It is normal for you phone to be recognized as a camera. If it isn't showing in iTunes under Devices there are troubleshooting steps here:

Only iTunes purchases may copy over via File > Transfer Purchases - otherwise syncing is one way, from the computer to the device. To get the rest of your music/films etc onto the new computer you can copy the backup from your old computer onto the new one and then load them into iTunes

I had the developer preview for IOS 6 on my phone, and just got a message telling me that my operating system is no longer active. How do I get my phone activated again?
I had the developer preview installed. Never had to update to the release version of the OS. Now, the preview has expired, and I cannot use my phone because my iTunes reads my OS as being current, but my iPhone cannot active. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?If I Google for Michael Superczynski, first match tells "Michael Superczynski's Profile : Apple Support Communities". It in fact does a lot of work there even if not paid.
And yes we do not have disagreement about "official apple developers". Problem is that Apple screwed our devices because we are "official apple developers" and did effort to stop us getting proper help. I unbricked my ipad and iphone thanks to unofficial help. Thank you who wrote this unofficial help and "no thanks" for apple for ruining my access to my devices. My mistake was assuming that "update" button on my devices works. It did not because it always told "Your device has latest IOS6 installed" until it bricked yesterday.
If Apple does not want to listen us, continue do delete post, blame us installing your software and yes we stop buying your devices and developing for them.

We have iPad and ipad2 with one email address but two owners. How can we share purchases, receive same email messages but have individual accounts at the same time? Can we have same Apple User ID with different passwords? Hepl!
Aside from the fact that we have hijacked this thread - which we really shouldn't do - you would probably be better off posting questions or seeking advice in the iCloud portion of the Apple Support Communities. I'm sure that there are a lot of more experienced iCloud users on that site than I am.
I'm not a big believer in iCloud at this point, so my experience with it - other than downloading past purchases - is really pretty limited. I would not want to steer you down the wrong path.
However, here is the Apple iCloud support website that is loaded with all sorts of information and links to even more information. This will get you started anyway ....

I have a friend that just got a new cell phone, it's not a iPhone, but the person that use to have the number that she got did! I can't message my friend, they go out as iMessages to the other person! How can I fix this without turning all my iMessages off?
She needs to call the carrier on her old iPhone and have it removed from her account.
Once she does that you will not be able to use iMessage because that only works Apple to Apple.
You will need to use something else like Skype instead.

I have not used my Apple TV in a few years, and just got it out of the bag to use on a new TV. I connected it up to power and with an HDMI cable toTV. It attempts to set date and time and cannot. I cannot get the remote to interact with the box also. Could it be something as simple as needing a new battery?

Ensure that Apple TV is within range of your Wi-Fi router or base station.

Check your Wi-Fi network settings on Apple TV:

I have PS elements 10 and just got a new canon 5d mkiii.

I did the camera raw update and downloaded the dng software.I also downloaded the adobe app manager. I am not sure where to go from here. Do I have to upgrade to ps 12 or is there a way to make this work?

If going to Help -> Updates doesn't work, try a manual update.

It really can take very long to import and process so many images - I would not dare to make a prediction.
Can you open the Activity Viewer?
From Aperture's main menu bar: Window > Show Activity.
This window will tell you the filename of the image that is currently being processed.
if you are seeing, that the import is still far from being finished, you might to pause certain tasks directly from this panel, like the generation of previews or scanning for faces. I'd let the import run, if you see that it is making progress.
Have you enabled very time-consuming options, like the generation of high resolution previes or scanning for faces and places? if yes, and the import is not making any progress at all, I'd disable thes options in the Aperture preferences for the initial import. You can add these later for the projects where you want to use these features.
