Each time i open it, it says "Application Not Responding" and I try opening it in my Finder and it'll say "The Application 'Safari' cannot be opened." and below that it'll say "-1712" Please help? I would really like to open it again.

You need to take your MacBook Pro to your Apple store genius bar and check that they will do the upgrade for you...price for 4 GB memory used to be $200 but you will have to check with them for the current cost.
You can also check with OWC, http://www.macsales.com and see what their cost is and decide if you want to do it yourself. Cost will be about half of that at the Apple store.

Just to clarify - the complete special offer is available to customers with a registered CS3-CS6 individual product or Suite. However, education or volume licenses do not qualify.

I'm not sure I understand your question really, but one thing for sure is that you need Lion for iCloud to work.

Is it an account that you've just created ? If it is, then unless the instructions on this page are followed when creating an account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534
then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used to download any item from the store. You should be able to remove the card's details after entering them.

You have to go to Settings>iCloud and tap Delete Account, then sign back in with your updated credentials. This deletes the account and your synced data from your phone, but not from iCloud. No, didn't have to sign out. As I started to, got a messge saying something about losing all my calendar information, which unnerved me so I didn't sign out. It was correcting the password in another email account that corrected the situation for me.
