I need to transfer purchased apps from an old windows computer with itunes 9 onto a new computer with windows7...
also need to update both 3Gs phones OS from 4.1 to 6.0... in order to get all the contacts & pictures onto 2 new iphone 5's that I want to update to
also have new ipad 4 that I would like to add some existing apps, pictures, and contact info to.
This is a lot of updating and steps...need to know the best way to proceed?
Do I install ITunes first then ICloud... will all my purchased apps be brought into the new computer & itunes?
When upgrading the 2 old 3gs iphones will I lose any data... pictures, contacts, etc.
Only need to update the 2 older phones in order to get the contacts & pictures off them and onto the 2 new iphone 5's I want to get
Then I would like to add a new ipad4 I just got to the mix and get everything into ICloud

i have wetechies @ 300 usd/year trying to remotely do that. day 2, so far no success.
i cannot afford to buy all that. i have cancer also, and with 6 months to live, friends have generously bout me a great computer for my art needs.
but i need more than a computer. and i need more than photoshop. i need the programs n things in my plugins .
does anyone know how to do that?
my wetechies from india are on day two, and ony have given me a 1.16 kb pd icon! then asked me if that was fine.
i said to them it is fine if it works! which it did not.

my cs3 extended and the plastic case bearing the serial #, bought for 900 usd, were stolen the night i was in the hospital having my mastectomy.
i had the ps3 inside the plastic case in my living room drawer. when i came home, there was a psc ( not extended ) in one of the 2 computer drawers.
i am not sure why. but in the second drawer was my chest xray from the hospital???? i suppose ,since i never looked at it myself, it may have had my personal info needed for the thief to pose as me. also, my purse, with passport,all forms of id and my keys, were stolen on another day . but i have bad credit, so good luck to them.

Whether your music purchases will be in the cloud will depend upon what country that you are in, and whether it is still in the store (record companies occasionally remove their music) - you can't add music to the cloud without subscribing to iTunes Match.

The itunes on my new computer recognises by Ipod but not the music content already on my ipod. This means it does not show the content in the library on itunes any more. The content on my ipod is not purchased from itunes store. Can i get it to show up in the `new` library? Is this also preventing me from downloading new items into my ipod - as i can download new discs into the library, but they will not load into the ipod. I dont know how helpful this will be but here we go:
try syncing your ipod again
do you still have these cds? try reburning them to you library
restart itunes
restart the computer
hardware reset ipod touch
Heres how to do this
Hold down power and home button at the same time until the screen goes black, ignore the slide to power off arrow
Idevice will now restart on its own, this might take longer then when waking it from shut down
6. now try step 1 again
note: try any of these ideas they are not a set order of instructions

Set the iTunes to prevent automatic syncing before you plug it in the first time. You should be able to extract any photos in the camera roll as you would from any other camera. You can transfer purchases to get anything you actually purchased from the iTunes store off the phone and into iTunes. Made sure you have at least 1 contact in whatever application you intend to sync contacts to. This will give you the option to merge them. If you don't, the phone will be overwritten with the blank address book from the computer.
As for extracting anything else, media sync is meant to be 1 way only. Computer>iPhone.
As for media that wasn't purchased on the phone, you can try a 3rd party program that 'may' be able to extract it, but this isn't sanctioned or supported by Apple in any way. Technically, you're out of luck if you don't have a backup from the computer that was repossesed.

You are probably trying to use old Sync with Firefox newer than version 29,
and they did make old Sync unusable on fresh installations of newer Firefox.
You can uninstall that newer Firefox, then install Firefox 29 from here:

You are allowed to have two machines with activated installations, so if you only had one installation, you still have the option to install on a second without doing anything further than that. If you originally downloaded the purchase thru Adobe then you might find a download link available in your Adobe account online. First of all you should really post this in Itunes forums cause you might get more hits on it.. Anyway.. You can only authorize up to 5 comps on one itunes account.. This does not include iOS devices. Those you can have 10.
So to fix this issue, open itunes, hit store on the left side, click log in (or your e-mail address if you are already logged in) in the top right hard corner of the page. One you log into your account you will see a a little area where it says you authorized 5 out of 5 comps. Below it should be a button to clear all those out. Itunes will de-authorize all computers on the account then you need to go back Store tab in the menu bar and select authorize this computer.
Remember it will deauthorize all your computers, so you need to re-authorize any other computers you have.

I have these movies downloaded on the old computer from digital hd redeemed codes: Fantastic Mr. Fox, Super 98, Thor, Inception, The Hunger Games, and Star Trek Into Darkness. When I search it on itunes to see if I can just re-download it, that isn't an option. I would have to buy it again. Home Sharing isn't what I want because the old computer will not be here forever and it is not connected to wifi.

How to use your iPod to move your music to a new computer

These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
If you have an iOS device that syncs with contact & calendar data on your computer you should migrate this information too. If that isn't possible create a dummy entry of each type in your new profile and iTunes should offer to merge the existing data from the device into the computer, otherwise the danger is that it will wipe the information from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library, or a backup of it, then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data. If you don't have any Apple devices then see HT2519 - Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store.
