pixel level video ratio adjustment. Sometimes that can force the menubar to be visible if it is the only display connected to the machine. Sometimes you have to go to your hard drive's Applications -> System Preferences -> Displays and drag the white bar on top of the display's representation to the other display. You can only have one primary display with menubar.
Lastly, for non-1080p capable displays, DisplayConfigX or SwitchResX offer pixel level adjustments through software. -

I am trying to include a Mac Mini with a webcam/microphone to call several family iPhones 4S/5 usisng email addresses vice phone numbers so that we can communicate from outside the US via iPhone to the US (Mac Mini) via wi-fi and email addresses. We are using the same email address for the Mac Mini as for Itunes and made new email addresses for each of the iPhones. I cannot receive calls from the iPhones but can call the iPhones from the Mac Mini. what needs to be corrected?

I recently purchased a new Mac Mini with Lion installed. I downloaded the latest version of iTunes. Now I can't get iTunes to sync iCal from my iPod Touch (3rd gen) to my Mini. Everything else syncs great, and iCal syncs from my Mini to my Touch. My Touch has the latest iOS installed. I have tried rebooting my Touch, removing the sync calendars option from iTunes>Info and checking it again after applying and closing iTunes, and restarting my Mini. Any help will be appreciated!

I have just bought a mac mini and am trying to set up. The unit is asking me to swith on bluetooth keyboard via pic 1 then pic 2 shows another switch.

When using Setup Assistant to configure your Mac mini or iMac for the first time, the Bluetooth keyboard may have difficulty pairing.
Resolution
Use a wired keyboard to configure the Mac mini or iMac with the Setup Assistant. If a wired keyboard is not available, follow these steps:
Press and hold the Power button until the computer turns off.
Press the Power button to start the computer.
When a language selection appears, press and hold the power key on the Bluetooth keyboard so that the green light is flashing (discoverable mode).
Use the mouse to click the language you would like.
A code should appear on the screen. Enter the code on the Bluetooth keyboard and press Return. Note: No visible feedback appears on the screen while you enter the code.
The computer and the wireless keyboard should now be paired.

KevinIt all depends on how you bought iWork (no 's') in the first place. If you bought the apps individually from the Mac App Store you can download them again on any Mac running at least 10.7.4 you have with the same Apple ID. If you bought a family pack retail box, use the disk to intall on the MacBook Air.

How do I get past the login screen to pair my new wireless keyboard and trackpad when the old ones are water damaged and don't work
Have you tried pulling the batteries out of the damaged ones so that they are completely off; then shutdown your Mac Mini via the power button on the back right. Turn on your new keyboard and trackpad then power your Mini back up? The auto detection should find your new keyboard and trackpad.

Erased Mac mini HD to sell, but now how do I get OS X Tiger disc out?
I just got my new Macbook, used Migration Assistant to transfer all of my data to my new computer, and reinstalled OS X Tiger on my Mac mini 1st gen and erased its HD so that I can sell it.
Problem is, now that installation is done, every time I turn on the stupid thing it makes me go through the initial setup, with the OS X disc still inside. I would rather the new owner go through that, as this computer will be theirs and not mine anymore. Am I going to have to sell the computer with the disc still inside, or is there a way for me to eject the disc so I don't have it just laying inside there?That will pop out the disk.
When it's out, restart again, holding down the CMD+S keys. This puts the machine into single-user mode and gives you an Unix command line terminal screen. When the text stops scrolling, type in this command and click the return key:
shutdown -h now
This shuts down the computer; the next time it is turned on, the Setup Assistant will appear and the new user will get to personalize it. This also alleviates the necessity of presetting any display parameters, internet and e-mail settings, etc. As long as the monitor can hook up to the machine, the OS will select a usable resolution and the user can use the Display prefpane to suit their needs. They'll also have to run Software Update and bring everything up to the latest version.
Finally, don't forget to include the original disks and manuals with the Mini. -

I just got my ipod video, and i have already a ipod mini and i want to keep it. How do I use the same itunes for both? Do i have to register both and how?
use the CD you got with your new ipod and register it etc.
then make sure you have itunes 6 with video, podcasts etc.

your ipod mini will work on here too, it just wont be able to upload any of the videos/photos
and your new ipod should work too (once you have the new software)
you can share itunes with both of these and it'll work

Warne New Apple User.It depends on which browser you're using to surf the web.
If you're using Safari then open up safari, select "Safari" from the menu bar (hint: Next to the apple logo on top left corner of the screen) and go to preferences.
Then go to the security tab - show cookies - remove all.
You can get rid of individual cookies as well if you want to specifically delete a particular one.
You can get rid of all the browsing history and all the temporary data by selecting safari from the menu bar, select reset safari, make sure all options are selected and hit OK.
You're good to go!
