I have a new company and I am running everything on my Mac(s). I would like to set up my iCal to send calendar requests from my company address. Right now it is sending through iCloud which is not the email that I want to be sending the calendar requests.
I have built the business website using WordPress. I have BlueHost as my email client and everything is working fine. I am now faced with a problem setting up my iCal appointments. Does anyone have a work-around? Right now my iCloud (gMail address) is what is sending the requests.
I don't remember in 10.4.11, but Parental Controls did allow OKing Mail or not in 10.5.8...
BTW, 10.5.8 can be installed on slower Macs, I have it on a 450 MHz G4...

* 512MB of memory (I say 1.5GB for PPC at least, 2-3GB minimum for IntelMacs)

Trouble is Apple no longer sells it, check eBay & such for the Retail version, not the Gray Discs...

If you changed the password for your AppleID, the only way to change that on an iOS device is to delete the iCloud account, then add it back with the new/updated login credentials. It sounds awkward (well, it is I guess), but you just need to do that - delete the iCloud account then add it back.

I have a new iphone and cannot delete the backup from icloud. It says that it is in use. I have read some of the other threads and it only seems to be haphazard solutions. Is there a definite way to fix this? I am not able to change icloud accounts.

What do I do every time I tap "Back up Now" (through iCloud) it always says "The last backup could not be completed". My iPad is plugged in, locked and connected to wi-fi. I still have available 11GB storage from 15GB total storage from iCloud.
I'm having exactly the same problem. I have a new iPad, my iCloud account is set up and verified (I wouldn't be logged in and writing this otherwise), auto backups are turned on, but it's never completed a backup. If I manually select 'Backup Now' in iCloud Settings, it times out while estimating time remaining. Strangely, today my iCloud free storage space went from 5G to 4.9G then back to 5G. Annoyingly, I'm now getting reminders that I've never backed it up! The iCloud help I followed from the forum didn't cover this error message.

Hi, I have a new laptop and would like to syncronise my iphone with iTunes (which I have installed again). But my old laptop has died so I could not transfer any media files, etc. Can I simply connect my iPhone to the laptop without any data being lost?

I’m giving my ipad to my sister and I had the icloud account changed. I have added new ID and deleted the old one. However when updating and downloading apps, it still asks for password to the previous account. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks very much!

I have a new iphone and want to purchase ringtones from itunes. Itunes is asking answers for security questions I did not set up and I can't answer them. How do I get past this to be able to purchase. I can purchase songs on my MAC and sync but itunes doesn't give the option to purchase ringtones on the MAC, just the iphone.
If the email hasn't arrived after a few hours and isn't in a spam filter, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, or clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed in either article, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

I have a new computer and I can't access my Itunes account. The message says I can't have more than 5 computers on this account and I don't. What can I do?
First of all you should really post this in Itunes forums cause you might get more hits on it.. Anyway.. You can only authorize up to 5 comps on one itunes account.. This does not include iOS devices. Those you can have 10.
So to fix this issue, open itunes, hit store on the left side, click log in (or your e-mail address if you are already logged in) in the top right hard corner of the page. One you log into your account you will see a a little area where it says you authorized 5 out of 5 comps. Below it should be a button to clear all those out. Itunes will de-authorize all computers on the account then you need to go back Store tab in the menu bar and select authorize this computer.
Remember it will deauthorize all your computers, so you need to re-authorize any other computers you have. -
Although I can access iCloud, my system preferences on my iMac still show Mobile.me. I have to sign in with my mobile.me ID which is not the same as my Apple ID. I want to change my iCloud ID and password to be consistent with my Apple ID and password. How do I do it?
you need to be running OSX 10.7 or 10.8 to use iCloud i believe. It shows you are using 10.6.8 which doesn't support iCloud.

Depending on what kind of computer you have, you're gonna need to put that backup in the appropriate folder or itunes is not gonna be able to see it for you to use.

Every time I try and open up my itunes it will get stuck on lode. I am not able to click on anything or close down the page. I have to restart my computer. I have a new ipod and can't even get my music on it or watch my movies! what is going on?
