either something got damaged when you installed the hard drive or you need to perform a pram reset (other possibilites could have occured, these are the ones I think)

No, it is not a bug. It is working as designed. And there is noting in the manual that staes you can create folders for a POP account.
You do know that any email sent through a POP account stays on the provider's server (often for years) even if you delete it from your inboxes, right? Completely beyond your control. Refusing to use an IMAP service doesn't protect you from anything. -

I had an iTunes account on an old computer with over 300 songs then when I updated my computer to the MacBook Pro it deleted all my songs when I signed into iTunes. Is there a way I can get those songs back?
Did you put the songs on the new computer?
You should copy everything from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer to your new one. -
So I was so stoked to get my songs, I had windows on my old pc and upgraded my life with mac book pro. When i got into my i tunes account it automatically startesd [pulling the songs I purchased. I was amazaed jumping around like a kid, I'm 39. I was working on a project and purchased a couple songs that night to use in my movie. I closed out everything and shut down the computer, Only to awaken to have it all taken away from me. Why? Can you please help me?
Your music will only be where you put it.
Copy it from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer.
If for some reason you have failed to backup and you do not have the old computer, not good, then you can redownload some itunes purchases in some countries.

I am using a OSX MacBook Pro running Mavericks version 10.9.4 and using Firefox 30.0. My Mac has recently been hijacked by a program called "Trovi". Whenever I open a blank new tab in Firefox the tab opens it opens with Trovi. The Mozilla forums offer support but all solutions are for users who run Windows. How do I remove Trovi from my Mac? When ever I put my Iphone on the left side of the (Pad?) my laptop goes to sleep, sometimes does come back on until I change the position of the phone. Can anyone explain this?
Sleep function in the MBP is triggered by magnets placed in the lid.
There is an advisory from Apple against stacking portable computers to prevent this.
