I have a PC DVR Net card and having a hard time connecting to the media server from my friends computer.I have read everything I can about port forwarding and I believe everything is right but I can't connect to my Web Cam server from another location. I do have it working on my Lan but when I go to a friends computer I can download the Web Cam fine but when I try to start the server it say's can't connect.My router is a WRT54G Version 3. I forward the Ports to the ports I was suppose to and I even made the computer a static Ip on it and everything seem's to work but I can't get into the server from another PC outside of my connection. My windows XP firewall is turned off and I even turned off the firewall on the router but still no luck. I hooked my connection up right to the computer bypassing the router and I was able to connect to my camera server from my friends computer with no problem so I know it's the router itself causing the problem..I used this one program to check and see if the ports were open and it said they were so I'm lost at this point. Any suggestions I would appreciate it very much.

Reset the router for few seconds ...
Disable all the firewall on the computer ...
Check the IOp ... if getting Ip - 192.168.1.X .... try to ping the Ip .... If getting replies ... try going online
If not gettting Ip -- assign static Ip ... repeat the step ...
Still no luck ..possible the router is gone bad ....

New user and having a hard time with searches

Our company got SB1 several months ago and I've only been using it recently. I also don't think we are using it correctly. We have been assigning some customers as "showroom customer" when we think they are only buying once, or making small purchases, but if they come back days or months later with a question about their purchase or to purchase more, and they don't have their invoice, we can't find them. One sales person was putting their name in the remarks at bottom left, but you can't search that. Another was putting their name in the PO slot, but to search the name has to be exact or it isn't found. We decided yesterday that we need to enter every customer in as a business partner, is that correct, or is there some other area in the invoice where we can put their name and be able to search for it?
Also, when a customer comes in and looks at different products I make a Quote form and list the things they looked at with arbatray quanities, putting them in as "showroom customer" and their name in the lower notes area. I usually do this after they leave, unless it's an actual quote, and I do it for my own records to try to keep track of them, but with out a search ability for the customer it is useless.
I know we must be doing this all wrong.

Hi, Gordon: I would guess we have a few hundred at the most. I have only entered about 20. Most of the entries are retail stores we sell wholesale to, and contractors we sell at contractor prices, but we also have a retail trade of customers and that is going to increase a lot when we open our new show room in a few months.
My main concern is design and sales to the contractors and public, but I frequently get calls from stores asking about our inventory stock, shipments, etc. I'm new to this so I am just learning.

I created a step which calls a module (.dll). This step creates an object and stores its reference into a local variable called "ObjectRef".
Here's what i did:
1. insert step->action: "Action"
2. specify module
3. filled the assembly text box
4. selected the right class
5. filled the .NET invocation text box
6. specified the Value text box to : "Locals.ObjectRef"
Then, I created another step in order to call the method "getValue" from the object created earlier
Here's what I did:
1. insert step->action: "Action2"
2. specify module
3. filled the assembly text box
4. selected the right class
5. filled the .NET invocation text box with "Use existing object(ClassLibrary.cls604242_00).getValue()"
6. Specified the Value text box : "Locals.returnValue"
At run-time, I would expect to see the value of "returnValue" in the variable panel but I don't. Moreover I'm getting a run-time error message.
Could anyone indicate me what I'm doing wrong?
As I mentionned in the subject, I'm conducting an evaluation of this product for my company.

Yeah my first explanation wasn't very clear, sorry. You can do the following to correct your second step:
1) Click anywhere on the text that reads "Use Existing Object(ClassLibrary.cls604242_000)" in the .NET Invocation control. This will "select" that call and will cause the parameters grid below it to show the parameters for that call.
2) You will then see one parameter listed in the grid, with a name of "Existing Object". In the Value column for that row, you should fill in the local variable where your object is stored (Locals.ObjectRef).
Basically, you had told the step to use an existing object reference, but you never specified what object reference to use.
Another tip is that if you have an error in one of your calls on your step, it will show the text in red in the .NET Invocation control. So if you haven't specified a required parameter, it will show that parameter in red in the invocation control. In this instance there was an error with the single parameter on the Use Existing Object call, and you can see in your screenshot that the parameter is displayed in red text.

I have trashed the CUDA program and reinstalled Premiere and AE but no joy. Same message followed by another error box with options to Retry, Send to Apple or ignore. I have tried all 3 options but nothing works! Every time I launch either program same message appears.

There is no auto-fill, you have to Copy and Paste, or Find & Replace, or if each Card is a free floating Object/s then you can click on them and option shift drag copy them into place.

It's not clear what you mean. Do you mean you can't place a call to anyone outside of Shangai? That would be an issue with the calling plan you have with your carrier. Contact them. Likewise, if you can not place a call when you are outside your coverage area, that is also a carrier issue. If you are trying to use a different carrier while travelling, it's possible your phone is carrier locked and you can not use the carrier you are trying to use.
