I have a Micro but should i buy an Xtra? is it worth

I just received my zen micro about 4 months ago. Guess what? I already have used up 32% of my hard dri've space on that little thing. That was pretty fast, and now I'm kinda disappointed because of that. I like it alot but i don't like the small hard dri've it contains. Because of that I'm thinking of buying a zen xtra.
Should I or should i not buy an xtra? I know that it cost 30 dollars less than my current mp3 player (Zen Micro). And I know I'm going to miss the touch pad. Do you think i should buy the zen xtra or stay with my micro?
can you plz state the pro's and con's?

Careful when talking explicitly. The Xtra is very portable (it's a portable player!). It's not *as* portable or small as the Micro, but this is a given.
Xtra is more sturdy and reliable, the Micro is a mixed bag.
Having seen them both they *both* feel the same in terms of build quality to me.
Micro looks cooler, Xtra doesn't.
Again this is subjecti've. Some will prefer the Xtra.
Xtra's battery life last longer than the Micro.
Not by much though, only an hour or two.
Micro is light, Xtra is heavy.
A given. The Xtra is a bigger player using a larger hard disk.
Xtra does not charge when connected to the USB, plus the battery drains a lot if you keep it in dock mode long enough.

If your Pro was pretty old and only a 4 core version,
circa 2008 or before, then the current crop of Minis
will probably not be that much of a difference, depending
on the graphics card you had in the Pro.
The Minis with the HD3000 integrated graphics are okay
for most general purpose uses and apps that are not
very graphics intensive. The model with the Radeon
chip is an improvement, but only has 256k dedicated
VRAM.
If the Pro was newer or was an 8 core or more, you will
be very disappointed in performance.
Perhaps your best bet since moving from a Pro, is to
sell your display and get yourself an i7 equipped iMac.
Only 8 core Pros outperform them. The new topend
Macbook Pros are real screamers as well.

as long as you don't tell us WHAT doesn't work, recommendations make no sense.
iM11 is basicly the same as vers08, but now fully functional for hobbyists needs such as slow-mo, green-screen, themes etc.
keep in mind:
iMovie is meant for camcorder imports - no 'edits all movin' pictures' ...

I had the same error when trying to update my apps on my ipod touch. I tried to input my security code numerous times to no avail. I also made sure my billing address was the same as what my bank had on file. To fix the issue I went into iTunes, logged onto the iTunes store, went to account settings and reviewed my recent purchases. Turned out that I had made a recent purchase and didn't have enough money left on my credit card to pay for it at the time. I paid off the credit card, and then input my security code once more and now it works fine. I guess that came out a little wrong last time I sent one it was a 13" i5MBP, with shipping, taxes and import it was 78 pounds cheaper than in the UK, 3 pounds for an adaptor for the power supply made it a round 75 pounds, it took 8 days and was in perfect condition so .. you pays yer money and you makes yer choice.

Before purchasing iPhoto '11, you have to uninstall iPhoto '09. Open Finder, select Applications in the sidebar and delete iPhoto, emptying Trash. Then, open App Store and purchase iPhoto '11. Before opening iPhoto '11, I recommend you to create a backup of your iPhoto library (on Pictures folder) on another folder

I have iMovie '08 but can I buy iMovie '06?

I am a new Mac user...just got my first, a MacBookPro. It came with iMovie 8. From what little I have read here I understand that Movie '06 had a bit more features. I was really hoping to be able to add things such as openng credits to my projects. Can I download '06 or purchase it and if so can I work with both programs to create my movies? Yes and no.
iMovie 7 will only import the video clips used in an iMovie 6 Project. No added effects, titles, transitions or added audio will be included unless you export the Project to full quality QuickTime.
That export will bring all of the Project as a single .dv file.

exactly like mede1 said. I'm in the same boat as you here. My advice is to wait till next year or even the year affter that. Beside the retina display, the new iPad doens't offer any thing highly over the iPad 2

But what about the new model being so close, i just dont want to regret the buy.
No one knows about any new models. Significant upgrade cycles for Macs has historically been on the order of every year or so. There is no guarantee that will continue though.
"so close" is not significant for a computer that will serve you well for several years.
If you decide to buy from Apple they have a 14 day, no questions asked return policy. Should you buy a new Mac and another one comes out during that short period, you can return it for a full refund and buy the latest.
There's nothing wrong with using your existing computer. Replace it when it no longer does what you need it to do. If that happens to be now, you have your answer.

I have a 2009 MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard. I do not think I will upgrade to Lion because I was warned that it may conflict with some of my applications.
There have been so many reviews that talk about how Aperture 3 is so slow and spends too much time searching for Faces and eventually crashes. And, many reviews mention that you need to add to your RAM which I can't do right now, especially on a 3 year old computer.
There are some copies Aperture 2 on Amazon. Would that be a good place to buy a copy or a used copy?

Obviously you haven't read the reviews of Aperture 2
FWIW I use Ap3 on both a 2010 MBP (8 gigs of Ram) and an 2008 iMac (4 gigs) and I have no crashing issues whatever. Remember, you can disable Faces if you don't want to use that feature.
