I don´t know why Iphoto doesn´t works in my new macbook... I open it and few seconds later it close...

are you running a "managed" or "referenced" library?
what type of Mac?
how much free space on your boot drive?

Both iPhotos open to a default library (#2) which has 300+ photos, I attempted to "switch to library" under the file tab in iPhoto and tried to choose "other library" which had most of my photos. When I attempt to open it, it doesn't do anything. I can see it and there are 2 libraries but it won't open.
Have you tried to open your old iPhoto library by double-clicking it directly, instead of using the File menu? That should work, if you are running iPhoto '11 and the library has been created by that version or an older version. DO you get an error message, if you select the library directly in the Finder?
I checked and it is the latest version of iPhoto.
Is it iPhoto '11, version 6.0.5? "Latest version" is ambiguous, because it will depend on your system version.
Where is your iPhoto Library stored? -

check your account settings, possibly under advanced settings.
look for an option to check "remove messages from server" or similar. -

How did you search for the iPhoto Library?
What do you mean by "is gone"? Is the iPhoto Library missing from the Pictures folder? Or does iPhoto launch and show and empty library, and you assume, that the library is missing?

Download and run Find Any File to search for a file with "ThumbJPGSegment" in the file name. These are files common to all versions of iPhoto libraries.
FAF can search areas that Spotlight can't like invisible folders, system folders and packages. If there's a library hiding somewhere on your hard drive FAF will find it. -

If its there you will be able to check the current installed version and set preferences for flash and updating. -
I have a new mac book pro and and older MAC desktop. Both are backing up to my time capsule but it is close to full (1TB). If I purchase a new time capsule (2TB) can I bridge them or access both and back up to it still from both computers? If so how do I do this? Thanks in advance.
If you add another Time Capsule, you can have one or both Macs backup to that new device.
However, please note that it is not possible to have backups "carry over" seamlessly from one Time Capsule to another.
If you add a new Time Capsule, each Mac that is backing up to the new device will make a new complete backup and then backup incrementally after the master backup is completed. -

You can get Aip Drop to work on earlier Macs running Lion which Apple say are not compatible, well I did on my Early 2008 iMac.

Ok. I have a new macbookpro which I love. However, we can't get it to print. We just got Comcast with a modem and wireless router. We can all get into the net wirelessly (4 of us). My son set our PC to share the printer, gave it a name and got his PC to work through it. Mine kept pausing (it's been a week now). Finally connected directly to the printer and it immediately went out and found the drivers (for all HP photosmart series) and installed them (I think they are installed. At least they are listed under drivers in the print/fax section). We then did a test print with it hooked up and it worked. Back to wireless and it keeps pausing or telling me it can no longer communicate with the printer. Tried going back and printing while connected to the cable and it didn't work. Several pages of one liners with gibberish on it (some words like fax, document it) but then it failed. I did tell it the wrong model of printer the other day and there is a picture of it under the real printer (which is listed by the name we gave it on my pc). But I know have the correct driver and it shows it in the bar under the driver listing. The other picture of the wrong model is not highlighted and I don't know how to delete it). It just keeps pausing and telling me I'm no longer connected to the printer. BTW, It tells me the printer is ready and shows the name prior to trying to print. We've tried everything including many suggestions from others. Any suggestions? I find it strange I was able to print yesterday while connected directly and tonight it failed (otherwise the printer is working for others). THANKS SO MUCH! Frustrating to say the least but I'm NOT giving up. Carol
I should add that it's an HP photosmart 4280.I found it online and it shows the Mac 0SX operating system.

So I was so stoked to get my songs, I had windows on my old pc and upgraded my life with mac book pro. When i got into my i tunes account it automatically startesd [pulling the songs I purchased. I was amazaed jumping around like a kid, I'm 39. I was working on a project and purchased a couple songs that night to use in my movie. I closed out everything and shut down the computer, Only to awaken to have it all taken away from me. Why? Can you please help me?
Your music will only be where you put it.
Copy it from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer.
If for some reason you have failed to backup and you do not have the old computer, not good, then you can redownload some itunes purchases in some countries.

I'm having a similar problem, I have a creative cloud membership for six more months, my computer was set back to factory settings, and I am not seeing my purchases when logged into my adobe id just the free trial options.
The above advice was not helpful because it is not that there is an error with the program it is not being able to find the programs I purchased. -
This i a frustrating problem for me, i have to keep switching users to access different programs, ie- no office on my new side. Even my i tunes libaries are different. Any suggestions out there.

To free up hard drive space the best bet is to move data files that you don't need access to all the time. Likely candidates are music, video, and photos. Here's an article explaining how to move the iTunes folder. You can move the iPhoto library using the Finder but there is a slight complication. Start iPhoto, open the Preferences and click on the Advanced tab. The first option is "Copy items to the iPhoto Library". If this option is checked, copy the iPhoto library to your external folder (drag it from the Pictures folder to your external drive) and then delete it from your Picture folder. If this option is not checked, it is a bit more complicated and we'll need to talk a bit.
