I have a new Officejet 6500. It printed from my iPad perfectly for one day and then stopped.

The printer is a 6500 E710n-z. It is supposed to support airprint and in fact, did for a day. Now when I try to print an email from my iPad, the messages on the ipad show contacting printer and preparing page. Then nothing. It appears to have sent the email to the printer but nothing shows up in the queue. The only difference between day one and day day was I set up the fax on day two

I don't get it, I read one post about why would we have to buy an AirPrint Printer when we have used the "print to a wifi printer" just fine in the past? Yes I feel that's exactly what's happening to me now too. I want to print from my iPhone and iPad to my WiFi Printer which is also now connected to my Airport Express WiFi network just fine. No problems.

Remove the extensions, redownload Safari, reload the extensions.

I think that we all know the answer to this one.
Unfortunatley the device is concidered damaged by water. Apple can do an out of warranty repair which would cost $199. Generally they would just replace the device in this case for the $199.
The alternative is to Purchase a new device.

I've tried my best to troubleshoot. . . opening in safe mode nothing seems to work.

Did the trick! Not sure what I did to cause the screen to go numb, but this worked perfectly!!! I cleaned the screen and must have inadvertently selected something that locked the screen. This perfect solution kept me from having to run to the Apple Store. Many thanks.

If you are in a wi-fi only area, then you need to join a wi-fi network. Does your office have wi-fi? Has the Admin given you the iformation to join the wi-fi network?
To join a wi-fi network...
1. Go to Settings/Wi-Fi
2. Tap Other...
3. Enter the name of your wi-fi network
4 Tap Security
5. Tap the type of security the network uses and return to Wi-Fi
6. Enter the password and tap Join

New W530 Owner - Can I move down to W7 for a while and then come back?

I have a full Windows 7 license and think I would prefer to move down to Windows 7 for a while and have the option to come back to 8 later. My understanding is that 8's key is in the bios.
If I move down to W7 will it install normally?
If I later want to move back to W8 can I install that from any Win 8 Pro install media and it will just recognize the key at that time?

My location bar has stopped auto completing and I have not changed anything on my machine. It works for perhaps the first two tries of the day and then stops auto-completing

Recently my location bar stopped autocompleting. I cleared my cache but it did not help. it seems to work the first few times when i start Firefox , but then stops. If I quit and restart Firefox, the same thing happens. I have tired checking it after my computer has been shutdown for the night (which I do about once a week), and also after it goes to sleep (which I do frequently).

Don't worry I've sorted it! I just had to turn off Reminders as well in iCloud. Calendar then worked fine, even when I turned Calendar and Reminders back on.

Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs.<br />
You need to use all programs because each detects different malware.<br />

I have an iphone 4s. A while ago it started having issues with bluetooth. All of the sudden, an audio headset I am using quits working with my iphone bluetooth. I check and my iphone doesn't see any of my bluetooth devices. I have an apple keyboard, a headset, and a speaker. Nothing shows up on my iphone but they all connect perfectly to my ipad. I have this problem too. I have an iPhone 4, and this wasn't a problem when I bought the phone back in December. I think it came a month or so later and I suspect with a standard upgrade of something like itunes, or iphone software... but I can't pinpoint it to any specific update as it took me a while to notice it. For me, it does this with my work calendar which is run through Microsoft Outlook. But it's the exact same thing - and it means my calendar isn't reliable anymore.
I've made sure the time-zone settings are correct, I've updated all software, and gone through all possible settings for both my i-phone and Outlook. Nothing fixes the problem, even our tech guy at work didn't know what to do. I know it's not just my phone as the exact same thing has happened with my boss's iPhone which is an iPhone 3G, and it frustrates him to no end.
I'm really hoping someone at apple can tell us what's going on, especially since it never used to do this and there doesn't seem to be any way to fix it. If someone thinks they know what itunes update this was due to, let me know - I'll see if I can go back to that older version.
