I have a pair of bluetooth headphones, but they wont connect to my Macbook air (Original 2008)
I don't know what the brand name of the headphones are, but I know they are NV-02285 bluetooth connecting headphones. They connect to both my iPhone and Macbook Air fine, the only issue is when they do connect to my Macbook, it tells me they are working together. However after a couple of minutes hey disconnect, and then I have to use the setup to connect them again. The headphones also won't do anything after connected, I will play music after i have selected to use them as an audio device, but nothing happens, I still hear sound coming only from my Macbook. If anybody has any kind of information I can use to try to fix this issue, that would be so very much appreciated, thanks!

This doesn't work for Soen Transit speakers. My MacBook pro (mid2010) running Yosemite has never found the speakers. I'm considering returning them to Apple. Also chances of it discoing my new iPad Air is 50/50. Any ideas?

The Air has mini-Displayport video out, so depending what ports the monitors have (mini-displayport? DVI? VGA? HDMI?) you will need the appropriate adaptor (eg, miniDP to HDMI) and probably also a cable (eg a standard HDMI or DVI cable).

but can usually find them cheaper online elsewhere.
Edit: the only way, I believe, that you could attach two monitors to the Air would be to use a USB adaptor for the second monitor. Something like this:

How do I send files from my IMAC via bluetooth to my new Ipad? They will not "pair" but they are connected and discoverable. I send a file from Imac snow leopard OS X 10.6 to the ipadusing bluetooth, but the failure message says the ipad does not have the necessary services. What are these? Do I neeed to have iphoto and ms word to send pix and .doc files?
File Sharing over Bluetooth is not a feature of iOS devices. iOS does not include the required Bluetooth profiles to allow this. You cannot add this feature, so you may as well stop trying.

Forget the pairing on iPhone and if possible the headphones ( see their user guide ) and start the pairing process again from "new"

i just changed my iphone 4s and received another one as i was still under my one year warranty, and now when i play music via headphones there is a volume limit on it, i have tried to turn it off but it wont turn off someone please help>>>

Have you checked your Control Panel to make sure you don't have the flashlight turned on?
Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and make sure the flashlight icon (bottom left-hand corner) is not white. If it is, tap on it to turn it off.

My i Pad 3 shows "cannot Access Find My Friends open the app and review your sign in information to continue sharing your location. And I have two buttons : Later and Open but they don't work. As long as I have this screen situation, I cann't do anything on my I Pad. Please help !!
I have the same problem on my iPhone4. It is obviously a bug in the software. Once it pops out I am locked out of my phone. I can't even begin to describe the frustration this causes. All that stuff about holding down the buttons is useless. the phone won't even shut off. I can take a screen shot like that or go to voice control. Even when I got to a wifi connection, I can't get on. This app blocks everything else. This is a serious bug and can have serious consequences. The only thing my phone would do is go to voice control and let me play iTunes or phone people. Some smart phone hey?

I have connected my new Macbook Air to my existing Samsung large external monitor with a VGA adaptor but I can't get the full mac desktop to display. No icons but then websites are coming up. Help! Further info: I am a complete newbie to Mac. Had three macs prior to 2000 then four PCs. Just come back and struggling a bit with the unfamiliarity. On my old PC laptop I could simply switch from the laptop screen to the large external monitor (and back) with the F4 function key. While I can get the background image from my MBA to display, that's it. Until I noticed on the far left of the external monitor, the very edge of one of the web pages I was on. So Idragged it over to display in the centre. But that's all that's there. And now I have gone out of those web pages but they are still displaying on the monitor. There is some wierd disconnect. I'm sure it is just a setting thing. Will keep searching for answer but any advice welcome!
Your dsplay is getting extended onto the external monitor. Chcnage the setting to duplicate it or only display on the external monitor and you should be fine,

I have a time capsule and two air port expresses. The time capsule is in the middle of my house, the expresses equidistant in opposite directions. I would like the expresses to both connect directly to the capsule, but they are connected in serial. How to reconfigure.
I ask because I have music running out of both expresses, and the one that is most distant from the time capsule (routed through the first express) regularly drops the music signal from itunes. And I am guessing the serial configuration of the routers has something to do with this, but my root problem is music dropout - any thoughts would be appreciated.If you have the the most current model of the Express devices, the default setup is to "extend" the wireless signal. In this type of setup, each Express communicates directly to the Time Capsule.
How did you setup the AirPort Express devices?
What version of the Mac operating system are you using on your MacBook? Or, do you have AirPort Utility installed on your iPad? -

Hi,
the question is: does it play unter iTunes on your computer? If yes, then you have to convert the video in an iPad compatible format. You can do that within iTunes. Under iTunes click on the left side on "Movies" and find your video. Select it. Then find in the menu bar "Advanced" and the menu point "Create iPad or Apple TV version". Your computer will do the rest. When finished you should have two versions of the video, the original version and the new iPad version. Feel free to delete the original version, if you don't have any other need for it. The iPad version will play fine on your iPad.
If your original video doesn't play under iTunes, you have to convert it to a Quicktime format first. In this case, please give us more details on the format your original video is stored in. -
I'm trying to download the newest version of I tunes because I just got the I phone 5c..it wont download because I have to have I tunes 10.6.8 but it wont let me download that either because I need I tunes 10.6 to get it and I can't find that download anywhere..I need to get the book for school on my I pad or phone by tomorrow...what do I do?

Then, make a backup of your data with Time Machine or Disk Utility's Restore, insert the disc and follow its steps to upgrade to Mac OS X Snow Leopard. You shouldn't lose compatibility with any application. After upgrading, open > Software Update, and install the latest version. It will install iTunes 11.1, so you will be able to sync the iPhone 5c with your Mac
