POP: yahoo, aol, comcast/time warnder/road runner
Imap: google, hotmail, and more including icloud.
If you want to use multiple devices - move to imap, I would even say "exchange", but Google does not support free exchange anymore, since January of that year. So Ironically Icloud or Hotmail would be my choices right now.

Do you have one, two or more entries in the left colum of Mail.app for your mail server(s)? That is, do you have your Mail.app set up with either a btinternet entry, with a btyahoo entry, or both? Or more?
I'm guessing that you might have one account (btyahoo?) listed for incoming (IMAP server) mail, and with the outbound (SMTP server) mail is configured and named btinternet.
Based on what little I see posted, it looks like BT uses both btinternet and btyahoo, but I'm not exactly clear on how they have their stuff set up, and their web set gets helpful and tries to help configure my mail — I don't immediately see a single web page with the mail server set-up details. The BT email client set-up starts here. -

For some reason, I can not delete bookmarks. I did one at a time, then tried 5 or 6 and it worked once then no more. I then tried 1 at a time and it worked once the no more. Why is this happening? This is a brand new computer (Win7) and FF just loaded about 3 hours ago. Do not know how the bookmarks even got in there. Some were ok, but no order and some that were never bookmarks. Looks like FF tried to import some BM's from the Virtual XP installed, but did not get it any where near right. I need to completely delete all of them and install from a saved .html file.Well, I did not see the exact problem that I was having listed in the articles, BUT the problem is solved for now.
I opened FF and the Bookmarks to Organize again. I deleted all of the folders and entries, ONE AT A TIME, AND IT WORKED. Evidently, for what ever reason, FF did not like "Batch" deletes of ANY amount greater than 1 and the HANG UP would occur.
Deleting one at a time then importing the good .html from a good file, loaded the wanted Bookmarks. Yea -
For some reason I can not launch Dash board anymore. I have used Finder and it is not there. What can I co besides take computer into service?
1. It's possible you removed Dashboard from your Dock by mistake. In that case, you can find it in your Applications folder and drag it back to the Dock to create the alias. The entire Dock are aliases.
2. If you cannot find in your Applications folder you can try re-installing the Combo Update I linked to.
This is a fuller install, as opposed to an incremental "delta" update so it should overwrite any files that are damaged or missing. It does not matter if you have applied it before. -

Call Verizon's wireless tech support & explain your problem to them. They will provide "step-by-step" instructions over the phone.
Take notes too!
TIP: If you do call & don't want to go through all those darn promps, when you initially call, just don't say anything. The automatic voice will then say, "will connect you to a service rep." -

I have an old iphone 3G that I want to use as an ipod touch. It does have a sim card in it and it has been reset. For some reason it will not pick up my wireless network in my house, or any other wireless network. What could be the problem?

Just switched from H20 to T Mobile. For some reason I am only picking up 2G instead of 4G Network on this phone. Is there a way to get a carrier update to fix this? I have other T Mo devices at same location and they are all picking up 4G service

This problem only started after I updated iTunes to version 10.7.0.21. Never had a problem with the AE speakers until now. Funny no problem on my 64 bit PC only the 32 bit one.
If you are running win 7, i had this problem come up when i updated my itunes 10.7, btw it now runs like a dog, on slighty older hardware in win 7, hopefully version 11 fixes this!!!!!!
Go here, apparently firewall settings for itunes can be reset, so you need to add back in udp access, and change it to public.

I can't think of any way to make the Navigation Toolbar appear/disappear based on which direction you move your mouse.
Well, there is full screen view, where the whole toolbar area including the tab bar slides up off the screen, and reappears if you slide the mouse pointer all the way to the top. (You can use the F11 key to turn full screen view on and off.)

I can not complete my 4s setup because it can not select my att 2wire router. It sees and just spins. I can not go forward without the wi-fi connection. How can I get it to select my 2wire router internet connection?
What you need is a wireless router. This will allow you to connect all your devices. You should NEVER run just a modem and PC without a router in between due to the hardware SPI firewall the router has built into it. This is leaving your PC open to outside attacks. Get a wireless router.

But when you get this posted on the right forum, I expect they wlll suggest the problem is with either the camera's port or its settings – since capture works with other cameras and presumably the same cable. So doublecheck to ensure your camera is set to hdv if captuiring hdv and so forth.
