I have a photosmart plus B209a but when I scan into my PC i only have the option of sending it to p

B209a when I scan a document into my computer I only have the option of sending it into my pictures, I cannot send it to documents or to Adobe reader. As this is not something I need very often but once in awhile I need to convert a document into PDF format but now I cannot do that and I do not want to pay for Adobe reader in order to covert into PDF.
I used to be able to scan and send it in Email but now I cannot even do that even if I save it as a file.
Any suggestions please. My computer is pavilion Elite HPE 150f using IE8 windows 7 64 bit purchased last April.

I had a nasty problem a week or so ago (nothing to do with your issue). I decided to reset the iPad back to factory level. I then restored it using a backup that I had made before the problem. Turns out that I did not need to do that but,......finally getting to the point , I started with 7.2 GB free and wound up with 8.4 GB free. I did not lose anything and I have no clue what caused me to recover that space. In any event, I am babbling on about this in case it might be of help to you.
Oh, I do know some apps cache stuff, but very few allow you to clear that cache.

I know, I always do that but I was in a rush to get somewhere and I was relying on my thousand dollar Mac to do some kind of recovery or something. I know Microsoft always keeps temporary files (I think Mac does too, part of me asking here in this forum was for someone to tell me where I can find those files) and when you go to open Office Works then it gives you the option of opening the last recent documents, saved or not saved.
I usually copy paste into my emial just in case something goes wrong with the created document but I just didn't have the time to login and do all that My loss, you live and you learn, BUT still if ANYONE got any info on this, PLEASE DO CHIME IN *keeping the hope alive*

You're saying that when you click on the iCloud preference pane button it sends you to the defunct MMe
rather than giving you this?
Is your profile up to date, i.e. are your running 10.7.5? Make sure you click on the iCloud button and not the MMe button.

Next, plug the Apple TV into your computer with a micro-usb cable (most phones today use these) and start up Itunes. It should detect the Apple TV in recovery.
After that, hold down Option on Apple or Alt on Windows and click Restore. This should open a window that allows you to select the software update you want to apply. Select the one you downloaded earlier.
It will then go through the restore process, which takes only a few minutes, and then you will be able to plug the Apple TV back in to your display and set it up again.
I recently ran into a similar issue with a bunch of these things and after restoring them all to the previous software version they are working again.

Unless you or your software moved or deleted the files from iTunes on your PC, they're still there. Time to go hunting. I don't know where iTunes stores its files on a default installation of a Windows Vista box, but I'd look in your documents folder for something containing "music" in its title. Before you do *anything* to or with the folder, copy it to a safe location. That way if something you're doing messes it up, you've got clean files with which you can work. Make sure you can see all the files in Windows Exploder by first checking your folders settings. By default Windows often hides important system files.

Try force-closing the Mail app: from the home screen, double-tap the home button, locate Mail in the list at the bottom, tap an hold it until it wiggles, tap to close it, tap the home button again.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.
If your sister doesn't know the password for her old ID, and if her old ID is an earlier version of her current ID, she needs to temporarily recreate the old ID so you can delete if from your phone using her current password. To do this, have her go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with her current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to her old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to her old email address. You can now use the password for her current ID to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for her old account ID. After you do this, Next, have your sister recreate her current ID again by going back to https://appleid.apple.com and changing her primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.
Then your can save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to the camera roll on your device, then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted. Thunderbird gets all suggestions for addressing from one of your address books. You have two books by default. The Personal and the Collected books. If you have sent an email to the wrong address then it will be in your collected book for sure. You need to go there and delete it and then find any other occurrences of the incorrect address and fix or delete it.

Hello I am really struggling with iCloud. I have changed my Apple ID but when I go into iCloud it has my old id and won't let me press it to change it and will only let me change password so I can't even delete iCloud pleas help

The actual emails pertaining to the TB account I've used for years are still present under the "Users --> xxxxyyyy --> AppData --> Roaming --> Thunderbird' folder.

Photosmart Plus B209a won't communicate with my computer

I have a Photosmart Plus B209a, and I run 4 different laptops with a wireless connection They run Windows Vista, and Windows 7, and I can not print either. The Wireless hub was recently changed, but prior to that I could not print. I get an error message when trying to reinstall the printer software from Windows that states that the USB device is not recognized AND SHOULD BE REPLACED .I bought a brand new USB cord for the printer from HP, and it still doesn't work. I was on the phone with HP for an hour and a half and they had control of my laptop and the issue is still not resolved, she said it must be my laptops problem and then transferred me to an online pay for help service that was a minimum charge of $65. All I know is I have had problems with this happening from the start, it seems every time there is a software upgrade, I have to reconnect to the printer, and now WINDOWS is not even recognizing the device...I will be interested in any answers you receive. Thanks.
