I have a Max osx desktop and the other day adove flash player 11.2.202.235 appeared on my screen so I tried to download it. Nothing really happened so I went back to playing my games which were website games and now I have missing plug ins. What's this?
I have a Max OSx desktop and the other day Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.235 appeared on my screen so not knowing any better, I downloaded it with no luck.
After that, I went back to playing my website game- Squircircle jigsaw puzzle and a tiny box appeared saying I was 'missing plug in'. What can I do about this?
I know very little about this computer. This computer was given to me used and I don't know if it is Leopard, Lion, etc.
I really hope you can help because as I said before, I know zip.

Thanks but I found my problem. It was easy oncew I found out the flask player was also called shockwave. My shockwave add-on was disabled. I'm not certain what caused the condition. I was good one day and not getting the error messages the next day. But, I know what to look for in the future if it reoccurs. Thanks again.

can you add the entire content of desktop to the allowable locations in flash player? when i click 'add' to allowable locations and type in file:///C:/Documents and Settings under website (i know it's not the website but where else would it be added) it doesn't show up in the overall list of allowable 'sites'.

Are you talking about trying to add your desktop to Flash Player's trusted locations? If so, you use the "Advanced" tab on the Local Settings Manager to designate folders and files as trusted. (Full path is Advanced->Developer Tools->Trusted Location Settings.) I recently got my iPhone 5 unlocked and the other day I updated my phone to ios 7. After doing so my phone shut off and turned on and it said I had no service. I guess it completely wiped out my unlock. I was wondering if anyone knows what I can do to fix it!!
How, EXACTLY, did you get it "unlocked"? ONLY the carrier it's locked to can authorize unlocking it. Anything else is a hack.

Basics from the manual are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as NEW. If none of these steps solves your problem, you probably have a hardware issue and will need to bring the phone to Apple.

Have not accessed my itunes account in some time, the day I found that I could not get itunes to run or even open up, I then tryed to reinstall itunes to my computer, I then was able to access my account and some of my library, but not any of my APPS??? How does one recover APPS lost in a reinstall.
Are the files still physically on your HD?
[User]/Music/iTunes/Media/Music is the default location. Unless you suddenly have a bunch of new "free space" on your hard drive, they're still where they were, you just need to create a new library file. -

The only known way to make it work on an external drive is by first installing Windows onto an internal drive, then cloning the install to an external Thunderbolt drive. Thunderbolt is seen as an extension of the internal bus, so Windows doesn't see it as an external device.

I downloaded the latest version of flash player, not working?
I just got my computer back from being fixed and I'm redownloading everything I need.
I have a Mac OS X Version 10.7.5 and i downloaded the latest version of flash player for it. It appears to be installed because there's a window opens up saying "Thank you, enjoy flash player." or something like that after I have downloaded the flash player.
I've tried several times and I STILL can't watch videos or do things that require flash player.
I went to my system preferences, clicked on Flash Player and went to the advanced bar, and it says "Plug-in version 11.9.900.117 is installed."
However, when i go to this page: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html
And I click the "Check Now" button to see if flash player has been installed onto my computer, it says:
"Sorry, Flash Player is either not installed or not enabled.
Please go to step 2."
And so I did and downloaded it AGAIN. I only saw the same thing after i reloaded the page and tried again.
I do not have an anti-virus program, so it can't be that.
Is the flash player enabled?
How do I check if it's enabled/enable it?It's usually in your browser's Tools section.

After installing the newer version of flash player 10.3.181.14, My firefox 4 started crashing.
I used to get Flash player plugin crashed but my Firefox never crashed, and that problem was easily resolved by just refreshing that page. But now my Firefox crashes and i have to restart it. which is really frustrating.
I have tried FF3, FF5 beta and the older version of flash player (10,2,159,1) and now i am used this old version but my firefox is still crashing regularly.And it happens alot in Facebook.
