Welcome. I have a signature on a piece of paper which has been done with blue pen. It has been scanned at resolution of 600x600 dpi. I want my signature to look like the original one after printing. Is it possible? There is a plenty of tutorials how to do that with normal black pen or how to do transparency etc. I need signature which looks like originals blue pen. Thank You. "ICC" stands for "International Color Consortium," an open, vendor-neutral color management system which functions transparently across all operating systems and software packages. Basically, this means that when you create an image in Photoshop with an ICC profile in it, and you print that image using the ICC profile supplied with your printer (usually with a specific paper stock) then you get the color you expect. This of course, assumes that your monitor is also calibrated and has its own ICC profile, so you're reasonably confident that what you see on screen is accurately depicting the color image as well.
If you're using Photoshop in a design or creative suite, then fire up Bridge, and set Edit>Color Settings for all your Adobe applications. If you only have Photoshop and not a design or creative suite, then in Photoshop go to Edit>Color Settings. This might send you to the manual, or to reading up on color management for more understanding. But if you want your prints to look like the original, this is the road you should probably travel.
BTW, not all printer drivers use ICC profiles. I don't have any experience with the Brother J315, but I'm sure you can find out whether it does by reading the documentation. Good luck!

Welcome to the HP Forums.
That you for provided such a detailed post with what you've already completed, for the issue with your battery. I will try to guide you further.
I would like to provide you further documents for troubleshooting, but you've essentially completed what I have for this issue. The only step left, would be to test the battery.
You can do this with another battery, or in another notebook. I know you mention another machine, but if you know someone who does or someone who has a compatible battery. This would test that. You could even see if a local computer shop could test it.
The reason for this, is if the battery is the problem, it's much easier and more affordable replacement. Also, you mention it being new, might have warranty.
The other possible cause to the issue you've touched on, that would be the system board. Testing the above, would just confirm if this is the problem or not. From there you could decide on what you'd like to do.
I know, there really aren't many suggestions here, but I hope this can provide you with the next step.
Let me know how things go, with the route you choose to troubleshoot.

Authorize using the correct account name
The items you're trying to play might have been purchased using a different iTunes Store account. To determine which account was used to purchase an item, follow these steps:
Select a purchased song in your library and choose File > Get Info.
Click the Summary tab. Note the Account Name that appears in the list. This is the account name (Apple ID) you'll need to use when authorizing your computer to play this purchase.
Note: The account name that appears is the one you used when purchasing the item and does not change if the account name (Apple ID) changes.
If you've authorized the Apple ID that is shown in the Summary tab, you can check the purchase history for that Apple ID from Store > View My Account. If your purchase history does not reflect the purchase of the items in your iTunes library, consider any other Apple ID you may have created, and authorize the computer for your additional Apple ID.
If you forgot the password to one of your accounts, you can recover it using Apple's password-recovery website.

I have tried converting the book to different files like, mobi, epub, pdf. By using an app on my iphone.
I still cannot add it to iBooks Author.

PP points to an original file which has been deleted
I import an original file (which is 90% trash), edit it, export it as H.264, delete the original, open the edited file, and then PP points to the original which is gone (get the message "where is the file?..." Can I point to the new h.264 file? Is there another work around? I do not want to keep the originals. I've lost a lot of files this way. Can anyone help me out?
I guess I'm a little lost. Why do you need to do your rough cut in a separate program? Premiere can do rough cuts. Your original post sounded like you wanted to delete the long, original clip, but still have the short sections of that clip available in your archive, or for further editing. If that's the case, give the "Collect Files..." command a try. If it fails, you'll lose nothing. If it succeeds, you'll have shorter "original" clips stored in a new folder (i.e. c:/copy of project footage) from which you can create a new project (or continue fine cutting the "copied" project).
...but then you say you don't want to keep originals? How have you lost files this way? By deleting them? Forgive me for asking, but I don't know you or your circumstances: how long have you been editing with Premiere? You do know that when you "edit" your original file it is actually left untouched by Premiere, right? Premiere (actually, pretty much any NLE I can think of) stores references only to the parts of the original file(s) you want to see; the parts you include in your timeline. If it's not in the timeline Premiere basically ignores that part of your original file, but it's never actually deleted.
The only way files are ever deleted (barring something like a hard drive failure) is when you navigate to the actual file on your hard drive (either outside of Premiere or within the Media Browser) and explicitly click "Delete". If you already know that, forgive me for the explanation, but again... perhaps I'm a little lost on what you're trying to accomplish. -

Note :1304853 does not help, because the remarks field in the JE has been used with data

i have a ipad which has been locked due to the owner claiming it was lost. I have had the serial no. checked and it is not stolen but I can't use it. I have talked to the owner many times who refuses to give me the password or has no idea what password was used.
Unfortuinately there is nothing that can be done.
If its locked its locked. This is a theft deterrant mechanism.
If you could unlock "stolen" ipads then there would be no purpose for the feature.
You will have to convince the owner you bought it correctly, or accept its no lonnger usable by you until the original owner removes the lock. -

i am unable to locate my old itunes account. I save music from my own collection and purchased tracks from itunes. i believe the account was using an old gmail account which has been deleted by google as it was inactive for a period of time. the rescue email address is also not obsolete. Is there anyway of tracking down my old account either by creditcard number or home address? i have not been able to get music on any of my devices, ipad 2 or my iphone 5. really need some help as this has been like it for several months.. probably a couple of years if i thnk about it.

I have a huge iphoto library and an HP simple save hard drive which has been mac formated.
the discssion board states to close iphoto, go to folders, locate, click and drag library to new location (ie-my HP simple save which has been formated to mac) When I look in my libraries, I have several for libraries, including some that say 6.
When I open one, not all my photos are contained, only a part of my entire iphoto library

[email protected]Open a Finder Window and go to your Username then to the Pictures folder. In there you will find a file, actually a folder but I won't get into that, called "iPhoto Library.photolibrary". It is that files (Folder listed as a Package) you need to Copy to your external drive.

I have a new MacBook Pro with OS10.8.2 and cannot get Contacts to print a list of addresses with pictures showing. There is a check box selecting "picture" which has been checked - but no picture. This worked fine on OS10.7.5. Problem??
First, back up all data immediately, as your boot drive might be failing.
There are a few other possible causes of generalized slow performance that you can rule out easily.
Reset the System Management Controller.
If you have many image or video files on the Desktop with preview icons, move them to another folder.
If applicable, uncheck all boxes in the iCloud preference pane.
Disconnect all non-essential wired peripherals and remove aftermarket expansion cards, if any.
Check your keychains in Keychain Access for excessively duplicated items.
If you have more than one user account, you must be logged in as an administrator to carry out this step.
Launch the Console application in the same way you launched Activity Monitor. Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Select the 50 or so most recent entries in the log. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V). You're looking for entries at the end of the log, not at the beginning.
