I have a new iPhone 5 version 8.1 - incoming caller ID does not work and I cannot send or receive SMS messages. ISP says everything is active on their side. I have just upgraded from Samsung with the same phone number and services. Help?

Anyone know why this is? I currently have a five bars of reception, can send/receive texts, and make calls. If I turn 3G OFF, I get 0 bars of reception. I cannot make calls, and if I try to send a text, it says message failed. The only way to fix this is to turn on 3G, and then reboot. If I just turn 3G back on (without rebooting).. the situation remains the same

I have reinstalled both updates as advised above but mail v4.6 still does not work and mail v4.5 continues to have the same error message?

I had to install update 10.10.1 as a stand alone because the app store shows it as an available update but will not "install it" (the app store will start to "download" it but the download always stops after 1-3 seconds.....fast forward to today when tried to update to 10.10.2 and the app store will not install it....I click on the download button and it starts to download then stops after 1-3 seconds. I again downloaded the 10.10.1 stand alone update and installed it using the .dmg file. I then downloaded the 10.10.2 update as a stand alone and when I tried to install it, I could not because the installation program said that I didn't have 10.10.1 installed......I'm at witts end. I've tried every solution I can find but nothing has worked and my computer has been acting this way since at least November. Any advice out there?

Have IOS5 and new Pages version. Spell check in French does not work
Pages works fine on my IPadI, but how can I get it to spell check in French, used to work fine with other version.

Thanks for any help you can provide.Checked and yes I did have Pages in French and had the French keyboard checked on my IPad preferences. Your suggestion reminded me of that "world key". Read something about it, long time ago. Never used it before but when I taped it, it brought me a choice of keyboards, so now I can go back and forth from English to French on my Pages texts, and all that without going back to my system preferences!

I have an ipad (IOS 7.1) and downloaded latest version of itunes (11.1.5.5) and downloaded itools (1.8.2.8) but my Itools does not work and message that your itools is not compatible with itunes so please want your comment for that.

My new (2 months old) 5s fingerprint recognition sensor does not work. It worked well when I first got it but now to get it to work I have to redo my fingerprints every few days, which completely negates the convenience and cost of the phone. I have tried all the tips and they help a little but it always stops working and I have to redo my fingerprints. Does Apple read these comments? Is there an app that might help?

I also have iPhone 5s on day one and it's working since. When it's not registering, I just clean the Home button and it works straight away.
Did you try when registering fingerprint using all angles? It should learn the more you use it.
Did you clean the sensor with a soft cloth?

After upgrading to OS 10.9.1 Aperature 3.2.3 does not work and I have not been able to download upgrade of Aperature?
Is Aperture installed in the "Application"s folder and simply named Aperture? If not, move it back to "Applications". Did you buy Aperture from the App Store or as a boxed Retail version?
Relaunch the App Store and sign in with your Apple ID (in the Store menu). Reload the "Purchased" page of the App Store. Do see Aperture on the Purchased tab or perhaps the "Accept" portion of the "Purchased" page? If in the "Accept" portion, accept it to your AppleID and install it. Else look again at the Update page.
For some forum members the update did only appear until after setting the primary system language to English and rebooting the Mac. This bug is supposed to have been fixed with the update to 10.9.1, but try it, if all else should fail. -
