I have a new shuffle; I've never used any type of ipod; I've gotten it connected to my laptop; now what?
Nothing is appearing in iTunes? Double check to make sure the cable connections are as tight as can be. Otherwise, try plugging it into a different USB port.

I have been using Itunes Apps for some time. Today I signed to Itunes to get Apps updated. Apple said I must update my account. I did that with a new password. Itunes said invalid support. Now what can I do?
What do you mean "invalid support"? What EXACTLY did it say? Did it say you had an unsupported SIM after updating the firmware on your phone?

Trying to update my ipad2 - went to Settings, General but I don't have a Software Download option. Now what?
Very old versions of the iOS prior to iOS 5 did not have the option to update over the air by using the Settings app. If your iOS is lower than 5.0 you need to update your iPad while connected to the computer you normally sync with.
First thing to do is start iTunes on your computer and use the menu to check for updates. Your iTunes must be version 11.1 so it you have and earlier version of iTunes on your computer update iTunes to 11.1.
Then start iTunes on your computer and connect your iPad. Select your iPad in iTunes and select General or Summary in the right side panel. Do a backup of your iPad next.
Once the backup is complete click on Check for updates. -

I have 3G iphone since 3,5 years now, what happened yesterday for the 1st time since ever - is that the phone has switched off itself even when was charged n since then it refuses to reboot ! Indeed, application says - Enjoy your jailbroken phone ! What would that mean ? Any chanses to get that phone On ? (or does it mean the phone gone old n i should get a new version of iphone ?)

Now, some third-party plugins (such as Red Giant Universe and Video Copilot's Element 3d) do make use of the GPU in AE, but their requirements have nothing to do with AE or its settings.
Premiere, on the other hand, does make use of a GPU, you should ask in that forum what they suggest.
Also, in the future, I would suggest checking on system requirements and benefits BEFORE making a purchase... -

You need to migrate some files to your Mac using Windows Migration Assistant. Migrate your Music folder and the folder with the photos. Then, in your Mac, you will have iTunes as you have in your old computer. After that, open iPhoto and drag the photos to it. Finally, connect your iPad to your Mac and sync it -

My I Phone 3GS did exactly the same. Tried holding the buttons, syncing it to my laptop, plugging it in to the mains (it didn't even beep).
I rang my service provider (Orange) but they couldnt fix it. They passed me onto Apple. Who went through everything. But no joy.
Apple sent me a box to return my mobile to them. Now I have no mobile and have to wait to hear from Apple..

I updated my new iPad to ios7 and it now has a password on it. I do not remember setting one up and I have not yet connected it to iTunes. So I am unable to unlock it and unable to access it on iTunes because I can't unlock it

I am able to receive email from Iphone (am on Time werner cable, Roadrunner) but cannot reply or sent email, have checked ip address and turned on system on iphone, anyone have further suggestions?
Time Warner does not have an authenticated SMTP server for RoadRunner accounts, so unless you are connected to Time Warner for internet access via an available wi-fi network, you will have problems sending email with the account or you won't be able to send at all.
Most, if not all internet service providers block the use of SMTP servers that are outside of their network or not provided by the ISP being used for your internet connection at the time unless the SMTP server is authenticated. This restriction is part of an overall effort to prevent spam emanating from an ISP's domain which probably doesn't help much in preventing spam since the majority of spam emanates from PCs running that swiss cheese for security OS that is Windows that have being taken over remotely. -

I am getting unwanted popup ads about software update for software that I don't have installed. I have an iMac 20", 2009, running 10.10.2 Yosemite. This just started this week. I read that Adobe Flash Player was causing problems with mac's and Windows pc's. I did the Adobe Flash Player update for windows 7, on my pc's. Is this my problem here on the iMac? I also get popup ads when viewing and crags list ads. they appear in the midle of the screen, and in the lower right hand corner. Any advice, suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thanks
There is no need to download anything to solve this problem.
You may have installed one or more of the common types of ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it. It's been reported that some variants of the "VSearch" malware block access to the page. If that happens, start in safe mode by holding down the shift key at the startup chime, then try again.
Back up all data before making any changes.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those. If Safari crashes on launch, skip that step and come back to it after you've done everything else.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, ask for further instructions.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. It may have come from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. You might also have downloaded it from an ad in a page on some other site. The ad would probably have included a large green button labeled "Download" or "Download Now" in white letters. The button is designed to confuse people who intend to download something else on the same page. If you ever download a file that isn't obviously what you expected, delete it immediately.
Malware is also found on websites that traffic in pirated content such as video. If you, or anyone else who uses the computer, visit such sites and follow prompts to install software, you can expect more of the same, and worse, to follow. Never install any software that you downloaded from a bittorrent, or that was downloaded by someone else from an unknown source.
In the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, select the General tab. The radio button marked Anywhere should not be selected. If it is, click the lock icon to unlock the settings, then select one of the other buttons. After that, don't ignore a warning that you are about to run or install an application from an unknown developer.
Still in System Preferences, open the App Store or Software Update pane and check the box marked
Install system data files and security updates (OS X 10.10 or later)
or
Download updates automatically (OS X 10.9 or earlier)

As far as I know, Apple Stores do not sell machine specific system discs.
Replacement System Discs can be obtained from Apple's Customer Support for a nominal fee. You'll need to have the model and serial number of your Mac available.

I think my ITunes has crashed- I have reinstalled twice but still get same error message 6034 and Error7 Windows,was told it might be library files not ITunes directly.Should use restore point, but I've never done that before and is permanent...don't want to make matters worse or screw up everything else with restore button....It is restore point from Nov. Anyone have a solution for me? Thnx for your help.
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.
