I have a new 1st Gen ipad and cant get my computer to recognize in devices in itunes or

My old ipad was replaced from the apple store with a new 1st gen ipad. I plugged it into 2 different computers (windows 7 and windows 8) and it was not recognized by the computers or itunes. I updated to the newest itunes on both machines. The ipad is charging but it only shows a "connect to itunes" icon. Please help.

When the AirPort Extreme is in DHCP and NAT mode, it is the product that is controlling the number of devices that can connect to your network......which is around 200.
When the AirPort Extreme is in Bridge Mode....it is your "modem" that is controlling the number of devices that will be allowed to connect to the network. Your modem is not really a modem, it is a modem/router or gateway type of device.
If everything seems to work OK with the AirPort Extreme in DHCP and NAT mode, you do have the option to click to "ignore" the Double NAT error, and the AirPort Extreme will display a green light.
Double NAT occurs when there are two devices...your "modem" and the AirPort Extreme....on the network and both of them are trying to control DHCP and NAT at the same time. Normally, you only want one device on a network providing DHCP and NAT service.
In order for your modem and AirPort Extreme to work correctly, it is the "modem" that needs to be set up in Bridge Mode, so the AirPort Extreme will supply DHCP and NAT services for up to 200 devices.
That may, or may not be easy to do, and your ISP may not support your "modem" in that type of setup.
It is up to you to decide whether you want to try to set things up correctly, or leave well enough alone.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

I'm having same problem with new iPad Mini. My public library that I connect with suggested that maybe I have too many devices (only allowed 6) attached to the Adobe ID, even though this is not the error message I'm getting. In fact, I generally don't get an error message at all, I login to OverDrive, then try and authorize my Adobe ID, which then takes me back to the OverDrive login window, and repeat. I must have tried about 20 times by now. My next step will be to contact Adobe Live Support and have them reset all my devices, just in case that's what the problem actually is.

My music is so messed up i have 3 copies of some things and cant get other things to play?

I just happened to buy a new computer within a week of starting icloud. My music is so messed up, I have 3 and 4 copies of some folders and some songs listed wont even play. I cant find one spot where all my music is listed. I'm so lost. Its messed up on my pc, iphone and ipad. Please someone help.

If you still have your old computer with your iTunes library on it, copy the entire iTunes folder (not just the music folder) from your old computer to your new on (replacing the folder on it now) using one of the methods explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527.

Moving home, New line is Sky and cant get stopped?...

Hi all, hope someone can help me out here.
I am with BT now and have been for couple of years (Phone / BB & TV) and want to stay with BT, i am moving house at the end of the week and thought i would simply phone up customer services and all would be sorted in a few days, but hit a nightmare hurdle.
Essentially BT Customer Services say the new home i am moving into has a Sky phone line and is still contracted to previous tenant and does not have a "stop" on the line until November, so BT apperently can do nothing for me until at least November.
I have health issues, not super serious but do need phone for medical uses, and i also need my Broadband as do online work from home for my employer (in fact my employment contract states i must have internet at home) so waiting over a month to have any contact with the outside world is not an option.
What can i get done? I have been in contact with the previous tenants and they just said "Sky said it will take at least 30days, sorry nothing we can do...bye". And BT tell me that there is nothign they can do at all until the stop date in November as its not there line and under contract Sky.
Been a loyal customer of BT for two years, always pay on time etc, and there doesnt seem to be much help or concern from BT about escalating a solution. Surely as the previous folks have moved out already (i already have keys) Sky can stop the line and BT can take it back no?
Anyone know of the right people or department to call? Or would calling Ofcom help?
I really cant be cut off from the world for over a month, ill end up getting sacked! :-(

I don't think there is anything BT can do until sky release the line and from you post sky are not interested in your problem
going to OFCOM won't help you as they do not deal with individual cases. Maybe you should also consider a business line as residential lines should not be used for business as you describe and the poorer service level on residential lines may cause you a problem

HELP! HAVE SOMEHOW ACCESSED IPOD 'HARD DRIVE' and CANT GET BACK TO MY MUSIC

I just turned my ipod on, and instead of the usual menu, it came up with a BLACK AND WHITE SCREEN, and OPTIONS SUCH AS 'RESET,' 'ACCESSORIZE TEST' and 'SLEEP' (as well as a few others) panicing, I kept pressing buttons to try to get myself out of this, (it directed me to press menu to cancel) only somehow I have got myself into the 'accessorize test' and it now says

I have no idea what has happened, but the closest thing that it seems to be like is when you access the set up system menu of a computer...I am very scared that I will have lost my music etc, and I was wondering IF ANYONE OUT THERE has any idea what I have done and what I can do to solve the problem...any advice will be MUCH appreciated!

You accessed the DIAGNOSTIC iPod feature....
You will want to push the MENU plus the ENTER buttons at the same time...that will reset your device to "normal mode"

I am running an older airport extreme v7.6.4wireless router with a new netgear rn104 server and cant get the server to show in the MacPro hardware or the on the wireless router

How do I adjust the settings to get this Netgear server to show and use the Airport Extreme and show up on the hardware of the McPro?

The server is never going to show on the airport extreme.. it is not wireless.. unless you happen to run v5 airport utility. Most are running v6.
Is the Netgear setup for dhcp .. the display on the front of the netgear should be showing its IP address.

What IP is your Mac getting?
I presume both are plugged into the AE by ethernet.. if not please do so now.
To open anything but Apple products like AE you open the IP in the browser.. simply type that IP on the front screen of the NAS into your browser. If it doesn't connect you have the setup wrong and something is not using DHCP.. in that case tell me exactly what you are getting.
