I have a Mac OS X 10.6.8, with built in webcam and mic. Recently none of my systems recognise/detect the camera/audio. Am not sure how this happened but am hoping to reset somehow to fix. Any help/ suggestions how to do this is greatly appreciated!

Try closing the Camera/Skype app:
1. Double-click the Home button to reveal the Task Bar
2. Hold down the Camera/Skype app for a second or two until you see the minus sign
3. Tap the minus sign to close app
4. Tap area above Task Bar to return to Home screen
If the above doesn't solve the problem, do a reset:

I am having trouble installing photoshop Lightroom. The program is installed and has some sections blocked off. I have the S/N #... I need it to be confirmed and activated so i can receive an email to activate the system to my computer. I am not sure how to go about doing so.
If you have a serial number, you simply need to enter it into the proper fields.
Since you don't say what version of Lightroom, and what sections are "blocked off", let me guess that you have Lightroom CC, and you need to enter the serial number to turn it into Lightroom 6. Thanks!Is there any critical data on the external drive? If not, partition it so there is enough room for the operating system and a recovery tool that you buy from the store on one partition, and enough to completely recover the contents of the internal drive. Partitioning is described here:

In the options section of the partition tab, be sure to select GUID for both partitions after selecting them. Once done, install the operating system on the first partition, and then install the recovery tool on it. Finally run the recovery tool to exttact the info to the second partition. -

Ever since i plugged my iphone into the computer, all of my music has been messed up. The songs don't have the right album cover i guess they all just got mixed up somehow. i dont know but its annoying and im not sure how to fix it.

My screen freezes after a few seconds on my iphone 5c and the display fades slightly so you can see faint lines in the background. I'm not sure whether this is easily fixable or a major problem. Have reset the device, but this has worked. Any ideas?

I am receiving pop ups to security sites to secure my files etc. I assume I have a virus but not sure how to fix it.
There is no need to download anything to solve this problem.
You may have installed one or more of the common types of ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it. It's been reported that some variants of the "VSearch" malware block access to the page. If that happens, start in safe mode by holding down the shift key at the startup chime, then try again.
Back up all data before making any changes.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those. If Safari crashes on launch, skip that step and come back to it after you've done everything else.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, ask for further instructions.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. It may have come from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. You might also have downloaded it from an ad in a page on some other site. The ad would probably have included a large green button labeled "Download" or "Download Now" in white letters. The button is designed to confuse people who intend to download something else on the same page. If you ever download a file that isn't obviously what you expected, delete it immediately.
Malware is also found on websites that traffic in pirated content such as video. In the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, select the General tab. The radio button marked Anywhere should not be selected. Still in System Preferences, open the App Store or Software Update pane and check the box marked
Install system data files and security updates (OS X 10.10 or later)

I have an older version of Adobe Digital Editions (around 3 years old) and was very happy with it.
Then I had problems with my Kobo Reader and asked a friend who works in IT to assist. She could not fix the Kobo but she messed up my Addobe. She downloaded version three and I have an account and a password - was not able to transfer my books from my reader to version three (and I don't like the lay-out - I would prefer to stay with the old version as I also loose all my download date info..)
But all the books I have bought over the last three years are in the old Adobe Digital and I cannot access them any more. When I use it I get the message "that the document is licensed to a different account. I can't even open the books on my computer.
When I go to my Kobo library, I cannot also not open my books and get the message "this doc is protected by adobe digital rights management and is not currently authorized for use with your adobe. please sign in with your authorized adobe id and try again"
I believe the problem is that I do not seem to have a digital id for my old adobe or that the Kobo is not in sync with it anymore.

i have just synced my iphone to my computer and all of my contacts went onto the computer and off my phone !! i have a mac .when i sync contacts i click on all contacts and only seven are going onto the phone !! can someone please give me an awnser
When you connect the iPhone to sync with the new computer, a number of things will happen. If the new computer/iTunes does not contain any music, then yes, you will receive a prompt saying this iPhone is synced to another library, and if you continue, you will lose your music. However, you risk losing a number of other things, such as apps, contacts and calendar data. When you ask about photos, any photos that you have on the iPhone that were synced from the previous computer would also be lost. You need to save the photo folder from the old laptop and transfer that to the new desktop. You also need to sync the contacts and calendar to the same supported application that you were using in the past, such as Outlook, unless you are using an outside web-based sync, such as Google. Also, when you first connect the iPhone, it will make a backup, or at least make sure that it does before you attempt to sync, or you will not have a backup of some of the other things, such as mail settings, SMS, and the contents of the Camera Roll. I would import the photos from the camera roll to the new computer before trying to do anything else in iTunes.

MacBook 2008 wifi suddenly stopped working and says no wifi hardware. Took it to an apple shop, they said it could be the airport card but wouldn't do anymore then that.
Any help on how to fix this? How do I know if it is the airport card or not?
